Chapter 2140: Chapter 2341: Don’t You Dare Tell Anyone!!!
Finally, it’s time to leave this hellish place. He doesn’t even know why he’s unexpectedly in a charitable mood to take Weiwei home today, and thus encountered such a scene. First, he got a background check, then indirectly got forced to go on a blind date, and then he had to cooperate with Weiwei to pretend to be her boyfriend to handle her parents’ pressure. He feels that in this short period, his mind almost reached the brink of collapse.
Seeing it’s finally time to leave, he was almost ready to burst out laughing. He stood up and smiled at Weiwei’s parents, saying, "Then I’ll look forward to Auntie’s feast."
He also said to Weiwei’s father, "See you next time, Uncle."
The elderly couple smiled in succession, and before they could say much more, Hao Jian was already being pulled out by Weiwei. Weiwei’s mom initially wanted to follow Weiwei to see Hao Jian off but was stopped by her dad, who said, "They have some private conversations, why are you poking your nose in?"
Weiwei’s mom heard this and immediately understood, but was annoyed at being lectured by her dad, so she glared at him and said, "Only you understand!"
Weiwei’s dad, knowing her temper from many years of marriage, let her be and said nothing more, folded up the newspaper, and prepared to go to the bedroom to sleep. Meanwhile, Weiwei’s mom glanced towards the door a few times and then went on to tidy up the teacups on the coffee table with a smile.
Truthfully, this Little Hao was pretty good today. In many respects, they were quite satisfied with him; not only was he tall and handsome, but the key was his profession as a teacher. Being a teacher is a stable job, although it doesn’t pay much, she doesn’t have to worry about her daughter’s future life.
Also, Little Hao’s manner of speaking was appropriate. He was a nice young man. Her daughter actually found such a boyfriend. She was quite pleased and had no objections.
......
After pushing Hao Jian out the door, Weiwei got him to change his shoes, closed the door immediately, took a deep breath, and finally returned to her senses and composure. Just a moment ago, she was acting in front of her parents, and the performance nearly broke her. Luckily, she was quick to react and had strong pressure resistance, allowing her to persist until now.

However, once she came outside, she couldn’t bear it and immediately reverted to her original self.
When her mom brought up the boyfriend issue earlier, she knew that with Hao Jian here as an outsider—and a male—if she hadn’t come up with something decisive, her mom would have started nagging endlessly. She knew her mom’s character too well; as soon as there was a decent young man, she’d hold on and start a background check-style blind date.
She really couldn’t stand it, so she looked at Hao Jian, had a spark of inspiration, and came up with the plan to have Hao Jian pretend to be her boyfriend. She thought Hao Jian gave off quite a mature vibe, not at all like a high school student. And her parents didn’t recognize him, thinking he was her friend, which was perfect.
Thus, she impulsively spoke those words without Hao Jian’s agreement, surprising everyone and changing the situation instantly. At this point, she pulled Hao Jian outside, who was now wearing his shoes, looking at her with a mischievous expression.
She solemnly looked at Hao Jian and said, "Alright, we’re out now, so forget everything that happened earlier, got it?"
If Weiwei hadn’t said these words, Hao Jian might have let it slide, treating it as if it never happened and not mentioning it. But Weiwei saying this piqued his interest; since she insisted he forget, he just wanted to remember it even more.
He teased Weiwei, saying, "Oh my, my girlfriend, we’ve only just left the door, barely a meter away, and you’re already turning your back on me? My future mother-in-law even asked me to come over for a meal someday."
Weiwei heard Hao Jian spout such brazen words and immediately shot him a look, saying, "Stop being cheeky. I told you to forget it, so forget it. Furthermore, whether at school or with anyone else, this matter cannot be mentioned. If I catch wind of it, you’d better watch out. The consequences are yours to bear."
