Chapter 1236: Chapter 1236: If You Want Her, Get in Line

Summer Sutton stared at the caller ID on her phone for a long time, before finally taking out the SIM card and tossing it aside, replacing it with a new one she bought after arriving in M Country.

She shut off her phone, closed her eyes, and didn’t continue to think about these matters, covering herself with a blanket to sleep.

...

Back home.

After Summer Sutton left, Watt Bennet searched for her for an entire week. However, it was as if she had vanished from the world, without a trace of news about her.

The airport had no records of her departure either; her person and even her name seemed to have evaporated, no matter how Watt tried to track her down.

As the situation had developed to this point, Watt could guess that she might have left with someone.

Aside from Manuel Ink, there likely wasn’t anyone else who could quietly take her away without leaving a trace, right?

Manuel Ink...

Watt gently closed his eyes and made a phone call to his subordinate.

"Check Manuel Ink’s recent itinerary."

The person who answered was Marshall Quinn.

As soon as Marshall heard Manuel Ink’s name, he felt the pressure.

Manuel Ink himself was a man shrouded in mystery, his whereabouts always secretive, making the investigation exceedingly difficult.

But, he had no choice; he was paid to follow orders and get the job done.

That same day Marshall received the call, he immediately started investigating Manuel Ink.

Watt had originally planned to wait for his information, but unable to sit still, he spent a few days staking out at Royal Delight without seeing Manuel Ink. He suspected the man was not in the country, so Watt arranged for a private plane to fly directly to the Ink Family Castle.

To the security of Ink Family Castle, he was undoubtedly a bombshell presence.

As soon as the plane appeared in the Ink Family’s territory, all of their security raised their guard and prepared response strategies.

The Old Master of the Ink family was informed that someone was intruding into his home, and even before seeing the person, he guessed it must be Watt.

Swaggering out, the Old Master glanced at Watt slowly descending from the sky and chuckled.

Lost his own person and now coming to his house to demand her?

Watt, familiar with the place, found the Ink Family airport, and after the plane landed, he slowly walked towards the main house.

He came alone, without even a guard, not fearing the consequences of intruding here.

Facing the Old Master, he straightforwardly stated his purpose, "I came to find Manuel Ink."

"What do you want with Manuel Ink?" the Old Master asked knowingly.

"It’s none of your business," Watt didn’t directly answer.

The Old Master found his words especially ironic.

"Even if you don’t say it, I know. You’re here to ask him for the person, right?"

Watt didn’t deny his words.

"Heh, it’s really laughable. Always claiming she’s yours, now that she’s gone, you’re asking others for her. Can’t even keep your own woman, what use are you?" the Old Master mocked.

Watt always knew the Old Master’s temperament, knew that the Old Master hadn’t liked him.

Yet this time, he didn’t bicker like he usually would.

"Where’s Manuel Ink?" He gazed into the house, probing further.

"Manuel Ink isn’t here, neither is the girl." The Old Master glanced at him and added, "She will never be returned to you again. She still owes the Ink Family five years, which I haven’t settled with her. If you want her, get in line!"

Pausing, he looked at Watt and added, "Besides, if I gave her back to you, can you really make her happy?"
