Chapter 211: The legacy of Fools II

"I warned you," Aramtih glared, stepping forward to teach that fool a lesson, but Mozrael stopped him.

"Don’t, it’s enough."

Aramith retracted his gaze and turned to leave, but the fools refused to back down.

Lying on the ground, the first victim clutched his abdomen, coughing and spitting like a corrupted goat.

The sound was grating and uncomfortable for the spectators.

The other two students went to block Aramith’s path.

"Where do you think you’re going? You think you can just do whatever you want and leave?"

Aramith looked at them with an expression that said ’Roll out of the way before I make you’.

The coughing goat finally calmed down and stood up. He pointed to Mozrael while wiping his mouth.

That strike was dangerous, and it should have been enough to warn anyone with a working brain cell, but not this fool. He rather convinced himself that the only reason why he took the hit was that Aramith used a sneak attack, when he was trying to ’save Mozrael from the clutches of an evil misift’.

He didn’t think of the fact that Aramith’s move was fast, nor the fact that even if it was a sneak attack, it shouldn’t have thrown him away so much if Aramith was just a weak, new student.

He was a true fool.

"You shouldn’t stand with such a despicable person! He attacked me even when I didn’t provoke him. Don’t let him fool you, he’s just a good-for-nothing who’s leeching off of his teacher."

His words would have had some effect, but when people looked past his expression that was filled with justice and focused their eyes on his legs, their expressions couldn’t help but become stiff.

Why are your legs shaking so much? At least try to look good enough when pursuing a young lady.

The spectators didn’t recognize Aramith and just assumed this was just another bout between love rivals.

THey compared the shaking student to Aramith and couldn’t help but shake their heads.

Where’s the challenge!

Aramith had him beat in every category. Looks, presentability, composure, and even strength.

Above all, he beat him in the stability of his legs.

How could you still have the courage to put up a front in this scenario?

They admitted that Mozrael’s cold beauty was worth fighting for, but to appear so poorly before the target of your love was just too sad.

With such a great misunderstanding, they silently cheered for Aramith.

Apart from being better than this guy, he also had a cool aura that matched Aramith.

Noticing the looks they were giving him, the student forced his legs to stabilize after some effort.

"I’ll teach you a lesson!"

With a signal, his two lackeys rushed forward to attack Aramith.

They didn’t even get to make a move before Aramith turned.

His gaze shook them before he even struck.

They were both sent flying with a single strike, but they didn’t stop. Quickly, they forced themselves up. The ground beneath them cracked as rocks surrounded them both.

They prepared to launch and attack, but immediately, their target disappeared.

Aramith didn’t give them a chance to react before he struck the rocks around them, forcing them into their backs.

Screaming in pain, their faces were buried in the ground.

All those watching were shocked.

They didn’t see him move and didn’t think he’d be able to easily suppress them like that.

Everyone stared at Aramith with complicated expressions.

Everyone except one student. The only one who’d tasted Aramith’s brutality firsthand.

In his opinion, Aramith took it easy on them. At least there wasn’t any blood on the scene.

Too gentle. Way too gentle.

Once again, they prepared to leave, but a professional fool wasn’t satisfied with the results and wanted to prove he was more foolish than they thought.

He gathered energy into his hands, forming a fireball that shot at Aramith.

Aramith quickly dodged, but Mozrael didn’t care.

Frowning, she waved her hand.

A blue fireball twice the size of the oncoming one shot at the shooter.

It swallowed his pitiful spark and continued towards him.

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

The attack coming at him was more powerful than what he shot, but what he couldn’t believe was that Mozrael was the one who shot at him.

Miss, I wasn’t even targeting you! And can’t you see he already dodged???

He looked at Mozrael with tears in his eyes just before the fireball shot him and sent his scorched self flying away.

This was the worst outcome. The girl he was trying so hard to impress ended up attacking him to defend his love rival instead.

His heart was broken into a million pieces.

On the way, the warden made sure to be polite to Sylvia, knowing that the great Rector valued this student as well.

He kept explaining a lot about the cultivation grounds to Sylvia, and though he seemed to be speaking a lot, Sylvia didn’t respond much.

He felt like this student was despising him for what he did earlier, but that was far from the case.

Sylvia truly found his words helpful and was listening attentively. It was just that she had nothing to comment on and only preferred to listen.

As they were going, a burnt smell assaulted their noses, and the Warden couldn’t help but frown.

"Did someone bring roasted meat here?" He saw several students standing in a daze as they looked up, their eyes following a smoking figure.

The burnt smell got stronger, and the Warden sensed something coming towards him and Sylvia.

He slowly looked toward the sky and noticed something black was spinning through the air, trailing smoke, and screaming.

He quickly stepped forward, shielding her as he caught the projectile, but what he saw left him in a daze.

His mouth twitched. "What are you doing?" He asked as he placed the smoking figure on the ground. He stood with difficulty and didn’t know what to say.

The sorry figure looked at him miserably, his clothes burnt till only bits clung to him, saving his last bit of dignity.

He grabbed the Warden and started crying.

The warden was too confused to react.

This...what is going on with this kid?
