Chapter 1239: Chapter 1239: He’s in My Hands
Sent from Old Master Ink.
Nothing else, just a picture, with Watt Bennet in the Ink Family’s picture.
Manuel Ink stared at the photo for quite a while, then lifted his face to look at Summer Sutton ahead.
Summer Sutton clearly didn’t know about Watt Bennet being in the Ink Family, and continued wandering and taking photos.
She was fascinated by everything in the town, occasionally stopping to examine things nearby.
Old Master Ink had already sent the picture of Watt Bennet to Manuel Ink, obviously still unsure about what to do with Watt Bennet.
Manuel Ink temporarily set the matter aside and caught up with Summer Sutton in a few steps.
Summer Sutton had boarded a tour bus in the town, making space for him.
Manuel Ink joined her, watching her pleasantly gaze around, contemplating whether to tell her about Watt Bennet.
Summer Sutton had decided to start anew, and in her heart, she probably intended to let go of Watt Bennet.
Her mood since going abroad was unlike when she was at home; she was no longer gloomily unhappy—her smile these past few days, Manuel Ink noticed, was genuine.
Manuel Ink looked at her like this for quite a while, deciding not to tell her at this time.
"South France is beautiful," came Summer Sutton’s voice beside him.
"Yeah," Manuel Ink nodded in agreement.
"If it hadn’t been for these days, you probably wouldn’t have time to come to a place like this, right?" Summer Sutton turned to ask him.
"Yeah," Manuel Ink nodded again.
He had so many things to do every day, certainly leaving no leisure time to visit the countryside towns of South France, his status also wouldn’t allow him to just take a holiday when feeling frustrated like any ordinary person.
"I heard there are lavender fields, many vineyards, and sunflower seas around here," Summer Sutton picked up her guidebook and leafed through it, "and I heard many couples come here."
"Really?" Manuel Ink turned to look at her, his gaze unusually gentle.
Although Summer Sutton said it herself, his question made her pause for a moment.
During her days in South France, it seemed that they really encountered mostly couples.
Southern France had always been Summer Sutton’s ideal destination, countless times she imagined coming here with Adrian Walyon.
But unexpectedly, today she was sitting on a town bus with Manuel Ink.
Thinking of Adrian Walyon’s name made Summer Sutton’s heart feel somewhat bittersweet.
"Actually, many families come too, it’s also quite suitable for elderly people to recuperate," quickly correcting herself, Summer Sutton picked up her camera to continue studying it.
"Have you booked the hotel for tonight?" Manuel Ink asked.
Summer Sutton shook her head.
The hotel she booked was in another town, it would probably be too late to go back now.
"Then let’s just find one around here!" Manuel Ink got off the bus first, walking ahead to look at the inns near the street.
In the town where they were, there were no big hotels, only inns.
Fortunately, each inn was very clean and tidy, with small villas, gardens, and all beautifully designed.
Manuel Ink randomly chose one to enter, trying to book a room, but was told there was only one left.
"Let’s go, try another one!" Grabbing Summer Sutton’s hand, Manuel Ink led her out of the inn.
The hotel they were currently at was the most visited by travelers in South France, especially during the peak tourist season in August and September.
Many hotels were basically booked half a month in advance.
