Chapter 122: Family
Unknowingly, by the time Wesley and the others had eaten and drunk their fill and walked out of the restaurant, it had already turned dark.
"Skinny, starting tomorrow, your Brother Wesley will begin to cultivate in seclusion. Don’t bother me unless there’s something important."
At the restaurant entrance, Wesley patted Billy on the shoulder and said with seven parts drunkenness.
"Pfft, cut the crap. Don’t end up with less strength than Master Fatty, that would be embarrassing, haha!"
Billy’s speech was slurred; it was clear he was drunk.
"Haha, alright, then at the Beast Taming College Entrance Exam, the two of us will show off our skills, and we can pick any of the top Beast Taming academies in Eagle."
Then Wesley hailed a taxi and put Billy in.
"Where to?" The taxi driver asked, turning around.
"Driver, go to the Kent Family!"
"My brother is drunk, please drive slowly on the road!"
Wesley looked at the middle-aged driver and replied with a smile.
"The Kent Family?" the driver muttered.
There might not be many families surnamed Wang in Aquilopolis City, but there were at least seven or eight.
"Driver, go to the Kent Family on Dingdong Road!"
Seeing the driver’s expression, Wesley said again.
"The Kent Family on Dingdong Road!"
When the driver heard this, his reaction was huge.
There was only one Kent Family on Dingdong Road, and that was the Kent Family, one of the four great Beast Taming families.
The taxi driver couldn’t have imagined that just picking up a random person late at night would turn out to be someone from the Kent Family.
"Alright, alright! I’ll definitely get you home safely!" The next second, a flattering smile appeared on the driver’s face. He was just an ordinary person, and in his eyes, the Kent Family was a behemoth.
Watching the taxi leave, Wesley stood at the restaurant entrance for a while before seeing a car stop in front of him.
The person driving was William, and sitting in the passenger seat was Warry.
"Young Master, get in!" Warry immediately got out of the car and opened the back door.
"Alright!" Wesley nodded and then got into the car.
When they returned to the Wayne Family, the Wayne Family members were also eating.
"Grandpa, your grandson is back!"
"Uncle, Second Uncle, Aunt, Second Aunt!" Wesley greeted them one by one with a smile.
"Brother!"
"Brother is back! Natalie wants to play with Brother!"
Natalie and Tina were very happy to see Wesley return, immediately getting off their seats and running over.
"Aiyo, my two cute little sisters, did you miss Brother today?" Wesley stroked the two girls’ heads, his face full of gentleness and doting.
"I did, I missed Brother very much!"
"Me too, I even saved a chicken leg for Brother, just waiting for Brother to come back and eat it."
"Little Sister Tina, that was the chicken leg I saved for Brother!"
"I saved it!"
The two little girls beamed with joy, chattering incessantly around Wesley.
"Natalie, come here. Your Brother Wesley just got back; don’t pester him as soon as he returns!"
Aunt Rosie nodded to Wesley and said to her daughter.
"Exactly, Tina, you come over too, and let your Brother Wesley sit down and eat first." Second Aunt Evanthe echoed.
"Haha, it’s fine, Aunt, Second Aunt. I’m very happy that my two little sisters are so close to me."
Wesley said, producing two Spirit Fruits out of thin air.
"Natalie, Tina, Brother have something delicious for you to eat. It’s sweet and very tasty."
"Yay, yay!"
"Brother is the best, even better than my parents!" Looking at the Spirit Fruits in their hands, the two little girls couldn’t help but drool.
The fruits were truly imbued with spiritual energy; just the fragrance they emitted was irresistible.
Hearing the two girls’ words, Barry and Second Uncle Jordan both darkened in the face.
Really, what did they mean by better than them? As parents, they couldn’t even compare to that brat Wesley.
However, once they saw that what Wesley had given their daughters were two Spirit Fruits, they couldn’t say anything.
