Chapter 935: Part 2: Fighting against the higher tier beasts

4th Zone - Special Base

Jeremy Night once again prepared to exploit the weakness. When the beast got closer, he followed the same method. Though the beast was prepared, it couldn’t block his path.

He came to the left side of its body and found the hidden injury spots. He made a move. When his punch connected with the scales, the vibrations were once again transferred to the injured area.

He then immediately withdrew his right hand and struck the same area with his left hand.

Smash!

The left fist, carrying vibrations, landed a blow on the same injured spot. This all happened within seconds.

Pfff!

The next second, blood gushed forth from the injury. The blood spurted out and dyed the ground with blood.

Hiss!

The snake beast once again rolled over in pain. This time, another hidden injury was targeted, and it had become worse. The beast was not stupid.

It could tell what the human was doing. It had already suffered blood loss on the other side. Now its left side was bleeding.

Jeremy Night felt a sense of crisis. He thought the beast could use an ability next. He decisively moved backward and created a large gap.

The Armoured Rhino gave chase, and so did the other beasts. They were coming at him at the same time.

His eyes turned cold. He used the starlight thread. Hundreds of thin threads covered the path like a spider’s web.

He turned around and decisively fled from the place. The armored rhino collided with the silk threads. The threads were so thin they were not visible to the rhino.

Cut!

The starlight thread cut into the skin and flesh of the beasts. Hundreds of red lines appeared on the beast’s body.

The next second, blood flowed out from several red lines. The armored rhino understood it was injured. In pain, the beast moved forward at a fast pace.

Pfff!

Yet the starlight thread went deeper into the flesh, making the injury worse. The red lines widened further.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the wound. The armoured rhino made a low roar in pain. This time it moved backward and was able to get out of the starlight thread trap.

Swoosh!

The armoured rhino fled from the place. The higher-tier snake beast disappeared into the wilderness.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night was being chased by the Twin-Tail Lizard. After crossing some distance, he turned around to face the lizard beast.

He drew his blade this time and covered it with the starlight threads. He gripped the handle and pointed the blade toward the ground.

Swoosh!

The massive beast was over 5 meters in size. It was taller than the snake beast. He spotted the twin tails; they seemed to be carrying some firepower.

The Twin-Tail Lizard Beast saw the human stop running. Instead, its eyes were on the weapon in the human’s hand. The beast was an intelligent one.

It looked down at the human because it had seen through the strength of the human. The next second, it made an unexpected move.

Swoosh!

It swept its tail toward the human.

Jeremy Night’s eyes followed each action of the lizard. When the tail moved, it was caught by his eyes.

"Explosive Steps"

He used the movement method at the last moment. Force generated beneath his feet, and by using that force, he moved backward.

Boom!

The twin tails missed the target. They struck the empty air, yet it made a booming sound. If the tails were to strike any other Beast Tamer, the person would have been crushed.

The lizard beast was surprised. By this time, the hyenas had caught up, one of them charging at the human without leaving any gap.

Slash!

Jeremy Night was familiar with the hyenas. He used his second eye power to target the weak spot again. The hyena tried to attack him.

He evaded the front and slashed at its side.

Cut!

The blade cut through the skin. The starlight-filled blade swept across the flesh. The cut went deeper, hurting the internals.

Jeremy withdrew the blade and moved backward.

Pfff!

A long red line appeared on the side of the beast’s body. Blood spurted from the wound.

Screech!

The hyena beast moved away from the place. It went back to the pack. The other hyenas became vigilant and didn’t target him.

Seeing that the beasts were not moving forward, Jeremy Night turned around and left the place. He was going away from his mission destination.

He decided to return in the morning. It didn’t take long for him to find a secluded spot—a small crevice between the bedrocks.

It was large enough for him to go inside. He then stayed inside the crevice space until morning.

When the daylight appeared and the visibility became clear, he exited the space. He used his eye power to check the surroundings.

He confirmed that the surroundings were clear. He then resumed the journey, using the same path from last night.

Soon, he came across the battle site where he had slashed the hyena with his blade. On the ground, he saw the blood was still wet.

He then continued moving along the path. Next, he saw the starlight thread trap. It was no longer intact and was broken.

Seeing the blood on the starlight threads, he was not surprised; he had last seen the armoured rhino run into it.

Some of the starlight threads must have etched into its skin. He then reached out and touched the starlight threads.

The next second, he thought of absorbing the starlight threads. The threads moved back into his body and settled inside his mental zone.

Buzz!

The unknown beast egg shook up and absorbed the blood traces.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise. He hadn’t expected the unknown beast egg to absorb the blood traces.

He then collected his thoughts and continued his journey. He still needed to reach the mountain mentioned in the description.

He didn’t stop anywhere but increased his speed. He figured the morning time would be clear, with no beast activity.
