Adam entered the armoury and equipped his combat armour before grabbing a few items, which he stored in different compartments of his armour.

After getting what he needed, he left the armoury and proceeded towards the hangar bay.

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Anyone manage to make out what he picked up?]

[OfficialKasumi (Aqua Primus): Fairly sure I saw him grab that blaster off his.]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): I saw him pick up one of those bracelets that let him change his outfit.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Why would he need one of those if he’s wearing his combat armour?]

“Open the hangar door,” Adam ordered as he entered the hangar bay and approached the hoverbike, where he swung his leg over it before activating it.

“Affirmative,” Spector replied before the hangar door opened while a blue energy shield covered the opening.

As soon as the hangar door opened wide enough, Adam gunned the hoverbike, causing it to fly out of the hangar and plummet towards the ground below, which was only a few meters below.

[Justiceistruth (Earth): Oh shit, he just rode straight out into mid-air.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Dude, that’s sick, it’s like some epic deployment.]

[HackerSu (Trillion): I can totally imagine his ship flying just above the ground as he deploys out of it.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): It’s a shame his ship seems to be cloaked.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Why didn’t he just fly his ship there since it’s already cloaked?]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): I was wondering the same thing.]

[OrangeeyedStace (Spector): Apparently, the target's location is protected by a cloaked ship detection grid.]

[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): Seriously? She actually has access to a cloaked ship detection grid?]

As the hoverbike reached the ground, it seemed to bounce in the air a few times before Adam turned it in the direction his HUD indicated and zoomed off in that direction.

[CEOHopkins (Spector): Both Rowena and Aphrodite also sounded surprised when they learned about this. Is it that strange for her to have this detection grid?]

[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): Because of its production cost, since it requires Combrzalite.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Combrzalite?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Combrzalite is an extremely rare mineral that is only found in a certain section of the Reynard Galaxy. It is an essential component in ship construction as well as other products such as the cloaked ship detection grid.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): I’m assuming a cloaked ship detection grid does exactly what it says on the tin and detects cloaked ships?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): That’s correct.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): Well, I guess that explains why he can’t just fly his ship up to the building, the target is in, like, back on Earth.]

The place where the hoverbike had landed was a fair distance from any of the domes and so lacked any habitable atmosphere, which is why Adam had donned his combat armour.

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): Wow, it really is just rocky earth and nothing else, isn’t it?]

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): Well, it is a lifeless hunk of rock floating in space. Since it has no atmosphere of its own, it’s impossible for anything to grow there.]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Kind of like your head at times]

[MercheadAnderson (Palaxia): …]

[Puntanghunter69Ver2 (International Space Station): Ouch, even I felt that one.]

Adam continued to fly the hoverbike in the direction that was indicated on his HUD until the tip of a dome appeared on the horizon, which began to grow larger in size as he approached.

As he got closer, Adam and the chat could make out that the dome in question was the largest central dome, as more of it came into view.

Each one seemed to be made of large triangular-shaped sections of some see-through material, each of which was attached to some kind of metallic mullion.

[Justiceistruth (Earth): Damn, all that glass has gotta cost a fortune.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Do you really think they use mere glass? Do you even know how thick a piece of glass needs to be to protect its inhabitants from the vacuum of space?]

[Puntanghunter69Ver2 (International Space Station): 2.5 to 3.5 inches thick, compared to a normal house window, which is 7mm thick.]

[Superherofangirl (Earth): I don’t know whether to be impressed or shocked that the perverted astronaut knows that.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): I guess the perverts got to have some knowledge if NASA allows him to travel into space.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I’m assuming they are the units of measurement used on Earth.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Some of them.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Ah, well, we Dwarfinians created a type of see-through material that's five times thinner but still as sturdy as the material that was used before it.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): It’s not called Transparent Aluminium, is it? Because that would be so Sci-fi.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): No.]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): Lame.]

As Adam got close enough, the chat was able to see that there were six domes in all, five of which surrounded the largest central dome.

Each of the domes was connected via tunnels made out of the same transparent material and metallic mullions as the domes themselves.

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): They really like looking at the stars, don't they?]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Well, no one wants to look at a bland ceiling or artificially created fake sky.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): So, how do you suppose he plans to get in? I mean, he can’t exactly use the front door if he’s supposed to be going incognito.]

[Justiceistruth (Earth): Do these domes even have front doors?]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): I was speaking metaphorically.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): They naturally have airlocks; however, they are likely to be well guarded.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I suppose he could use one of the exhaust vents, though it would be extremely dangerous.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Exhaust vents?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): They are primarily used by the atmospheric generator to discard excess heat out into space, where it simply dissipates.]

Adam rose the hoverbike up to the top of a large nearby hill before stopping, scanning the layout of the six domes.

“What are my access point options?” Adam asked as he held out his hand just before a holographic layout of the domes appeared above his uniband.

Several sections of the holographic layout were highlighted in green to show possible entry points.

Each of the domes, depending on size, had one or more airlocks, while another one, which houses the atmospheric generator, had multiple small outlet points, presumably an exhaust vent port of some kind.

One of the domes, however, had an access point far larger than the rest and Adam couldn’t help but ask, “why’s that access point so big?”

“My sensors indicate multiple ships docked just inside the access. It’s reasonable to assume that it’s a docking bay,” Spector replied.

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Well, that’s stupid. Why have a cloaked ship detection grid covering the main dome, but not the docking bay?

What’s to stop it from landing there?]

[OracleRomy (Elysium): Keep listening, I think you're about to find out.]

“It doesn’t appear to have an airlock. Does it have an energy shield like your docking bay?” Adam asked.

“Affirmative,” Spector replied before adding, “the energy shield keeping the atmosphere inside the docking bay also appears to be a cloaked ship detection grid.”

[OracleRomy (Elysium): See.”

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Ohh, yeah, that makes more sense. Thank you, Oracle Andromeda.]

“I guess that’s my entry point then,” Adam said before swinging the hoverbike in the direction of the docking bay and gunning the accelerator.

[HackerSu (Trillion): I get why he’s heading for the docking bay since it seems a safer option than the main airlock and exhaust vent. But how’s he going to get in without being seen? You would think it would be filled with workers.]

[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): I guess it depends on how often they get deliveries.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Not that frequently, surely. Considering it’s a secret organisation.]

[LadyErkath (Aqua Primus): You seem to be misunderstanding something. Fiere Lucent might be a member of this secret organisation, but that in itself is a secret.

She publicly owns Flamyre, so she shouldn’t have to hide the fact that she receives deliveries.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Ah yeah, I guess that makes sense.]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): You really are a dumbass.]

The hoverbike arrived at the dome, which housed the docking bay, before Adam had it skirt around the outer wall that was just below the triangular window panels.

As he approached the docking bay's entry hatch and saw a blue energy shield covering the entrance, he brought the hoverbike to a stop before climbing off it.

He began to sneak along the wall until he arrived at a small access panel next to the energy shield that was presumably the controls for the hatch.

Adam held his uniband over the access panel before asking, “can you access their mainframe from here?”

“Negative, this access panel appears to be for the manual override,” Spector replied.

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): How does an access panel work as a manual override? What if it loses power?]

[Superherofangirl (Earth): That does seem kind of stupid.]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Look just below the access panel; you can barely make out the edges of a small hatch.

The access panel should have its own dedicated power source, and when used, it opens the small hatch allowing access to the manual override handle.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Manual override handle?]

[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): It’s a handle you pump to manually open the main hatch.]
