Chapter 422: Little Prick [Bonus]

[Bonus Chapter thanks to Castle from VokayroK <3]

Little prick was more than accurate. He couldn’t have been more than 5’6". The only thing not so little about him was his stomach, but Grey could see the outline of a waist trainer trying to bundle whatever nonsense he had hiding in there up.

It would have been funny if it wasn’t so disgusting. The man’s muffin top spilled out from the bottom of the waist trainer, more fat spilling out from the top. He looked like a can of food being squeezed from the middle.

Grey couldn’t help but wonder if this guy had looked in a mirror before he left home. What sort of ridiculous situation was this.

Grey spit out his mouthful of food, hitting Brad square in the face. The big man started dry heaving, the grossness of it all nearly making him vomit.

"What the fuck?!"

"Sorry—" Grey coughed through his laughs, "Sorry—Sorry," Grey continued to sputter, hardly able to control himself. He had never seen something so ridiculous in his life.

The little prick’s emerald eyes landed on Grey. Although he couldn’t tell why Grey was laughing, he was almost immediately furious. It seemed that though he wasn’t perceptive enough to leave the waist trainers to middle-aged wine moms, he was perceptive enough to tell when someone was laughing at him and not with him.

Brad barely managed to get his face wiped down when the little prick had stormed over.

"You." He said coldly.

Despite his small stature, the man’s voice was deep and rich.

Too deep.

Grey raised an eyebrow and then his senses flashed. That was when he caught sight of a circuit running just underneath the little prick’s skin.

"You can’t be fucking serious. Are you seeing this?" Grey looked over toward Amunet who sat to his right as the unwelcome guest loomed to his left.

The restaurant had become completely silent. It seemed that none of them dared to laugh like Grey did.

The little prick was one thing, but the two guards that followed behind him, the momentum of their auras, the mechs that formed their armor, and the crests etched into the middle of their chest plates was another matter entirely.

This was the Valdi Clan and they honestly wanted nothing to do with it. If not for a risk of offending the Valdi further, they would have all immediately begun to storm out.

Amunet just blinked and didn’t answer.

"Agh, what good are you if you don’t banter anymore?" Grey said with a wave of his hand.

Amunet continued to sit there, looking innocent. She wasn’t going to be dragged into this if she didn’t have to be.

Grey had already looked away. "Me." He said to the little man. "In the flesh, and very hungry, I’d might add. You’re interrupting—."

BANG.

A spear cut the table in two, nearly taking Grey’s legs with it. They certainly would have taken Brad’s, who was right across from him, if not for the fact Grey had sent out a quick kick that slid the big man’s chair back across the tiled floors of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, because he had done that, he didn’t have the time to also save the food.

It spilled everywhere, splashing against him, and sometimes even searing.

Mauve shrieked. Luckily the food wasn’t boiling anymore by the time it was served, but that didn’t stop it from being hot enough to scald a bit.

The echo hardly registered to Grey when he was already moving.

His foot stomped down on the body of the spear before the guard could raise it back up. His fist shot through the air, ignoring the little prick entirely. But that didn’t stop the mere scorching speed of his punch from leaving small cuts across the latter’s cheeks.

BANG.

The guard didn’t even have the right to reply, to counter, to even scream.

His chest caved in, his heart was ripped to a pulp, and his body was sent flying so fast it felt like he hit the paved roads outside before the crowd even heard the window he flew through shatter.

Grey, however, wasn’t listening for shattered glass. He was grabbing a neck spilling with fat and lifting it up.

"Put him down!" the second guard barked, but he could hardly do a thing with Grey holding up the person he was supposed to protect as though some sort of shield between the two of them.

Grey squeezed down. "You see, I don’t actually have that much patience at all," he said coldly, a frigid chill radiating from him, "since I’ve come to this shitty place, I’ve already been forced to battle twice by people you wouldn’t even fit between the teeth of, but let me guess.

"Someone sent you here with a death wish to try to bait me, is that it? They probably don’t really care if you actually live or die. They might even be hoping that you do die. I’d imagine an existence like you is quite the fucking stain on the Valdi family name.

"Quite the dilemma, no? I kill you, or harm you, and suddenly there’s reason to come after me with the full force of a Dukedom.

"But what’s my other option? Just let you prance about free and unbothered?"

Piss began to roll down the little prick’s leg. Funny enough, it wasn’t because he was that scared, it was because Grey was squeezing his neck so hard circulation was completely cut from his brain. He was practically being slowly hung.

If not for the fact his toes still had a little purchase on the ground, his neck would have already snapped.

"No, no. I think there’s something a lot more fun to do than just this."

Grey’s appetite was completely ruined and he had no desire to eat in a place that stunk of piss and shit either, so it wasn’t long before he left.

What was left behind was quickly spread through the city, though. A member of the Valdi Dukedom left to wallow in his own piss and shit, hanging from a pillar near the city square.

It was nearly a dozen minutes before anyone cared to get him down from there. And by then, it was already much too late.
