Chapter 2: Touching Something Sticky

Cassie grinned. "I think I’ll definitely like it here."

Seeing her friend after more than ten years, she couldn’t help feeling nostalgic, thinking about the days of her youth when they used to run around naked, trying to catch fish with their tops.

That one time, they accidentally caught the Village Chief and Aunt Ven, Stacey’s mother, in the bramble near the woods.

She blushed. They hadn’t known what they were doing back then, but thinking about it now...

Stacey caught her hand before she could think any further. "I’ll show you around." She pulled her along. "We’re already standing in the living room, I don’t think I need to introduce it. This place only has one bathroom, so we need to share. One kitchen, we can cook together. There are two bedrooms. I asked the landlord for a favour so we could get someone to clean it, but they haven’t shown up yet. So you’re just going to have to spend some time in my room."

The living room in question is cozy. It has a long sofa that Stacey says is a sleeper sofa, with a bunch of throw pillows on it. There are also two love seats on either side. There is a table in the center with various magazines.

A bit further down the hall is a bathroom, just like every other random bathroom. Shower, toilet, sink, mirror. It’s a bit small in Cassie’s view. She had a bigger one back home. She thought the same when she saw the kitchen.

The bedroom, which is supposed to be Cassie’s, is dusty. The sheets definitely need to be changed. The window was open, but the smell of dust was present, which showed Stacey hadn’t actually used the room before.

Stacey held her hand and dragged her into her room.

As soon as Cassie stepped in, she caught the musky scent of sweat and something else. Something that made her blush.

"Sit down," Stacey said, leading her to a chair in the room.

Cassie sat down awkwardly, her eyes darting around the room. She remembered the man who had left. She looked at the crumpled sheet and pieced it together.

Shifting the seat, she rested her hand on the armchair, "Ahhhh...what is that?"

Cassie felt the substance on the arm of the chair. She shot up, shaking her hand. Whatever it was, it felt weird.

"What? What’s wrong?" Stacey asked, seeing her panic-stricken face.

Cassie held out her hand before Stacey, frowning. When Stacey saw it, she laughed.

She reached for a wet wipe and carefully wiped Cassie’s hand, then the arm of the chair she was sitting in, both arms.

There was no embarrassment on her face as she said, "Sorry, I got carried away earlier."

She groans. "I think I’ll stay in the living room instead."

Like that, another two hours passed. The cleaner finally appeared, and with her came a man who appeared to be in his thirties.

He sent the cleaner to the room and went over to talk to Stacey and Cassie.

He licked his lip, eyes roaming over Stacey’s body.

"Hey Ricky," Stacey said, flopping onto the sofa.

Ricky’s eyes followed her, staring at her breasts as they shook when she fell into the couch.

"Cass, this is Ricky, he’s the landlord."

Cassie looked at the man in front of her. He looked strong, his body firm. If not for the look in his eyes, Cassie would have had a good impression of him.

He was still standing. Not wanting to be rude, since this was their first time meeting each other, she stood.

The moment she stood up, Ricky’s eyes honed in on her backside. He not so discreetly ran a hand over the front of his pants, his eyes glued to her bottom.

Like she was inventory, he looked from her butt to her breasts. The light in his eyes dimmed slightly see that her breasts weren’t as big as her butt.

Cassie could feel his assessing gaze. She pretended she didn’t see it and stretched out her hand, ready to give a handshake.

She also shot Stacey a withering look.

Ricky didn’t stay long. He took another hungry look at both women before leaving.

Cassie pulled Stacey close. She hissed in her ear so the cleaner couldn’t hear, "What kind of landlord is this? Why is he looking at us like that? And you look like you don’t even care."

Laughing softly, Stacey said, "That’s just the way Ricky is. You’ll get used to it. He’s already in his sixties, just ignore him."

"Sixties!" Cassie screamed before she could stop herself.

Laughing more happily now, Stacey said, "I know, right! I legit had him show me his ID before I believed it. I saw baby pictures and everything."

The disbelief in Cassie’s eyes made Stacey cackle.

"Forget about him. It’s almost time for lunch. Come on, I’ll cook for you."

Both ladies headed to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, in apartment 316, Max was woken up by his phone ringing nonstop.

Groggily, he reached for the phone. His bleary eyes didn’t even look at who was calling, just answered the call.

Before he could say hello, a woman’s voice came through.

"Maxxy, where are you? Are you on your way?"

Max let out a breath. He knew the voice; it was Meredith. But didn’t they agree to meet later? He looked at the sun peeking through the curtain. He was sure it wasn’t even noon yet.

"Mer, why are you calling now? Weren’t we supposed to meet later?" He didn’t disguise the huskiness of his voice.

He knew Meredith liked to hear it.

Just as he expected, hearing his voice, she paused. "Maxxy," she said, purring. "Are you sleeping? Did I disturb you?"

"It’s okay, angel. Even if I were sleeping, you’re still on my mind. I was dreaming about that thing I did to you last week."

Her breath hitched, and Max heard it. He smirked.

He took his time getting out of bed. He ruffled his hair as he talked to her.

Stretching, he said, "Angel, I’m going to hang up. I’ll get ready and be there soon. Wear that tail for me today."

A girlish giggle came through the phone. She confirmed before hanging up.

Max yawned as soon as he got off the phone. "Fat bitch," he muttered under his breath.

He dragged himself to the bathroom to get ready. Last night with Beatrice had been hot. She is a MILF he would take any day. But Meredith, she was fat, her folds had folds, but damn does she have stamina.

To Max, she is genuinely a freak of nature; he had never met someone so big who was so strong in that department.

He rubbed his temples. It’s a good thing she has money.

Stepping out of the bathroom, he smelled the aroma. He knew Stacey was cooking. He despised her presence, but her cooking was amazing. He swallowed, sniffing the air.

Grabbing for a shirt, he quickly put on his underwear and pants. He grabbed his essentials and prepared to head next door.
