Chapter 206: Thor’s Power [I]
Silas’s Gold Core burned like a dying star inside his chest.
His willpower fought a brutal internal war against the divine gravity pressing down on his skull.
Silas’s heavy combat boots were planted firmly into the melted glass with his leg muscles bulging to the point of tearing, his veins pressing thick and blue against his neck as he forced his head to turn a fraction of an inch to look at the blonde executioner.
He could move but he found it incredibly hard to do so.
Every single millimeter of movement cost him an astronomical amount of physical stamina. His lungs burned and his vision swam with dark spots.
’This...’ Silas thought, his golden-ringed eyes trembling as he stared at Thor’s relaxed uncaring posture. ’This is the actual terrifying difference between a Lord and a true Deity.’
The Lord in that moment realized in that suffocating microsecond that they were leagues, oceans, entire galaxies apart.
It wasn’t a matter of training harder or finding better skill tomes...
The gap was so fundamentally immense that most people could not even comprehend matching Thor’s baseline passive power in a hundred lifetimes.
She wasn’t even flexing her aura... she was just standing there, and her mere existence was crushing Lords into the dirt.
If Silas ever wanted to reach that ultimate peak, his Mythic Gold Core wasn’t a trump card... it was merely the starting line.
Beside the terrifying thunder god, the bureaucratic Druid tapped her wooden staff against the glass crater with a sharp sound.

"Executioner Thor," the Druid instructed, her voice was strictly professional and completely unaffected by the crushing atmospheric pressure. "Please proceed by protocol. You must ask the target the two administrative questions before carrying out the termination warrant... We need this formally recorded for the Council archives."
Thor let out an exasperated sigh, her braided blonde hair crackling with stray arcs of blue static.
She rolled her shoulders, clearing her throat and suddenly looking incredibly serious as she prepared to officially address the rogue god.
She stood tall, her face setting into an expression of grim unyielding justice.
Then, she paused.
Thor blinked her bright electrical blue eyes.
She slowly bent over at the waist, leaning her head down toward the significantly shorter Druid, completely breaking her intimidating posture.
"Hey," Thor whispered loudly, her serious executioner persona entirely vanishing into cluelessness. "What the hell were the questions again? Was I supposed to bring a paper or something?"
The Druid closed her glowing white eyes.
She reached up with her free hand, violently pinching the bridge of her nose as she let out a long suffering sigh that echoed across the quiet desert.
’Why... What am I even doing with my life at this point?’
She had spent millennia studying the sacred texts of the world trees, only to end up babysitting an airheaded hammer-wielding thunder god who treated cosmic bureaucracy like a tedious tavern chore.
"Question one," the Druid whispered back through tightly gritted teeth, her patience hanging by a microscopic thread. "Ask the person their formal name and their divine title."
"Right! I knew that!" Thor perked up instantly, her serious expression snapping right back into place as she stood up straight and pointed her massive war hammer directly at the Sand God.
"You there! Dirt-man!" Thor commanded loudly with her voice booming like a war horn. "State your formal name and your divine title for the official Deity Council record! And speak clearly!"
Ititus sneered, his four golden arms crossing over his massive sculpted chest.
He actively welcomed the opportunity to hear his own voice echo across the realm. If he was going to execute this arrogant upstart, he would do so after properly announcing his glory though he already did so before.
"I am Ititus!" he proclaimed, his voice booming across the desert, instantly launching into a massive glaze fest. "I am the God of the Eternal Sands! The Architect of the Glass Mountains! The Sovereign of the Endless Dunes! I am the Slayer of the Primordial Crimson Dragon! The master of a million shifting grains! The Lord who shaped the western continents! I am the undying storm, the heat of the sun, the—"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, that’s enough," Thor interrupted him instantly right in the middle of his glaze fest, completely waving off his legendary titles with her free hand like a bored bartender cutting off a rambling drunk.
Ititus’s jaw snapped shut with an audible click.
His golden eyes twitched violently with murderous fury at being so casually disrespected twice in the span of two minutes.
Thor leaned back down toward the exasperated Druid. "What’s the next one?"
"Ask him why they had violated the rules," the Druid supplied tiredly, not even bothering to open her eyes.

