Chapter 283: The Umbrawyrs Brilliance (II)
White asked with a raised eyebrow.
What should have made sense would be these other Umwhirojets being some sort of illusion, indistinguishable, since technically it should have been impossible for a second or third jet to appear out of thin air.
But...
"The copies are real, My King."
Umbra Ludinger said and White paused, turning to him with curiosity.
"Explain it to me."
"Every duplicate exists, every duplicate can fight, and every duplicate can of course... kill."
"The enemy must destroy every vessel simultaneously across every spatial layer or none of them truly perish."
"Though for now, we can only create up to twelve duplicates, and the duplicates might of course not have good enough defense compared to the main Umwhirojet."
"The concept was sourced from the existence of cloning skills from ancient races like the Loriancons."
He explained and silence followed after, as White stared at the Umwhirojet, which all soon turned back to five.
The entire main concept of this had just been an ordinary jet, yet... Humanity would not achieve something like this in a century, and he doubted even in a millennium they would reach this level of aerospace engineering.
The words aerospace engineering did not even seem to truly define what the Umbarwyrs were capable of.
They were a race that had spent millions of years treating the laws of reality as construction materials, and when finally getting their hands on Humanity technological framework brilliance, what they create is beyond jaw-dropping.
"So, what do you say King MadWhite. How do you find the creation of the Umwhirojets?"
He explained and White exhaled quietly before turning to him.
"I expected an aircraft, and knew you would improve it, but what you’ve created, Umbra Ludinger..."
He paused for about ten seconds before replying.
"I cannot put my awe into words enough. This is indeed beyond impressive..."
He said bowing slightly to the old Umbrawyr, and for a second White watched as the man’s horn suddenly glowed a crimson color.
When undergoing extreme emotions, Umbrawyr horns usually glow, and one of such things that could trigger extreme emotion for a race of darkness was praise from one more favored by darkness.
It was the obvious sign of the old man’s excitement at his praise.
"It’s my honor, King MadWhite."
He said with a deeper bow,
"With these, returning to Earth will be much easier than I thought."
White whispered before quietly stepping forward to the nearest Umwhirojet, tracing the exceptionally smooth curves with one of his fingers.
"You know I can sense your darkness Nythera..."
He suddenly called out without warning and Umbra Ludinger paused, turning around to look everywhere.
There was nothing.
"I think you might be confu..."
He did not complete those words when he found a peculiar pressure descending onto the room, making his spine freeze within his back.
His neck snapped behind him and there standing with both arms folded was her.
"Queen Nythera."
He cried out falling onto both knees.
"You may leave..."
She replied coldly and without a word a dark teleportation circle appeared and Umbra Ludinger instantly stepped into it disappearing from the space.
Her nebulae crimson eyes turned to White whose finger just at the same time fell from the jet’s body.
"How’s the army?"
"Waiting."
"Good."
He said, stretching out his hands and immediately all five Umwhirojets were surrounded by a thin dome of darkness and quietly began to rise into the air.
"What do you plan on doing with a thousand of the strongest Umbrawyr soldiers."
Nythera asked.
"I’ve told you that already."
"Invasion... I do not believe you have the experience, neither the heart for that."
She said in a provoking tone that made White respond quietly.
"I expect an annoyed tantrum from you Nythera."
He said, while hovering up along with the Umwhirojets. A wave of blue halo surrounded him, spatial laws permeating the air.
"Remain behind until my arrival... and do not make any emotional move."
He added.
"I’m not an emotional creature..."
SHATTTTTERR!
The space above her shattered like glass as White disappeared into the chaos along with all five Umwhirojets.
It left her only her remaining, space fragments falling down onto her only to be reduced to ashes before they could touch her skin.
A crimson glow burned through space itself, causing it to emit a strange sizzling sound as a fiery aura radiated from her nebula-crimson eyes.
Now that she had fully healed, she wanted nothing more than to provoke him into a fight, giving her the reason to smash his face in once more.
But it was an endeavor that would be beyond difficult as she was well aware of having lost her Crimsio Umbrawyrio to him.
Without it...
"Tch."
_____________
[It’s Finally Happening!]
The system panel flashed as White sat atop a sleek black Umwhirojet that tore through the Void at terrifying speed. Yet not a single strand of his hair was disturbed as he sat cross-legged, quietly staring into the endless darkness.
There were four more Umwhirojets behind him, all falling into a triangular formation as they raced forward into the Void.
"Yes. Yes it is."
He replied, but then his eyes knitted quietly as he noticed a bizarre line of runic code appearing from the system.
It was a long line of text, with the constant words:
[OVERRIDING BY AN ORIGIN POWER SOURCE!]
[ERROR! ERROR!]
White made no reaction, simply watching each line of code, and after about ten seconds, the system panel seemed to suddenly explode creating what seemed like a cocoon of code all around White.
He blinked once, and right after found himself where he last expected.
Even though he appeared to be in what seemed like a Void, there were no Umwhirojets all around him, as he remained standing there.
Then the corner of his lips shifted slightly as he calmly turned behind him, finding an astral being whose star-like eyes gazed at him.
"It’s been quite some time..."
White said calmly.
"Concept of Life and Souls."
