Chapter 29: Max Meets Meredith

The first thing Max did when he woke up the next day was to go to the bank. He needed to see it go through for himself. He wanted to see the money in his account rise.

Luckily, he went early enough and got through quickly. When he saw the extra $30,000 in his account, he grinned ear to ear.

As he stepped out of the bank, Max said to himself, "Well, I’ve cashed the cheque, may as well start doing my job."

After making a few calls, Max removed Meredith from the block list. The minute he called, he knew Meredith was upset. This is, of course, understandable. He left her high and dry after that day. Any woman would be upset. At first, she didn’t want to see him.

But after explaining and coaxing, she was putty in his hands. He told her it was best they not have contact during that time because her husband had already come in once. He wasn’t sure what would happen if he attempted to call her, so he could only block her for the time being. The reason was simple and even a little stupid, but for Meredith, who had been clinging to him, it was reason enough.

He arrived at Skyline Mews just before lunch. Meredith was determined to have him over. She had already confirmed that her husband would be away. Unlike last time, she even called to confirm when he wouldn’t be back.

She didn’t want to risk him coming back too early. What she didn’t know was that Max and her husband had already coordinated. Her husband knew Max was there, so he made use of the time to spend more time with his mistress.

Max’s mind wasn’t on anything that happened before. Whether someone saw him running out of the villa last time wasn’t any of his concern. As long as he could get his money’s worth.

He walked up to the villa and knocked on the door. The woman who opened it was undoubtedly Meredith. But when Max saw her, his eyes couldn’t help widening.

It hadn’t been that long since he had seen her. Not even a week. What had she been through during that time? He heard stress could make people, but this was...different.

The Meredith he remembered last time had jiggles and folds. To put it nicely, she had a lot of body; to put it unkindly, the bitch was obese.

Body positivity is fine, but unless it’s a medical condition, people shouldn’t let themselves go. At least, that’s what Max thought. But who gives a fuck about his thoughts?

At this moment, even he didn’t care.

The Meredith in front of him-he wouldn’t say she had the perfect proportions, but she was definitely better than before. Her body had started taking on a kind of hourglass shape.

Max had to marvel to himself. If this is what stress does to a person, maybe she needed to stress a little more.

He felt his shaft twitch as he looked at her. He didn’t make his sudden interest too obvious.

He picked her up, holding her waist, and stepped into the house.

"Angel, did you miss me?"

She looked at him with big, watery eyes, tears appearing as if they were about to spill. "I didn’t miss you. I didn’t miss you at all."

"Then why do you look like you’re about to cry?"

She slapped him on the arm while he grinned. She pulled him towards the table when he finally let her go. When Max saw the table, he wondered if she was planning to force-feed him to death.

The place had smelled good when he came in, but he wasn’t expecting the spread he saw now. This was beyond what he expected. Where was this lunch? This was clearly a buffet.

There was chicken, fish, shrimp, lobster, beef, pork. At this point, he was sure she didn’t cook all this herself. She ordered it. He was expecting a home-cooked meal, not a feast. This spread could feed a multitude.

His eyes widened, and he opened his mouth. "This...why do you have all this food?"

"It’s for you," she replied coquettishly.

Max touched his stomach. "Angel, I don’t think I can eat all this."

"I know you can’t. You don’t need to eat everything now. We still have the rest of the day." She sidled up to him, breasts pressing into his arm. "Maxxy, you have no idea how much I missed you."

Max felt her hand going to the front of his pants. He looked down at her hand, then back at her.

"Seems you didn’t miss me. You missed my dick." He slapped her ass. "But that’s fine," he bent and whispered in her ear. "I missed that tight little pussy too."

He heard her purr. When did she become so sex starved? He didn’t think much of it.

"So, food first or fuck?" he asked, squeezing her butt.

She moaned, "Food first. I want my Maxxy to be well-fed. Then we can head to the room and do all the things we never got to do last time."

Max thought he understood what was happening. She wasn’t satisfied last time, and her husband certainly wouldn’t be intimate with her after what he found out. So now he was like water in the desert.

Therapy dick and Oasis, he wasn’t sure how to feel about this. But a win is a win.

It all made sense to Max now. He wasn’t particularly eager to do anything. But since she offered, he didn’t mind. He reached for some of the food, brought it to the table, then sat down with her to eat.

"I remember you like pork; you should have some of this." He placed the dish before her and put his own plate before him and started eating.

Occasionally he would tease her with words, and she would use her foot to play with his thigh. The more she played, the faster Max ate.

She was getting him riled up. If she wasn’t carefully he would take her over the table.

Max glanced at her, only to see her staring at him like a starving wolf.

The way she’s looking at me, you would think I was a piece of meat
