Chapter 123: Training

Wesley’s eyes lit up. He was just about to say he wouldn’t go to school, but he didn’t expect the Old Man to forbid him from going first. It was a perfect coincidence.

"I will talk to the school. The Beast Taming College Entrance Exam is coming up soon, and I’m afraid that if you go to school, you’ll cause more trouble for me!"

After saying this, Jackson left with his hands behind his back.

"Eldest Uncle, Second Uncle, take your time eating. I’ll be off then!"

Wesley waved to the two of them and went off to find his two cute little sisters.

"This brat, really!" Barry shook his head helplessly.

"Come, Big Brother, don’t think so much. Let’s have a drink!" Jordan raised his red wine glass.

"Alright. Third Brother, you don’t know, but the Old Man has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. He even made me transfer money to Wesley today."

"Isn’t that normal? The Old Man dotes on his grandson!" Jordan smiled and teased, listening to his eldest brother’s complaints.

"Pfft, we are the Old Man’s sons, and I’ve never seen him dote on us. We’ve certainly felt the pain of being beaten, though!"

"Uh!" Jordan fell silent.

On the other side, Jackson returned to his room, took out his phone, and called Principal Peter Walker of Aquapolis No 1 High School.

"Hello, you old scoundrel Jordan, you finally called me!" The call connected, and Principal Peter Walker’s aged and hoarse voice rang out.

"Hahaha, Old Peter, what are you saying!" Jackson laughed heartily.

"Enough. You called me, so have you thought of an explanation? Go ahead and say it."

"Well, Peter, you don’t know, but as soon as my good- for- nothing grandson returned, I hung him up and gave him a harsh lesson."

Listening to Jackson’s words, Principal Peter, sitting on the sofa in his living room, didn’t believe a word of it!

"A lesson? You old scoundrel Jordan, who are you trying to fool? Who in Aquilopolis City doesn’t know that you dote on that grandson of yours the most."

Thus, Principal Peter Walker interrupted Jackson’s nonsense.

"Old scoundrel Jordan, get to the point. Don’t tell me these things; I don’t want to hear them!"

"Hahaha, fine. It’s just that my grandson also said a few things, and I think they actually make a little sense."

Without waiting for Principal Peter Walker to say anything, Jackson repeated what Wesley had said earlier to him.

"Jackson, you really have a good grandson!" After a long silence, Principal Peter Walker’s voice sounded on the phone again.

Things do indeed have two sides; looking at problems from different perspectives does lead to different insights.

This gave Principal Peter Walker a new understanding of this student, Wesley, in his school.

"Hahaha, Peter, after all, my grandson was in the wrong, so I’m having him reflect on his mistakes at the Wayne Family for this period and not go to school, so he doesn’t cause any more trouble!"

When Jackson heard that Principal Peter stopped calling him an old scoundrel, he knew that Principal Peter had let the matter go.

"Fine, Jackson. I’ll clean up the mess for your precious grandson this time. But you tell that grandson of yours: at the Beast Taming College Entrance Exam, he must use his strength to defeat the people from Sand City fair and square!"

Principal Peter Walker hung up the phone after saying this, not waiting for Jackson’s reply.

"Heh, this old scoundrel Peter!" Listening to the busy tone on his phone, Jackson cursed under his breath.

"But this was still very satisfying!" Just as Jackson was feeling smug, the door was gently knocked.

"Come in!" Outside the door, William, feeling anxious, heard Jackson’s voice, pushed the door open, and walked in.

"Patriarch!"

"William, what business do you have with me?" Jackson looked confused as soon as he saw William.

"Patriarch, I have something to report to you!"

"Speak!" Jackson’s confusion deepened.

"Patriarch, the Young Master got into a conflict with someone from the Danver Family today!" Following that, William didn’t stop talking, spilling everything like beans out of a bag, detailing what happened between Wesley and Clark and the others.

"Good, he really doesn’t make things easy for me!"

After listening to William’s account, Jackson really admired his grandson; how could he cause trouble everywhere he went?

One trouble after another!

Compared to this, the school matter was just a minor squabble.

Not only was the Danver Family involved, but four third- rate families were also implicated!

Hearing that Wesley had made the young masters from those four families each slash Clark once, this tactic was truly brilliant.

"William, go arrange for people to keep an eye on the Danver Family’s movements, and keep a watch on those four third- rate families as well."

