When Kalon finished teleporting, he found himself standing in the middle of an empty road.

Things started to make sense to Kalon.

"Fine, but leave the fighting to me. We wait until he goes into his room, then take him down in there."
As he explained his plan, Josinia looked at him with narrowed eyes.
Then she smiled.
"You’re awfully confident, considering you’re only Steel Rank. Is this another human trait?"
Kalon was going to say no, but then realised that would have been a lie.
"Well, I guess. Humans are quite prideful, after all."

Afterwards, the duo crept towards the building and waited.
The building was only one storey, which meant all the rooms were on the ground floor.

Kalon and Josinia looked through one of the windows into the main area. There was a firepit where roughly ten men and women sat, sharing drinks around the fire.

Josinia pointed and whispered towards a man with a head of silver hair and a twirled silver moustache.
He wore a purple suit to match his skin, and for some reason, he carried a shovel on his back.

And beside him, leaning on his shoulder, was his daughter.
