Chapter 943: Chapter 923: Dog’s Decision (Part 2)

Huo Zhenyang wanted Su Yan dead, and he wanted her to suffer the most agonizing punishment.

Currently, there are many methods of execution around the globe. The most common ones include firing squads, electrocution, and hanging.

Dog execution involves stripping the prisoner naked, placing them in an iron cage, and allowing hungry large dogs, starved for several days, to tear them apart until not even bones remain.

The prisoner dies in unimaginable pain and terror, making it the ultimate penalty.

Because dog execution is deemed inhumane, it has gradually been abolished around the world.

Only a few countries still preserve this form of punishment.

A Country happens to be one of those nations where dog execution is still practiced.

In China, executions are carried out by firing squad, which is far less painful and terrifying compared to dog execution.

But... when Su Yan was first sentenced, Huo Zhenyang didn’t interfere much. So why would he suddenly harbor such intense hatred for her now?

Si Yuheng raised his brows, puzzled. "Why did Huo decide this?"

A stern voice came from behind, George’s, stating, "Miss Jiayi’s car accident wasn’t an accident. We’ve discovered that Su Yan incited some local black-market thugs before she was arrested. One of those thugs was caught by the police two hours ago. He confessed that Su Yan believed Miss Jiayi was pregnant and ordered him to hit her with a car to cause her to miscarry. The thug followed Miss Jiayi for several days, but could never find the right opportunity because Miss Jiayi was always surrounded by others. It wasn’t until today, when Miss Jiayi went out alone..."

No wonder Huo Zhenyang was furious—a rage that drove him to authorize dog execution for Su Yan.

Si Yuheng seemed to understand now. "Got it."

He paused for a moment, then thought of that woman’s tearful eyes pleading for an answer. He frowned and asked, "By the way, is Miss Chu okay?"

"I won’t let her die, not even the King of Hell dares to take her,"

The man before him continued staring through the glass window at the figure inside. His icy words spilled from his lips one by one.

After speaking, he raised his hand and waved it tiredly, his expression revealing a hint of impatience.

Si Yuheng understood that the man found it tedious to say more and turned to leave.

...

When Si Yuheng returned, Liang Anya quieted down, adhering to her promise to follow him silently as they left the hospital.

The night wind brushed her face. Liang Anya folded her arms, the dried tears on her face feeling cool against her skin. As she thought of Jiayi lying in the hospital bed, her fate still uncertain, a sour ache welled up in her chest, stopping her in her tracks.

Women are such trouble.

Si Yuheng had already reached the Bugatti Veyron. Noticing the lack of movement behind him, he turned around. Seeing her standing there, he walked back, took off his jacket, draped it over her shoulders, and, upon spotting the tears rolling down her face, bit back his frustration:

"Enough, is it really worth all this? Wipe your tears, pull yourself together, and go home to rest! If you stress yourself out and affect the baby, I’ll make sure your life becomes unbearable!"

This was exactly why he kept Jiayi’s accident hidden and didn’t want to bring her along to the hospital—just to avoid this crying and fussing.

She complied, wiping her tears, but let out a cold chuckle. "Si Yuheng, someone as heartless, insidious, and devoid of feelings as you couldn’t possibly understand other people’s worries. I don’t blame you; I merely despise you. Even dogs shed tears when they lose a companion. You? You’ll never have anyone to make you cry or worry in this lifetime. To live like you do—lower than a dog—such a pitiful existence."

With that, she walked toward the car.

Just as she bent down to get inside, Si Yuheng grabbed her hand and yanked her toward him—not too gently, but not forcefully either!

Si Yuheng leaned against the car door, trapping her in the space between his arms. Bit by bit, he drew closer, lowering his head, his voice laced with malice: "Heartless, insidious, devoid of feelings... feels good to hurl insults, doesn’t it?"

The dangerous aura of the man enveloped her, giving her a familiar sense of unease—the same feeling she had when he used kisses as punishment the other day.

She tried to break free from the cage his arms created, but her belly was now large, and his limbs were sturdy as steel beams—it was impossible to budge. She could only glare at him in anger and nervously retort, "That wasn’t insulting, it... it was stating facts!"

Si Yuheng pinched her sharp tongue and retorted with a cold smile, "My Chinese isn’t bad enough to confuse insults with facts."

With that, he claimed her face, biting down fiercely on the lips that had just referred to him as a dog!

His tongue pressed forward, prying apart her pearly teeth.

Her mouth still bore traces of salty tears, yet it carried an irresistible sweetness—soft, tender, and tempting.

Initially, he used this form of punishment because no other method would suffice—after all, he couldn’t harm the baby in her womb.

But unexpectedly, this form of punishment had turned into an enjoyment for him.

Liang Anya’s eyes widened in shock. Again!

He was punishing her this way again!

Her struggles sent her chest heaving with rapid breaths, pressing against his strong physique in continuous friction. His body seemed to ignite like a spark caught on dry tinder, growing hotter as the kiss became even more ravenous!

This woman—previously flat as a board, at most a B-cup, the quintessential petite Asian frame!

And now, what the hell—pregnancy made her suddenly stacked?

For months, she’d been wearing loose, baggy clothing due to her pregnancy, making it impossible to notice.

Even her underwear was purchased by the housekeeper. It was never something he paid attention to.

Curious to see if he was mistaken, he frowned and boldly placed his hand forward to test.

Soft and plush—the sensation was undeniably pleasant.

Based on his experience, they’d grown by more than one or two sizes. They were now almost too large to grasp fully with one hand.

Liang Anya’s pupils contracted sharply, and out of nowhere, she found a burst of strength, biting down fiercely with her teeth!

Si Yuheng let out a cry of pain, his tall figure staggering back several steps. He spat harshly, the spittle filled with blood, gritting his teeth: "Are you a dog?!"

Liang Anya threw a slap at his face—

He reacted quickly, raising his hand to catch her wrist mid-air with precision. His wicked eyes glinted darkly as he teased, "You want to hit me? Do you want another round of punishment, perhaps the upgraded version?"

Liang Anya relaxed her brows slightly, gritting her teeth as she yanked her hand free. She hurried to get into the car, but before her body settled, she heard his voice behind her: "Hey."

Her fists clenched tightly. What more does he want?

His voice drifted to her ears: "Huo Zhenyang said Miss Chu’s life isn’t in danger. Isn’t this hospital one of the best in China? With Huo Zhenyang’s wealth, what famous doctor or good medical facility couldn’t he afford? He could even bring the dead back to life. Your best friend wouldn’t be accepted by the King of Hell even if she begged him."

Her body froze. If she didn’t mishear, was he... comforting her?

Impossible.

This man’s heart was eaten by dogs—cold-blooded to the core. Comforting her was out of the question.

Even if it was comforting, it was only because he feared her bad mood might affect the baby.

She said nothing, climbed into the passenger seat, and with a snap, fastened her seatbelt.

Si Yuheng watched her act as though she hadn’t heard him. His brows furrowed.

Was he talking to a dog just now?

Not a single reaction.

He cursed himself internally for suddenly speaking those words to her. Dammit. Bringing her to the hospital was already enough effort.

His irritation boiling, he strode around to the driver’s side, got in, slammed the door, and, with a roar of the engine, sped away from the hospital.
