Cloud stared at Jiang Cheng, tears suddenly streaming down, as Jiang Cheng took off his coat and draped it over Cloud’s shoulders. "Don’t cry, I’ll get you out of here."

Jiang Cheng patted Cloud’s shoulder. Cloud kept sobbing with swollen eyes and couldn’t speak a word. Jiang Cheng then noticed how low the temperature in the tunnel was, likely below zero. Cloud was dressed so lightly it must have been tough being here, and Jiang Cheng felt a pang of sorrow. He wanted to ask Cloud many questions, but seeing her exhausted state stopped him. "Jiang, how did you know I was here?" Cloud asked with red eyes.

Jiang Cheng noticed that Cloud’s way of addressing him had changed, and his heart was stirred by this new term of address. "I found the distress signal you sent."

Jiang Cheng handed her a packet of tissues as he glanced at Cloud.

"Luckily, I had George with me to help send the signal." Cloud pointed to the robot in the distance.

Then Jiang Cheng noticed George was also here. It seemed Cloud must have come here after the symposium ended.

"Jiang, I really don’t know what’s happened to me or why I’m here. When I came to, I was already here. Do you believe me?" Cloud looked at Jiang Cheng as she spoke.

"I believe you. You indeed have no reason to be here," Jiang Cheng replied. "That’s great, Jiang, you actually believe me! This is how it happened: after the symposium, I planned to go home with my dad, but suddenly, as if under control, I came on my own to the Qi Family entrance, slipping in through their side door. I was so scared. I don’t recall anything else until I found myself here when I woke up," Cloud said, looking at Jiang Cheng with a hint of despair, fearing he wouldn’t believe her.

Jiang Cheng glanced at Cloud and patted her head. "I believe you." He felt that though Cloud’s story sounded incredulous, his intuition told him she wasn’t lying.

"But I found myself unable to get out, Jiang, so I had George send the distress signal. And you came so quickly!" As Cloud spoke, her eyes reddened again.

"Don’t worry, I’ll get you out of here."

Jiang Cheng looked around the stone chamber and noticed that there were inscriptions on the walls. He moved closer, thinking there might be a clue for getting out.

What caught Jiang Cheng off guard was that the inscriptions described how the purple stone could transform the body! Through these methods, purple stones can be absorbed by the body. At this moment, Jiang Cheng confirmed these words were in the script of Li Country. It seemed people in Li Country were indeed skilled in using purple stones for body transformation.

"Jiang, what are you looking at?" Cloud walked to Jiang Cheng’s side and asked.

"I’ve looked at these inscriptions with no new findings," Cloud confessed, watching Jiang Cheng poring over the wall.

"These scripts might be from another country," Jiang Cheng said.

"Is it Li Country?" Cloud asked.

Jiang Cheng was surprised; he thought Cloud shouldn’t know about Li Country, so he hadn’t planned to tell her.

"Do you know about Li Country?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"Wow, Jiang, I want to know why you know about it," Cloud looked at Jiang Cheng with admiration.

"I learned about it not long ago," Jiang Cheng said. He didn’t want to reveal more, as the more one knows about Li Country, the more perilous it gets.

But Jiang Cheng’s answer sparked an unusual thought in Cloud. To her, Jiang Cheng fulfilled all her girlhood fantasies — young, accomplished, knowledgeable, and speaking in a cool, assured manner, making her feel safe.

Jiang Cheng was unaware of Cloud’s thoughts and continued using his system’s advantage by studying the methods inscribed on the wall. Finding himself thrilled as if he discovered a new continent, he memorized the methods within ten minutes, yet still failed to uncover a way out.

"Jiang, did you find anything?" Cloud asked, seeing Jiang Cheng’s excited expression after examining the whole wall, thinking maybe they could leave.

"No escape method yet, but I’ll try something." Jiang Cheng had seen the term "Divine Sense Emergence" inscribed and wondered if it could open the door.

"Cloud, I’ll try a method later, but meanwhile, don’t speak. Whatever happens, don’t panic." Jiang Cheng feared that when performing Divine Sense Emergence, Cloud would surely become anxious upon seeing him motionless.

"Jiang, don’t do anything dangerous!" Cloud suddenly became anxious and grabbed Jiang Cheng’s arm.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine," Jiang Cheng reassured Cloud’s worries with a smile.

Jiang Cheng felt a bit frustrated, realizing his current formless nature precluded physical interaction, and so returned to consciousness within his body.

Cloud watched Jiang Cheng suddenly move. "Jiang, what... what happened?" Cloud nervously asked, having seen Jiang Cheng suddenly become motionless, which frightened her greatly.

"Don’t worry, I’m okay. I just tried the method written on the wall but couldn’t get out." Jiang Cheng confessed, slightly deflated.

"Jiang, it’s alright. Your safety is the most important. I was really scared, fearing I’d be alone again." Cloud spoke while looking at Jiang Cheng.

"Don’t worry, I’ll surely get you out of here."

Jiang Cheng checked the time; it’s already late night. "Cloud, it’s late now, why don’t you rest for a bit,"

With that, Jiang Cheng retrieved a thermos from the Jiezhi Bracelet, placing it beside Cloud, "With this, it won’t feel cold."

"What about you, Jiang, you’re tired too, take a rest," Cloud looking at Jiang Cheng said, suddenly feeling this place wasn’t so scary or cold, draped in Jiang Cheng’s coat.

"I’ll keep looking for a way out," Jiang Cheng felt an urgency to exit as soon as possible.

Cloud glanced at Jiang Cheng, quietly smiling, feeling secure with him around, she mused.

Meanwhile, as morning arrived, Qi Rongfeng went to Jiang Cheng’s room and couldn’t find him. Observing the unslept bed and tidy surroundings, yet noting the open window, Qi Ruofeng grew anxious, hurrying next door to Zhao Shuai’s residence, and knocked.

"Who is it?" Zhao Shuai’s voice, still groggy with sleep, responded.