Hao Jian didn’t expect Weiwei to threaten him with these words. But it was logical; Weiwei had acted on a spur of the moment to escape her mom’s nagging. Now that the issue was resolved, Weiwei needed to clarify their teacher-student relationship since she’s his homeroom teacher and he’s a student. Otherwise, how would they face each other at school later?
Regarding this matter, Hao Jian didn’t particularly mind, but seeing Weiwei so righteous, he wanted to tease her, saying, "Consequences? I’m curious what those might be? Finding out I actually have a secret identity, a teacher? Haha, an English teacher—what a surprise—even I didn’t know."
"You..." Weiwei knew what Hao Jian meant, so she looked at him and said, "I’ve already said let the matter drop; don’t bring it up again, or I’ll be angry, you hear me?"
Hao Jian smirked, looking mischievous, "Get angry, then. I just want to see you angry."
Weiwei didn’t expect Hao Jian to be so shameless. Anger surged within her, but just as she was about to blow up, the door suddenly opened behind them, and her mom poked her head out, surprised to see them still at the door talking.
Weiwei’s mom exclaimed, "Why are you still here? It’s getting late. Little Hao has to teach tomorrow so don’t keep him up, hurry up and send him off to rest."
After speaking, her mom retracted and shut the door. Weiwei was left with a bitter expression, thinking about how her mom acts like Hao Jian is the only one teaching tomorrow. Meanwhile, she herself has classes all morning for several classes. Her mom simply didn’t care about her daughter at all!
Immediately, Weiwei showed an unpleasant expression, thinking Hao Jian was just her fake boyfriend. If it were real, once he entered the family, she would be completely overshadowed. Even Ding Wei’er’s caring would be taken by Hao Jian. She dared not think about that, strongly believing that not finding a boyfriend was the right decision.
She turned and looked at Hao Jian, pulling him along and walked outside quickly. Just as her mom’s sudden interjection had startled her, they should not stand at the door talking, for fear her mom overhearing. She carefully crafted this tale of a fake boyfriend to pacify her; if her mom found out it was fake, her good days would end quickly, leading to another round of interrogation.

Thus, she dragged Hao Jian to the elevator, pressed the down button, took him to the ground floor, escorted him out of the neighborhood, and fiercely said to Hao Jian, "Listen, you need to quickly digest and forget about this, or just wait and see how I deal with you at school tomorrow."
She was Hao Jian’s homeroom teacher, and if she wanted to ’deal with’ him, there would be plenty of ways to do so. After speaking, she cast him a smug glance. Hao Jian just smiled silently, amused at how different Weiwei was compared to her usual school demeanor. It was quite delightful to witness a different side of her.
He chuckled, too lazy to joke around further, said with a smile, "Alright, alright, stop buzzing in my ears, I get it. Go back now, don’t worry, I’ll make sure no one knows about this tomorrow."
Weiwei finally smiled contentedly upon hearing this, suddenly approached Hao Jian to pat his shoulder, saying, "Alright, the teacher trusts you. You’re a good student of mine and certainly won’t let me down."
With that, she surprisingly said nothing more but gave Hao Jian a knowing look before turning back to leave.
Seeing this, Hao Jian almost couldn’t hold back from cursing, "Damn, you just leave like that? I took you home, pretended to be your boyfriend for your parents, kept your secret, yet you don’t even send me off before walking away!"
At this point, Hao Jian finally understood what kind of creatures women are, truly cold-hearted.
Ultimately, fortunately, he could still hail a cab at this hour. He waited on the street for a while, caught a cab, and returned home. On the ride, he reminisced about today’s events. The experience was quite surreal, unexpectedly witnessing this side of Weiwei, and even pretending to be her boyfriend—a thrilling ordeal indeed.
But before he had time to think further, he arrived at his destination. He paid the fare, got out of the cab, and went upstairs. By then, Liang Xiaohan was already asleep, so he tiptoed inside and didn’t dare turn on the lights, lest he disturb the little girl. She had a light sleep and was easily disturbed, even in another room.
However, as he walked into the living room, he realized, it turns out...
