Chapter 1037: The third group.

Inside the Gothic castle suspended by chains in the center of the Arena, Arabel, perched on her husband Idan’s lap, was closely watching Coco’s broadcast.

“Who do you think will appear next?”

“Perhaps this is a Diamond—ranked Earth creature,” Idan suggested, enjoying the warmth of his wife’s body and the feeling of her dragon tail gently wrapping around him.

It was a completely different feeling. Both of them realized that these were only their avatars, and that their appearance was not their true essence, but only an illusion. But even in this short lull, they did not miss the opportunity to be together.

“Can you handle it?” — Arabel turned to Idan.

“Of course,” Idan did not doubt his own abilities. He was fully prepared to fight. There were several blood balls circling next to the throne, which he created from the blood of previously defeated beasts. For a vampire, blood is a source of strength. The more blood he has and the better it is, the more opportunities open up for him.

Dong!

A gong sounded, announcing the arrival of a new group.

As Idan had predicted, only one creature appeared this time.

“Diamond rank,” Arabel frowned.

Even if the rank was limited to Platinum, a Diamond-ranked creature was still at a completely different level than a true Platinum-ranked one.

“Well, let’s see who we have here.” Idan lifted Arabel from his lap, and as soon as her tail released him, he gently sat her down in his place.

“I’ll be quick.”

With these words, Idan headed for the entrance to the castle, and balls of blood flew after him.

The new guest still had a 30-second safe time window.

Going out to the gate, Idan turned his gaze to the left, where he noticed an imposing man in the distance at the edge of the forest edge.

“The Creature of the Earth.”

As expected, if the two previous groups died quickly without doing anything, then this time they decided to send the one with the best protection.

“Let’s see how good his defense is,” Idan said, picking up one of the blood balls. A slit appeared on both of his palms, from which his own blood began to flow out, merging with the ball.

Then Idan clapped his hands and, aiming with one hand and pulling back with the other, as if pulling a bowstring, created a bloody arrow.

“Hmm… lightning or Madness?” he asked himself.

“Let’s go all out at once,” he decided, and pouring the energy of madness into the blood arrow, he simultaneously activated {ghost stats}. This time, he had enhanced the {Strength} stats, almost doubling them, which was already beyond the capabilities of a Diamond-ranked creature. And strengthening the arrow with the energy of madness increased its piercing ability even more.

There was a brief lull. And as soon as the thirty-second window of time expired, Idan, holding his breath, released the power contained in his hands. The blood arrow whizzed towards its target, the creature of the earth.

The creature of the earth appeared and stood like a rock, waiting for the gatekeepers to attack. Particles of sand and earth were already swirling around him.

His reaction was lightning fast, and he noticed the arrow as soon as Idan released it. The ground around him began to move, creating a solid defense that he thought would be able to protect him.

But he was wrong.

The blood arrow, leaving behind a red plume, covered the distance in the blink of an eye. The arrow easily penetrated the protection and then the very creature of the earth. He didn’t even have time to realize what had happened before his vision went dark and his body turned into bloody mincemeat.

Boom!

There was a deafening roar, and the forest behind the place where the Earth creature stood a second ago was destroyed.

“Fuyu.” Idan was shocked by his attack.

The destruction that followed was already beyond the capabilities of a Diamond—ranked attack, once again confirming that “Ghost Stats” is a cheat ability if used correctly.

“I wonder if his defense would have withstood this attack if his rank hadn’t been limited to Platinum?” wondered Idan. His curiosity was piqued, and he wanted to know if this attack could kill a full-fledged, unlimited Diamond-ranked creature.

In less than a minute, a Diamond-ranked Earth Creature with one of the best defenses was thrown out of the dungeon.

“Did he lose?”

“How is this possible?”

Those who knew him and his defenses well stared at him in amazement. Even if his rank was suppressed, he was still considered one of those with the best defense, and his defeat happened so quickly.

“What kind of creature guards this gate?”

“Is it even possible to defeat such a creature?”

For the first time, a note of doubt appeared among the audience.

Meanwhile, the Awakened Ones watched the broadcast in silent tension. Even the active chat went silent for a moment. Everyone was perplexed by what they had witnessed.

Then everything exploded.

——————-

{WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?}

{Holy shit! Did you see that destruction?}

{He was actually turned into bloody mincemeat, just like in the anime!}

{Aaaaa… What kind of attack is this?}

{Who are these Gatekeepers?}

{I want to see who it is!}

{Awesome!}

——————-

The broadcast chat was once again drowned in the comments.

“To kill a Diamond-ranked creature with one blow, even though it is limited by the limits of our world…” Irene, Arslan, Milena, and the other members of the Kingdom’s Guild also began to doubt the difficulty of this trial.

Despite three attempts, so far no one has been able to see exactly what the Gatekeepers look like.

“Next,” — Prina said with a smile, turning her gaze to the Lord of the Domain of Saints, reminding her that now it was their turn to act.

“All that remains is to deal with the forces of Light and Darkness, and then it will be the Kingdom’s turn…” Arabel said, settling back into Idan’s lap and wrapping her dragon tail around him. She looked up from the broadcast and looked at Idan.

“Who do you think will come in from ours?”

“Sister, one platinum—ranked beast and five Golden-ranked Awakened Ones,” Idan guessed without hesitation. “I would bet on Arslan, Milena, Yulaya and two more.”

“Hmm…” — Arabel nodded, agreeing with her husband.

Seeing that it was the turn of the Creatures of Light, she asked:

“Me or you?”

“Let’s see who they send,” Idan suggested, watching the broadcast carefully. “If they are Diamond-ranked creatures, we will perform together. And if it’s Platinum, then you go.”