Thor nodded, turning her electrical blue eyes back to the complaining thoroughly pissed-off Sand God.
"Question two!" Thor shouted, pointing her hammer at the complaining man. "Why exactly did you violate the Sovereign rules by trying to directly murder these mortal challengers in your Secret Realm without a proper trial?!"
Ititus’s four arms dropped to his sides, the golden sand making up his body aggressively flaring with terrifying, localized heat that began to melt the ground beneath his boots.
"I defied those pathetic bureaucratic rules because I am a true Deity!" Ititus roared, his voice shaking the cracked amber sky above them. "I am a god of the old world! Some weak paper-pushing council of modern gods cannot tell me what to do in my own Secret Realm! These mortals are nothing but parasitic insects! They exist solely to feed my core!"
Ititus pointed a massive flawless golden finger directly at Thor, a sadistic, deeply arrogant smirk crossing his face as he openly declared his intentions.
"And regardless of whatever administrative nonsense you spout right now, executioner," Ititus threatened, his divine aura expanding violently outward, pushing against the crushing weight of Thor’s gravity. "Once you have turned around and left this realm, I will be brutally murdering every single one of these mortals for the sheer disrespect they showed me in my Vault! I will grind their bones into my sands!"
Thor didn’t flinch at the threat and she didn’t look intimidated.
Instead, a slow dangerous smile stretched across Thor’s flawless face. The static electricity in the air violently multiplied with the ozone stench becoming suffocating.
"Once I leave?" Thor repeated, her voice dropping into a low vibrating rumble of atmospheric thunder that sent shivers down Silas’s spine. "You delusional, fragile pile of sand... you will not be leaving this realm alive today."
Thor slowly lowered her war hammer, her blue eyes locking onto Ititus with absolute, unyielding righteous fury.
"I am generally not one for reading the rulebooks," Thor admitted casually, cracking her silver-armored neck with a sharp pop. "But you have directly threatened the innocent lives of Midgard’s people and that... that is more than enough to make me incredibly mad."
Thor was quite deeply intrigued by Midgard.
Her father, the All-Father Odin, had come from there. He had casually called it ’Earth’ in his initial stories, but ’Midgard’ was how the realm was officially known over in the golden towering halls of Asgard.
Midgard was a chaotic, beautiful, messy little blue sphere. It had incredible, violent entertainment, but mostly, it had food!
The mortals down there knew how to properly roast a massive haunch of boar.
They knew how to brew thick, dark ale that actually burned the throat, unlike the overly sweet, delicate meads the Elves of Alfheim constantly tried to push on her.
Thor loved Midgardian feasts. She loved the roaring fires, the loud taverns, and the unbridled resilience of humanity.
And last but absolutely not least, it was her Home world.
It didn’t matter if her father had married a deity to conceive her. It didn’t matter that she lived in a cosmic palace.
She was still technically part Midgardian. The blood of Earth, the stubborn unyielding grit of humanity ran directly through her immortal veins.
Which was exactly why she was going to fight for them today... She wasn’t going to let some washed-up narcissistic pile of sentient dirt murder her people just to stroke his own ego.
"What exactly are you going to do to me, little thunder-girl?" Ititus teased her, mocking her protective stance.
He raised all four of his massive arms with massive vortexes of black razor-sharp sand violently generating in his open palms. "You think you can execute me in my own domain?! I am immortal!"
Sensing the catastrophic shift in Thor’s aura, the bureaucratic Druid didn’t hesitate for a single microsecond.
The Druid violently slammed the butt of her wooden staff directly into the vitrified glass of the crater.
"Aegis of the Council!" the Druid chanted rapidly.
FWOOSH!
A massive translucent green barrier of pure, high-tier nature magic instantly erupted outward.

The spherical dome completely encapsulated the Druid, Silas, Aeliana, Valerius, Seraphina, Harper, Elora, and the rest of the surviving Lords, entirely sealing them safely away from the impending blast zone.
The Druid knew exactly what horrific world-ending things the Daughter of Odin was capable of when she stopped holding back, and she wasn’t about to let the mortal witnesses get vaporized as collateral damage.
Once the protective barrier was safely established behind her, sealing the Midgardians away from the fallout, Thor grinned.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Thor simply squeezed the handle of her weapon and swung her hammer in a casual, one-handed horizontal arc from fifty yards away.
The acceleration of the iron head completely tore the fabric of space.
The resulting sonic boom was so massive that the shockwave visibly rippled through the air, completely shattering the massive vortexes of sand generating in Ititus’s hands before they could even be launched.
Ititus was not even aware of the exact microsecond he started flying.
One moment, the Sand God was standing tall, arrogantly preparing to cast a desert-consuming sandstorm with a cruel sneer on his flawless face.
The next moment, a terrifying imperceptible blur of silver and blue lightning connected perfectly with his golden torso.
KRA-SHATTER!
Ititus felt an impossible world-ending force slam into his existence.
He realized, in a state of paralyzing shock, that he was currently flying backward through the air at Mach 20.
’What... what just happened?!’ Ititus panicked wildly in his thoughts with his divine consciousness violently spinning as he soared through the air as the horizon blurring into a smear of amber and black. ’I couldn’t even see her move! Where are my arms?! Why can’t I feel my arms?!’
He tried to look down at his perfect four-armed golden body to assess the damage.
He couldn’t.
His head was completely gone.
Hell, his entire physical body was completely gone.
The blunt-force trauma of Thor’s hammer swing hadn’t just broken his physical form... it had instantaneously atomized his massive eight-foot golden sand body into microscopic scattered dust!
The shockwave had literally deleted his physical body from reality in a fraction of a second.
Only his true, glowing, spherical Realm Core remained, completely exposed and violently shooting backward across the desert like a skipped stone.
The core crashed brutally through five massive sand dunes, carving a mile-long trench of vitrified glass before finally coming to a halt far away from the initial impact site.
’What is this monster?!’ Ititus screamed internally with terror flooding his soul for the first time in ten thousand years. ’She just deleted my entire physical body with a single swing! She didn’t even use a spell! She just hit me!’
Hovering over the ruined desert dunes, the naked, glowing Realm Core frantically pulsed with desperate energy.

It aggressively pulled upon the millions of tons of ambient sand surrounding it, desperate to reestablish a physical anchor.
FWOOSH!
Within three seconds, Ititus reformed himself. The desert sand violently coalesced, rushing upward to rebuild his flawless, four-armed golden physique.
But he was no longer arrogant.
He was panting with his golden chest heaving as his eyes were wide with panic. Ititius stared across the miles of desert at the blonde woman who was casually resting her hammer back on her shoulder, looking completely bored.
"Is that it?!" Thor yelled across the miles with her voice echoing like rolling thunder. "I thought you said you were a god!"
Ititus roared in absolute fury, his divine pride violently overriding his newfound terror.
KRA-KRA-THOOM!
The Sand God slammed all four of his massive golden palms directly into the desert floor.
He didn’t hold back a single drop of his remaining divine mana.
The entire tectonic plate of the Secret Realm groaned in agony as the desert actively rose up to answer his call.
"Die, you filth!" Ititus shrieked, blood vessels of glowing light bulging on his golden neck.
