Chapter 910: Part 2: 2nd Mission (Special Base)

4th Zone, Special Base

Jeremy Night reached them and was about to walk past them. The 5 Beast Tamers looked at him as well. They were taken aback.

They never expected to meet Jeremy Night here. Yes, they knew him. He is the only Tier-3 Beast Tamer in the base.

They knew the young man could fight across Tiers. So, they didn’t say anything and continued to walk forward.

Jeremy Night was surprised. He had thought they would make some passing comments. But it didn’t happen like that.

He shook his head and continued the journey. Soon, he spotted the first hybrid dog beast. It was a Tier-4 Beast. The mission didn’t mention anything about the Tiers.

So, he thought it wouldn’t be a problem to hunt down the Tier-4 Beast. The mission’s intention was to reduce the population of the dog beasts.

Roar!

The Tier-4 dog beast sensed the prey. It saw the human Beast Tamer get closer. At first, the beast was alert. Then, it sensed the strength of the Beast Tamer.

Knowing that this human Beast Tamer was weak compared to other human Beast Tamers, the next second, its demeanor changed.

The dog beast opened its mouth wide. A sharp row of teeth was revealed. The dog beast was interested in hunting down the human Beast Tamer all of a sudden.

It didn’t inform the others. It wanted to enjoy the human flesh alone. The next second, the dog beast bolted out from the place alone.

The size of the beast was over 2 meters.

Jeremy Night unsheathed his blade. He didn’t cover the blade in starlight power. He let the beast get closer.

He used his eye power. He calculated the exact distance and direction. When the dog beast leaped at him,

"Shadow Slash"

He then executed the move. He drew the blade in one motion before slashing fast at the beast.

Pfff!

The blade cut through the neck of the beast. Almost half of the neck was severed. The blood spurted out from the wound like a torrential rain.

Jeremy then made a reverse strike. This time, the blade cut and severed the blood vessel. The dog beast dropped dead on the ground.

He then severed the head completely before storing it inside the ring. He then looked at the rest of the corpse.

A good idea came to his mind. He knew that it’s rare for the dog beast to roam alone. He wanted to see where the blood would draw other beasts.

If there are other dog beasts nearby, then they will come here for sure.

He then found a place and began to wait. He used his eye power. It didn’t take long for 2 more beasts to appear. They were Tier-4 hybrid dogs.

Upon seeing them, he smiled. His idea worked out.

Instead of using the blade, he extended his hand. He wrapped his index finger in starlight thread. He then extended the starlight thread in a straight line.

It extended for a couple of inches.

Roar!

The 2 hybrid dogs showed the same reaction. They bolted out from the place to attack. They ignored the corpse of their kin.

Instead, the beasts set their gaze on the weak human. It’s rare for a weak human to appear here. They wanted to use this opportunity.

The beasts weren’t alerted after seeing the corpse of their kin. Instead, their minds were overtaken by bloodthirstiness.

Jeremy used his eye power. He could accurately spot the details. He then used the second eye power to locate their blood vessels.

When one of the beasts leaped at him, he found the beast was slow in his eyes. He shifted his body weight. He then used his index finger to stab the blood vessels.

Stab!

Like a needle, the starlight thread pierced the skin of the beast before going deeper, severing the blood vessels.

It was all done in one motion. Jeremy then withdrew the thread and targeted the next beast. The second beast was much closer to him.

So, he stabbed the forehead of the beast with the starlight thread. The thread felt no resistance. It pierced the forehead and came into contact with the skull.

Puchak!

Blood flowed out from the first beast. It was bleeding. The second beast’s skull cracked, and its brain was punctured. It lost its life on the spot.

The skull couldn’t withstand the power of the starlight. The first beast was retiring. It was ready to flee.

Swoosh!

The next second, he rushed to the side of the beast. Then, he severed the head of the beast in one slash. The decapitated head rolled over the ground. He then collected the head into the storage ring.

He went to the side of the second beast and did the same. So far, he had collected three heads. But they were only Tier-4 beasts.

So, he decided to kill Tier-5 beasts to show his strength to others. He then resumed the journey. He followed the footprints of the previous beasts.

By following those footprints, he went further deep into the wilderness. Finally, he saw a group of 6 Tier-5 hybrid dogs.

Roar!

Upon seeing him, they charged at him. He unsheathed his blade and covered the blade in starlight power.

He used his second eye power. He didn’t use any moves this time. He simply set his gaze on the beasts.

Cut!

When the first beast got closer, he calculated the speed and direction of the beast before swinging the blade at it.

The blade came striking fast before cutting through the beast’s body. He made the cut deeper before withdrawing the blade.

Pfff!

Blood spurted out. He ignored it and slashed at the coming beasts. The blade in his hand danced before cutting through the bodies of the beasts.

It was not a blade move, but random cuts. But these random cuts left behind deep wounds. Blood gushed forth from their wounds.

As time passed, he switched to the Shadow Slash. From random cuts to a single slash, he easily injured the rest of the hybrid dogs.

Their flesh defense broke under the starlight power. After killing all of them, he severed their heads and stored them inside the storage ring.
