Chapter 1045: Don’t OUR words mean anything to you?
The Platinum-ranked beasts exchanged glances, and there was no longer the same fury in their eyes. They became serious, thoughtful, even gloomy. They recalled not only what happened here, but also what they saw outside.
Those smug grins of creatures from other worlds… They took away the seeds of the law from those who managed to get to them before. They killed anyone who tried to resist. They looked down on the local beasts and creatures as useless trash that could be thrown into the Dungeon to test someone else’s strength.
And in front of them, a bloody Gatekeeper appeared in the sky. He didn’t finish them off. He didn’t scoff. He didn’t make a spectacle of their deaths.
He simply showed them his absolute superiority and offered them a choice.
The beasts had already realized that it was useless to fight him. But they also understood that beyond this place, they would only be humiliated, used, and perhaps even killed. Here, next to the Gatekeeper, they at least had a chance not to become another victim.
One of the beasts slowly lowered its head, as if breaking its own pride. The second one followed it. Then the third one. Soon, the entire group bowed down in silence before the one they had wanted to tear apart a moment ago.
It wasn’t submission.
It was a choice of lesser horror.
Idan looked down at them calmly, and there was a hint of satisfaction in his scarlet eyes.
“It’s quite his style,” Arabel smiled, watching her husband’s actions, and drew attention to the comments.

…
{He didn’t just fight back… is he raising an army?}
{Was that possible? (⊙_⊙)}
{AWESOME! ヽ(°〇°)ノ}
{Are there twenty Platinum-ranked beasts at his fingertips? This is crazy!}
{No, no one will pass this trial. Mark my words.}
{This is really unexpected.}
…

Meanwhile, outside the Dungeon…
“It’s definitely them,” Irene said with a slight smile, which quickly disappeared when she realized what it could lead to.
“Prina,” she said, and began to share with her what had happened inside the dungeon.
Prina was extremely surprised when she found out that Idan and Arabel were the Gatekeepers of the gate. The very people who put her in her current position. Despite all the suffering and humiliation she had to go through because of them, she was still grateful for what she got in the end, and felt that she owed them to some extent.
But Arabel was also her master’s younger sister.
“Understood. From now on, no one will dare to put pressure on these beasts.”
Prina was not stupid, and without Irene’s request, she guessed what she needed to do. After all, she used to be the Queen of her race and successfully ruled her subjects.
As the minutes passed, the Lord of the Domain of Saints, as well as the Dark Dragoness, couldn’t help but notice the delay of the beasts. They quickly turned to their people to find out from the Awakened Ones what was going on inside the dungeon.
The news that the Mad Vampire King had subdued all 20 platinum-ranked beasts spread quickly.
Of all the six groups, only the beasts were kept in the dark.
They themselves did not understand where their comrades were.
Why haven’t they come out yet?
For a moment, they even thought that those 20 beasts had completed the task, and joy shone in their eyes.
But their joy quickly turned to alarm when they noticed that the hated creatures from other worlds were looming over them.
“Well, well, well, and what do you think you’re doing?”
A clear voice rang out, interrupting the attempt of creatures from other worlds to put pressure on the unsuspecting beasts.
Everyone turned and saw the Prina towering over them.
“Is your memory so decrepit that you’ve forgotten about the truce?”
“Don’t OUR words mean anything to you?”
Prina dragged the Lord of the Domain of Saints and the Dark Dragoness into this matter, mentioning the truce they had established earlier.
“Anyone who dares to harm or threaten them will have to deal with me,” Prina said decisively.
“Are you really sticking up for them?” The Dark Dragoness spoke up.
“Of course,” Prina confirmed with a sincere smile. “Friend, did something happen to your eyes?”
The Dark Dragoness’s smile wavered slightly.
“Don’t you see that I’m wearing the uniform of a local force?” — she said with a slight irony.
“As a “local resident” recognized by this world, I am obligated to protect my own from “outsiders.”
With this admission, the Dark Dragoness’s smile disappeared.
The suspicions that she and the Lord of the Domain of Saints had previously had been confirmed.
The Will of this world does not exert the same pressure on the Prina as it does on them.
This explained Prina’s mocking look from the beginning and how she looked down on them. Their own instincts told them that she was dangerous and possibly superior to both of them.
That was the reason they agreed to a truce. They both felt that they would most likely lose to Prina in an open confrontation.
At least here in this world.
As for their strength in their native land, both were completely convinced of their victory.
“Humph!” the Dark Dragoness snorted in displeasure. The reaction of the Lord of the Domain of Saints, hidden behind the veil of Light, was impossible to understand.
Prina’s intervention put an end to any attempts to put pressure on the Beasts.
“What happened inside the Dungeon is their personal choice, and it’s not for you or us to judge it.”
“If they didn’t get kicked out after being subdued, then it doesn’t violate the rules of the trial.”
“The turn of the beasts remains with them. If any party tries to take away this right, then I will personally take it away from them.”
Saying this loudly so that everyone could hear, Prina returned to the side of the Kingdom with a wide smile.
“Great job,” Irene admired Prina’s actions.
“Heh, it’s as simple as that,” Prina herself was happy to be the center of attention and even more so to shut up her old acquaintances.
