Chapter 149: Request
A single Star Energy Pill pushed the fusion to ten percent. If he wanted to reach complete fusion, he would need nine more.....
It was simple math. No rocket science.
However, although the problem was simple, that did not mean solving it would be simple as well.
Lukas’s thoughts drifted as his eyes carried a hazy look. He knew for sure that Mark would have more pills in store.
If the Grandmaster Pill Maker was willing to refine them, producing nine pills was going to be a difficult task.
He understood this very quickly.
The next moment, he shook his head. Now was not the time. First, he had to focus on stabilizing this state before it got the better of him.
Saying those words, he sat cross-legged, letting the blowing wind gently caress his face.
The White Knight Guild leader, Natasha, was one of the top powerhouses of the White Knight Settlement. The number of people who visited her daily was mind-boggling, but the small garden filled with roses remained serene, maintaining its calm atmosphere.
For Lukas, days continued to pass in silence.
In the blink of an eye, one month passed without anyone realizing it. During that quiet period, Lukas managed to get the fusion progression all the way to thirty percent.
It turned out Mark was not completely useless. When Lukas inquired whether he could help procure pills, after thinking for a moment, Mark readily agreed.

That guy is really capable... Lukas muttered under his breath.
He had to admit Mark was truly capable of procuring such important items.
He was just thinking when he felt a powerful presence approaching closer.
Who...?
Lukas immediately stopped what he was doing and turned to see who it was. Once he saw who it was, Lukas instantly calmed down.
Step by step, Natasha’s figure moved closer, a smile on her face, as she spotted Lukas sitting at his favorite spot.
Lukas eagerly greeted her.
"So, you finally got time to visit me? How is it, is the teleportation formation finally working?"
For some reason, when Natasha heard Lukas’s words, her face fell. Then she sighed, as if the only thing he ever thought about was the teleportation formation.
However, the next moment, she shook her head. She had never intended to move things fast and had left everything to nature.
Lukas waited for her response, but when she fell silent, he had a feeling there was probably nothing good to hear.
"Come on, you’re the White Knight Guild leader. Get them to work faster..."
Natasha turned to look at him and asked, feeling curious, "Missing your family that much? Just be patient. Fixing the teleportation formation is not easy. Other than the mechanical challenge, we also need to do some repairs as well. Only when we repair the communication formation from the other side can we really turn it on again."
Lukas simply ignored what she was saying and asked the important question.
"Just tell me how long do I have to wait for it? And will it still take one month for fusion?"
The two talked for a while. Although their relationship had been awkward at first, after entering the Sword Inheritance Ground, the two had formed a strange balance. Their interactions were no longer as hostile as before, and in fact, they had grown closer.
Lukas was frustrated after all. Once he could return to Earth, not only would he be out of danger, but he could also easily access Star Energy Pills.
The rewards flowing out of such a situation were endless. If one had enough money, they could procure almost anything.

And still, now it was time for him to pay back.
"Hm... do you remember the three wishes you promised me?"
Natasha’s smile shifted for a moment. Then she asked with a curious look, "What about it? Have you really thought about it?"
She was also curious about what Lukas would request. From time to time, when she had free time, she wondered about it too. What if he requested something absurd? How would she react then?
Filled with anticipation, she waited for Lukas to speak.
Lukas did not waste time. Seeing her waiting for him to speak, he quickly stated his request.
Upon hearing his words, Natasha fell silent.
"Seven Star Energy Pills? Hmm... that is indeed going to be difficult."
Lukas’s face fell when he heard her response. He thought she was not going to help him.
To be completely honest, he did not want to ask her about the pills at all, after how cautiously he had worked to gather the ingredients.
Of course I can arrange the Star Energy Pills, although they are pricey, but my White Knight Guild has a few in reserve... but the real question is, why should I give them to you?
Lukas could tell what she was thinking, and he could somewhat understand.
It was not like she was unwilling to help. It was just that there was not enough connection between him and the White Knight Guild.
While he waited, Natasha continued to speak.
"Each Star Energy Pill would count as me fulfilling one of your wishes. With three pills, I would have already met my promise."
And for the other four pills, you would have to work for them.
Natasha’s eyes never left Lukas, watching carefully for any change in his expression.
Just the first condition alone caught Lukas completely off guard. How could she equate his freedom of choice with pills, making him work for the remaining four?
Lukas was caught completely off guard, never expecting something like this.
However, even though he was surprised, he did not utter a single word.
The reason was simple. He simply had no choice.
Although it might have looked as if he was completely out of danger, in reality, at this time Lukas was walking on a tightrope.
Even if he forgot about the hatred from the Star Mother and the mysterious force that was still lurking behind the Death God inheritance, there was one more thing he needed to worry about.
The Von Maximus Family.

After he killed Kaiser Von Maximus, he and the family were already enemies. There was no going back.
Now that he thought about it, he had offended quite a few people far beyond what he should have.
While he was thinking, Natasha did not disturb him, simply letting him think in silence.
After another moment of thought, Lukas let out a sigh and said while shrugging his shoulders,
"What do you want me to do? Given that you came all the way to visit me after all this time, you must have something in mind, right?"
While saying these words, he directly looked Natasha in the eyes and waited for her to respond.
...
How impressive...
Natasha’s thoughts turned as she stared back into those deep black eyes.
Every time she thought she had completely understood this young man, he continued to surprise her again and again.
To be honest, Natasha had already prepared herself for the possibility that he might reject her offer. She never thought he would accept on the first try.
Could it be he has something else in mind...?
While thinking, she remembered a piece of information that had just resurfaced in her mind.
Roaring Dragon Settlement... Star Mother.
That piece of news filled her heart with dread. His arrival coincided with the settlement’s unrest. Could he be one of those involved?
While she was thinking, Lukas urged her again, seeming increasingly impatient.
"Tell me, what do you want, White Knight Guild Leader?"
This time, Lukas’s voice sounded serious. For some reason, that tone caused her heartbeat to accelerate uncontrollably, in a way she could not quite comprehend.
Thus, she fidgeted in place and said in a slightly hurried voice,

"Teach the members of the White Knight Guild. Teach them swordsmanship."
Natasha had finally found out just what kind of monster Lukas was when it came to swordsmanship. If the members of the White Knight Guild were to receive his guidance, it would be a tremendous opportunity.
"Okay...!"
Lukas simply nodded, a strange look in his eyes.
Anyone would find it hard to swallow a fully grown adult acting like a teenager. In Lukas’s eyes, Natasha was acting like a teenager, and this annoyed him more than he would like to admit.
At this point, he was starting to miss the murder-hobo White Knight Guild leader who had chased him through the forest.
Once he agreed, they chatted for a brief moment, then Natasha took her leave in a hurry.
...
Time passed. The next day, Lukas dressed properly in a new set of clothes and made his way to the White Knight Guild training ground, a place where he would be teaching the members of the guild.
Ahh... teaching. Who could have thought that someday I would be teaching someone...
Life surely is full of surprises.
As he moved forward, soon he found himself standing in wide open ground, a group of people were already there waiting for him, so when they saw him, their eyes immediately turned to him.
