Chapter 1095: Chapter 1035: Lucas Robertson’s Paternity Leave Ends

When Sheehan was four months old, Kiki brought Dominic back to the Johnson Family home. Dominic’s full name was Dominic Robertson, a month younger than Sheehan, and he was Kiki and Lucas Robertson’s child.

"He looks like you." Sienna Johnson looked at Dominic and said to Kiki.

Lucas had the look of a man who had a son and thus had the whole world; even that coffin face of his showed a smile. "Thank goodness he takes after his mom. If he looked like me, he’d have a hard time finding a wife in the future."

"Mm, that’s at least one honest thing you’ve said."

Dominic looked like Kiki, and his temperament was like hers too—one glance and you could tell he had a good temper, unlike Sheehan.

"Sheehan really does look like Sixth Master."

People said, between husband and wife, whoever’s gene was stronger, the child would resemble that person. Sienna was very reluctant to admit that her genes weren’t as strong as Adrian Desmond’s.

Sheehan was a tsundere kind of kid; in front of people he didn’t know well, he rarely smiled and could easily fool others. Dominic, for example, got completely fooled by him and sat there very obediently.

Sheehan could already sit very steadily, while Dominic had to have a pillow or something behind him to stay sitting upright.

Kiki said, "I’d originally planned to come back earlier to help you with Sheehan, but Dominic was born premature and kept getting sick. I was afraid he’d pass something to Sheehan, so we stayed at Cloudscape Mansion and didn’t dare come back."

"You’ve worked hard."

That was right when the virus was raging. Kiki was worried sick about Curly, whom she’d practically raised by herself. The child was premature, and they didn’t dare take him to the hospital; Rose Collins delivered him. The cord was looped around his neck, and he was almost suffocated at birth.

When Curly came home from school and heard that Kiki was back, she ran straight over from where her mother was.

"Kiki!" Curly threw herself into Kiki’s arms, and the two of them hugged each other tightly. "Curly, come, let me have a look at you."

Kiki’s eyes were brimming with tears as she looked at Curly. Curly’s short hair lay flat against her scalp, and her big eyes curved with a smile. She’d gotten a bit taller.

"Thank goodness you’re safe and sound."

Ever since Kiki had learned that Curly was sick, her heart had been hanging in midair.

Later, when Lucas told her Curly had recovered, she was still worried. Now that she’d seen with her own eyes that Curly was fine, Kiki finally let out a long breath and relaxed.

"I’m doing great. It’s just that my hair is so ugly..." Curly looked at her mother and asked, "Mom, can you buy me some hair-growth stuff so my hair will grow faster?"

"You’re not bald; what do you need hair-growth stuff for?" Sienna looked in amusement at her daughter tugging on her own hair.

"Hairstyles are very important..." Curly’s eyes fell on a strange baby lying on the bed. "Who’s this little baby?"

Kiki said, "He’s my son. His name’s Dominic."

Curly leaned over the crib and stared at the little baby. The little baby seemed a bit shy and lowered his head.

"Is he shy?"

Kiki was just about to say that her son was introverted when Curly suddenly said, all narcissistic, "My charm can’t be that huge, right? He’s already fallen for me at such a young age?"

Sienna gave her a light smack. "You’re a big girl now, and you still talk so shamelessly."

Curly didn’t care. "Mom, you don’t have a single humorous bone in your body. Didn’t you hear I was joking?"

"Little Monster, call her Sister."

Sheehan turned his head away. Kiki shifted to the other side, and Sheehan turned his head the other way again. Kiki leaned in once more, and Sheehan’s tender little neck kept twisting back and forth. Sienna was afraid he’d wrench it, so she hurriedly scooped him up.

"Shoo, don’t bully your brother."

"I’m playing with my brother."

Curly snuggled into Kiki’s arms, acting spoiled. "Kiki, my mom doesn’t love me anymore now that she’s got a little brother. You won’t stop loving Curly now that you have a son, will you?"

"Of course not."

Curly smacked a loud kiss on Kiki’s cheek and said, "Kiki, you’re the best. I’ll be a good Sister too and help you take care of Dominic."

Kiki was extremely moved. "Our Curly is getting more and more sensible."

"Well, yeah, I’ve grown up, haven’t I? I’ve now been upgraded to Sister status. Naturally I’ve got to show some big-sister presence."

Sienna saw that the more Curly talked, the more outrageous she got, so she shooed her off. "Your dad went on a business trip to Cagalanga and brought you a present. I had Sally put it in your room. Go take a look."

"A present?"

"Yes!"

"Dad’s the best." Curly habitually tossed her schoolbag to Kiki and dashed off like a shot.

"This kid..."

Lucas said, "Our son peed."

"How do you know?" Sienna asked.

"I can smell it."

Sienna: ...

Sure enough, Dominic had peed. When little kids pee, it means they want milk. Dominic clung to Kiki, wanting to nurse. Sheehan saw this and thought this little baby was going to steal his milk. He shot over to Sienna’s side, using his tiny hands to guard Sienna’s two milk bags, making Sienna feel mortified.

"You little rascal!"

Lucas felt it’d be awkward to stay, so he slipped out.

Kiki, seeing that there were no outsiders, nursed her son. Sheehan watched with great curiosity, his big eyes blinking and blinking.

"Sheehan, do you want some?"

Sienna stopped her. "This kid is super possessive with food. If you let him have it once, he won’t let anyone else touch it."

When Sheehan was three months old, Adrian had gotten intimate with her. Sheehan saw his father’s head buried in Sienna’s chest and immediately took a swipe, scratching Adrian’s face.

Adrian’s face was dark for days afterward, and he even threatened, "If this brat weren’t my own flesh and blood, I’d toss him into the sea to feed the sharks."

In the end, Sheehan wasn’t fed to the sharks. Instead, he treated Adrian like a thief, guarding against him constantly. As long as Adrian dared to get within a meter of Sienna, Sheehan would wail, then bide his time and launch an attack.

Fortunately, Adrian was on his guard after that and didn’t let the brat sneak up on him again.

Sheehan watched for a while and realized that this new baby wasn’t going to steal his milk. Only then did he let out a yawn, ready to sleep.

Dominic was sleepy too; he dozed off while nursing.

"Dominic’s asleep. Take him back," Sienna said.

"Mm, okay."

Kiki picked up her son, and Lucas, who was standing at the door, saw her and automatically took the boy from her.

Sienna called out, "Lucas, come in. I have something to say to you."

Lucas frowned slightly, reluctantly handing his son back to Kiki.

Sienna also handed Sheehan to Sally. Sally took Sheehan to his room.

"Sit."

"Madam, what do you need me for?"

"You’ve been on paternity leave for quite a while. It’s time you went back to work."

Lucas’s brows furrowed even tighter, but he didn’t say anything.

Sienna said, "Two things. First, help me find out who’s been sending me these photos. Second, find out where Night Owl has gone."

Sienna handed Lucas all the printed unfamiliar numbers and photos.

Lucas took them, flipped through a few, and asked, "Wasn’t Night Owl dead?"

"Adrian says he’s not dead."

Lucas sneered. "Sixth Master made such a huge scene last time and still didn’t manage to kill Night Owl?"

"What can I say? The good die young; the scourges live a thousand years. Night Owl is exactly that thousand-year-old scourge!"
