Chapter 1114: I want to put an end to this long-running drama once and for all

Having appeared a little distance from the house, Idan first asked Ivette about Inessa’s well-being.

"How is she?"

"It’s hard for her, Idan," Ivette replied. "She still can’t come to terms with the truth."

Idan sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"What about Estelle and Amanda? Did you tell them the whole truth?"

"No, not yet," Ivette shook her head.

"What about Ina?"

"So far, we have revealed to her only some details about the identities of Estelle, Amanda, the twins, and the existence of Ryan. She still thinks that Noah and Elias are her cousins," Ivette said.

"And you? How are you feeling?" asked Idan with slight concern.

"I’m fine, don’t worry. I wasn’t as affected by Adrian’s actions as my older sister, so the truth didn’t shock me as much," Ivette replied with a slight smile. "And I’m glad to know that despite all the circumstances, you’re still worried about me."

"It’s obvious," — Idan wanted to reply, but remained silent.

Now that he knew the truth, he understood why Ivette had always been so cold to him. It was only after she confessed and opened his eyes to the truth that her attitude changed.

Idan still considered her his mother, but a slight bitterness of resentment did not leave him. And he couldn’t get rid of that feeling just like that.

After a short silence, Idan turned to his mother with a request:

"Please take Inessa out of her room and gather everyone in the living room."

"Okay," — Ivette replied. "What are you going to do?"

"I want to put an end to this long-running drama once and for all," Idan said with a serious look. "Now I will go after Eleanor and bring her here so that she can personally tell the truth in front of everyone."

He paused for a moment and added:

"And then I will return to the Eastern Continent to meet with ’him’. If he hasn’t left the Dungeon by then, I will personally enter the gate and bring him out."

Ivette sighed heavily.:

"I fully support your decision to let Eleanor tell Amanda, Estelle, and Ryan the truth herself, rather than you and me."

"Moreover, it will benefit Eleanor herself, who has been carrying the burden of this lie on her shoulders for a long time."

Ivette looked at Idan’s beautiful face, at her son. Yes, she still considered him her son.

Most of all, she regretted that she had not been able to open up earlier and get rid of the resentment that tormented her and created a wall between them.

"What about him? What are you going to do with it?" "What is it?" she asked softly, a little uncertainly.

Idan, seeing his mother’s reaction, let out a chuckle.

"I haven’t made up my mind yet, but at least I won’t rest until I knock out some teeth and break some bones."

Ivette was speechless.

She wanted to object, but when she saw Idan’s serious expression, she remained silent.

In the end, Ivette told herself, "He has every right to do this."

An Oasis of Life in the Territory of the Golden Fire Faction

In the depths of the cozy garden, on the territory of the Blake family, a small rift opened. A snow-white fox jumped out of it and, with a flick of its tail, created a portal.

Idan appeared from the portal in his true form.

"Come here, Snow," he called to the fox, gently patting and scratching her fur.

Snow was over the moon with happiness, her fluffy tail continuously darting from side to side, leaving behind barely noticeable gaps in space.

"I knew I could rely on you," Idan said with a smile. "I hope you didn’t get bored while you were here?"

Snow shook her head, confirming that she wasn’t bored.

"Good girl," Idan gently stroked Snow again and did not forget to give her some sweets. Coco is not the only one who should enjoy sweets!

Snow happily accepted the treat and, realizing that Idan had not come here to play with her, stopped distracting him.

Idan stood up and looked around the familiar garden. In the distance, he noticed the outline of a building and headed towards it.

Finding the empty gazebo where he had talked to Eleanor earlier, Idan sat down in his seat and waited for the hostess of this place to appear.

Crackle! Clank!

Meanwhile, inside the manor, there was the sound of dishes breaking and hitting the wall. One of the fragments bounced off and pierced into the culprit’s left arm, leaving a small cut from which scarlet blood flowed.

"Madam!" one of the maids exclaimed, running up to the elderly woman to provide assistance. However, the woman pulled her hand away, gritting her teeth, but after a few seconds she lowered it, allowing the maid to treat the wound.

All this time, the mood of Eleanor, the mistress of this estate, was far from the best. Normally calm and level-headed, she was restless right now.

She had never allowed herself to behave like this, throwing dishes against the wall. But this time, circumstances forced her to do so.

"Bitches!" — Eleanor cursed, scaring her two maids.

The maids looked at each other, and there was genuine shock in their eyes.

They couldn’t understand what had happened to their sophisticated hostess over the past day, that she had started using expressions she had never used before.

Eleanor was seething with anger and at the same time bitterly aware of how weak and old she was. She was already openly mocked by some leftist young women who had been adopted by her family.

A dangerous gleam appeared in Eleanor’s eyes. Frightening thoughts began to form in her middle-aged but still sharp mind.

"If they keep bothering me, I won’t take it anymore. I will make them regret that they stood in my way to the truth about my grandson," Eleanor said with a threat in her voice.

The maids, hearing their mistress’s frightening voice, were confused and did not know what to say. At that moment, they didn’t immediately notice a figure in black appear in the room.

"Madam, be careful!" the two maids exclaimed, covering Eleanor and standing in front of the stranger.

Eleanor, caught off guard, peeked out from behind the maid and saw a stranger.

It was a young man in a black robe with long black hair and bottomless eyes. There was a slight smile on his face.

"I’m sorry for my sudden appearance and for scaring you," — Ned said. After a short silence, he continued:

"Lady Eleanor, my older brother wants to talk to you."

One of the maids turned to Eleanor to see if she knew the man, while the other kept her eyes on the stranger.

"Your older brother?" asked Eleanor, not understanding who he was talking about.

"You know who he is. Only yesterday you were talking to him by your magnificent garden."

The maids still couldn’t comprehend what was happening, but Eleanor’s eyes widened with excitement.

"Big brother is waiting for you in the same place as yesterday," with these words, a cloud of darkness appeared behind Ned, which engulfed him, and he disappeared in front of the three women.

While the maids were confused, Eleanor swiftly moved forward, heading for the exit of the house that led to the garden.

Where, as she hoped, her grandson was waiting for her.
