Chapter 226: Guard thy chrysanthemum hehehe
Qie Xieling slowly opened his eyes, feeling a sense of disorientation as he took in his surroundings. The room he found himself in was unlike any he had ever seen before. It lacked windows, but its luxuriousness was undeniable. He was sleeping in a grandiose bed with rich fabric.
There was a soft and inviting carpet underfoot, and the furniture in the room exuded elegance and opulence. The exquisite ornaments adorning every corner seemed to hold a glimpse of history, evoking an air of mystery and allure.
As Qie Xieling stretched his limbs like a cat and let out a satisfying yawn as he got up. His confusion over his sudden relocation momentarily vanished when his feet touched the carpet.
The plush carpet beneath his feet provided a comforting sensation, soothing his senses. It was as if he had stumbled upon the most forbidden, yet alluring, part of the palace in his slumber.
His curiosity piqued, Qie Xieling stood up and shuffled toward a table on the other side of the room. His ruffled hair, a product of his deep sleep, added a touch of endearment to his appearance. With no concern or worry on his face, he poured himself a glass of water.
King Luo, who was overseeing the execution of the treacherous monastic monk’s at the execution grounds felt a warm sensation emanating from the golden thread bracelet adorning his wrist.
This enchanting piece alerted him to the presence of movement in his secret chambers. Intrigued, the king waved his hand, invoking an incantation that allowed him to spy on Qie Xieling within the room while remaining invisible to others. He was expecting him to be panicking but what he saw couldn’t be far from the truth.
As he gazed intently, the king’s stoic expression gradually softened, a reflection of the blossoming warmth in his heart. Qie Xieling was in a dishevelled state. He scratched his messy hair, revealing an adorable and playful look on his face.
King Luo watched him with rapt attention as he drank water, his head tilting back slightly, accentuating the graceful lines of his elongated neck. The sight of his lover’s shoulder, adorned with a faint hickey, sent a surge of emotions coursing through his body.
A wave of numbness enveloped King Luo, his throat growing inexplicably dry as he swallowed hard. His eyes darkened with a mixture of desire and longing. It became evident to him at that moment that he was deeply and irrevocably in love with this bewitching being before him, a vixen who had effortlessly captured his heart.
Jolie suddenly walked over appearing from who knows where and asked, "Where is he?"
King Luo unhurriedly waved away the picture in front of him and without looking at her he replied, "He is fine. That’s all you need to know."
Jolie sneered finally understanding the meaning of the statement ’daughters marry their fathers’ only that this was a son. Luo Muchen was exactly like Qie Ranzhe if not worse. She had a strong feeling that King Luo heard their conversation earlier and was so afraid of being dumped that he went to all lengths to keep Qie Xieling by his side forever.
The problem was that the task was complete and the system was already running a countdown before Qie Xieling could leave this world. They hadn’t figured out what would happen to this world so Jolie was wondering if Qie Xieling should say something to prepare King Luo in case this world continues to exist without him.
Who would have thought that this man over heard them and kidnapped Qie Xieling and Qie Xieling was probably happy to be kidnapped?
Jolie laughed softly before saying, "Fine, just tell him to protect his chrysanthemum otherwise he will regret it."
King Luo’s brow creased in confusion. "What chrysanthemum? He doesn’t have flowers."
Jolie stifled her laughter her face turning red. The strong stench of blood and the wails of the monks made it the wrong place to burst out laughing. She waved her hand as she walked away leaving behind a very confused King Luo.
After completing the initial round of executions, King Luo ordered his men to take a break for lunch. Without wasting any time, he hastily rose from his seat and set off to find his beloved.
As King Luo walked through the palace, his mind was consumed with thoughts of his lover. With each stride, his anticipation grew, and he couldn’t wait to find him and be near him once again. The servants he passed along the way bowed respectfully, acknowledging their king, but his sole focus was on his beloved.
He continued walking until he reached his treasure vault, a room protected by powerful magic. Inside was a vast array of shiny and alluring objects that could lure him. However, it was not his treasures that he was interested in, it was Qie Xieling.
As King Luo made his way to the opposite wall, it suddenly opened, revealing a luxurious and spacious mini-palace within the palace. And there, lying on a grand bed, was Qie Xieling. His clothes were dishevelled, and he held a juicy peach in his hand. As he took a bite, the succulent juices trickled down his chin and neck. Qie Xieling, unaware of the effect he had on his king, wiped away the juices before sensually licking his fingers clean.
It was an innocent action, but King Luo found it incredibly alluring and sensual. It felt as if Qie Xieling was unintentionally seducing him, awakening a burning desire within him. He had to restrain himself, swallowing the intensity of his gaze.
Qie Xieling, noticing King Luo’s presence, looked up at him with a confused expression and asked, "What?"
King Luo’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of Qie Xieling’s innocent face, unaware of the effect he had on him.
"Will you stop standing there and do a cleaning spell or something. It’s so sticky," he said and King Luo replied,
"Oh," before his throat bobbed. But halfway towards him he suddenly had an even better idea. Qie Xieling felt a shiver down his spine for some reason. When he met King Luo’s gaze as he slowly climbed onto the bed he suddenly understood where the feeling was coming from. King Luo was looking at him like a fish on the chopping board.
"You... why are you looking at me like that?" he asked as King Luo slowly climbed on top of him.
"Let me help you wipe it off," he said with a slight smile at the corner of his lips.
Qie Xieling, "..."
His chrysanthemum tightened subconsciously but he was just as thirsty as the person lying on top of him.