"If the Danver Family makes things difficult for them, our Wayne Family can lend a helping hand. We might even win the approval of those four families and have them pledge loyalty to our Wayne Family."

Jackson rubbed his temples and continued to ask:

"By the way, how is the investigation going regarding the Paul Family’s members, Logan and the others, dying in the Green Valley Secret Realm?"

"Family Head, the Paul Family hasn’t uncovered a single clue yet!"

William didn’t hesitate and immediately replied.

"Hmm, keep a close watch on the Paul Family!"

"Yes, Family Head!" William turned and retreated.

After William left, Jackson walked slowly to the balcony, his gaze fixed on the distant direction of Olympus Pass.

"Bruce, you really have raised a good son!"

---

Eagle Federation, Olympus Pass!

Countless guards of the pass sat together in groups, enjoying the dinner they held in their hands.

The bright moonlight shone down on them, adding a touch of serenity.

However, the murderous aura emanating from each of them proved that these people had experienced countless life- and- death battles.

Another day ended, and a new one would soon begin.

In the rest area of Olympus Pass, inside a bungalow built of stone, a man and a woman were sitting together with a few side dishes placed on the small table in front of them.

These two were none other than Wesley’s parents, Bruce and Selena!

"Achoo!" Suddenly, Bruce sneezed!

"Bruce, what’s wrong?" Selena placed some food into Bruce’s bowl.

"It’s nothing, it’s nothing. It must be that our son is thinking of me!" Bruce rubbed his nose, his eyes filled with tenderness as he looked at Selena.

"Cut it out, my son wouldn’t be thinking of you!" Selena said with a smile, rolling her eyes at Bruce.

"Haha, let’s eat, let’s eat. I’ve already spoken to the Marshal about our leave. It’s time to go back and see our son!"

"I miss Little Wesley too. We haven’t been back to see Little Wesley in so many years. As parents, we owe the child so much!"

Selena’s heart was filled with complex emotions. When she left, Wesley was less than a year old.

"Selena, Little Wesley will definitely be very happy to see us, because he has a Seven-Tier strength father, haha!"

"You’re so full of yourself. If my son becomes a Beast Master, he will definitely be even more powerful than you in the future." Selena giggled.

"If he’s more powerful than me, that’s even better. I have a powerful son, and I’m proud of it!"

---

The Wayne Family!

After playing with his two cute younger sisters for a while, Wesley returned to his room.

He released Lillian from the Beast Space again.

"Little Spirit Phoenix, you’ve eaten well today, so let’s start working hard to improve your strength."

Wesley waved his hand, and dozens of spirit energy ores suddenly appeared on the floor of the room.

"Chirp— Master, what about you?" Lillian flapped her wings and flew in front of Wesley.

"Master, you should go bathe and change first, then start cultivating."

Watching Wesley walk towards the bathroom, Lillian looked at the pile of spirit energy ores on the floor.

In order to keep eating delicious roasted meat in the future, Lillian landed next to the spirit energy ores and began absorbing spirit energy to improve her strength.

When Wesley finished washing up, he saw Lillian working hard to absorb spirit energy and a happy smile appeared on his face.

Immediately after, Wesley also began his cultivation, taking out the blade technique manual given to him by Natasha, God Blade Slash.

God Blade Slash First Form: Power to Uproot Mountains and Rivers, Blade Strikes Across the Sky!

It certainly looked incredibly domineering, but he didn’t know how powerful it would actually be when unleashed.

Wesley focused all of his mental energy on learning the first form of the God Blade Slash.

Perhaps it was because Wesley had high comprehension, but he quickly mastered the first form. Now, all he lacked was a suitable blade.

God Blade Slash Second Form: Clouds Part the Blue Sky, The Blade Void is Like Nothingness!

An hour later, Wesley successfully mastered the first five forms of the God Blade Slash, but got stuck on the sixth form.

"I don’t believe it!"

Another hour later, Wesley resigned himself to fate and lay directly on the bed; he still hadn’t mastered the sixth form.

He didn’t know the reason, but no matter how he tried to comprehend the sixth form according to the instructions, he just couldn’t grasp its essence.

The God Blade Slash had a total of nine forms. Having learned the first five so quickly only to get stuck on the sixth made Wesley very puzzled.

"Could the blade technique manual that Natasha gave me be fake?"

"Or is it that my strength isn’t enough, or perhaps my comprehension needs to be improved?" Wesley pondered various reasons in his mind, his face looking sullen.