Good grief, Wesley really doted on his two younger sisters, even giving away Spirit Fruits for them to eat.
On this point, Barry and Jordan really couldn’t do it.
Those were Spirit Fruits; the entire Wayne Family didn’t have many, and the two of them could only receive one Spirit Fruit each month.
"Hmph! You still know how to come back? Look at the good things you’ve done; your school principal has even called me."
Just then, Old Master Jordan put down his chopsticks and snorted coldly.
"Brother, Grandpa said he wants to hit you!"
"Right, Brother, you should run! Grandpa just said that when you came back, he was going to teach you a lesson."
The two little girls whispered to Wesley, directly selling out the Old Master.
Then the two girls, clutching the Spirit Fruits in their arms, obediently returned to their respective mothers’ sides.
Uncle, Second Uncle, Aunt, and Second Aunt looked at each other, secretly watching the Old Master.
Seeing this situation, Wesley knew it was because of what happened at school today, but he hadn’t expected the Old Principal to call Grandpa.
"Grandpa, I’ve already eaten outside, so I won’t disturb your meal. I’ll go back to rest first; let’s talk about anything tomorrow!"
Wesley squeezed a smile onto his face and turned to slip away.
"Stop!" Jackson shouted, how could he not understand what Wesley was planning?
"Grandpa, your grandson was wrong!" Wesley turned around, lowered his head, and acted very obediently.
"You, you, full of bad ideas. Can’t you use them somewhere else? You’re going to be the death of me!"
Jackson glared at Wesley, blowing his beard and staring. Thinking of the first thing Principal Peter Walker said when he called him.
"Old Man Wesley, you really have a good grandson!"
Thinking about it left a bad taste in his mouth. What kind of thing was that to say? Wesley wasn’t born from him, really!
"Grandpa, your grandson didn’t want to do that either, but those people from Sand City were just too arrogant, looking down on everyone."
"Can’t stand them, so you buy them expired water and add laxatives to it? You really are a talent!"
As soon as Jackson finished speaking, the Uncle and the others couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst out laughing!
"Father, what Little Wesley did was wrong, it was just too mean!"
Barry took the opportunity to side with the Old Man, not speaking up for Wesley.
"Father, although Little Wesley was in the wrong, it was very satisfying, wasn’t it? In the past, people from Sand City always looked down on us in Aquilopolis City."
Second Uncle Jordan also spoke up, putting in a good word for Wesley.
This was very much in line with the personalities of the eldest and second uncles; one was straightforward and didn’t think too much, while the other was thoughtful and considered everything.
The eldest aunt and Second Aunt didn’t speak; instead, they caught a look from the Old Man and walked out with their respective young daughters.
"Little Wesley, your grandfather is just angry. Don’t talk back, just apologize obediently and it will be fine."
"That’s right, Little Wesley. Second Aunt has watched you grow up; you can’t act recklessly like this in the future."
The two aunts urged him as they passed by Wesley.
"Mm-hmm! Eldest Aunt, Second Aunt, I understand. Take care on your way."
"Natalie, Tina, Big Brother will come find you to play in a little while!"
"Yay, Big Brother!" The two little girls laughed happily.
Wesley smiled, revealing a mouthful of white teeth.
"Your school principal said that Sand City expects an explanation. He asked me to ask you: since you caused this trouble, what kind of explanation are you prepared to give?"
Jackson looked at Wesley and spoke slowly, wanting to see how his grandson would handle this situation.
"An explanation? I don’t think I owe them any explanation. On the contrary, the people from Sand City should be thanking me. I was teaching them a lesson."
"I was helping them improve their vigilance toward everything. They shouldn’t always be so arrogant; otherwise, they’ll suffer big losses!"
"When those people participate in the Beast Taming College Entrance Exam’s secret realm trials, with their lack of awareness and complete lack of caution, they won’t even know how they died."
Wesley thought for a moment before rattling off a whole bunch of nonsense.
"Hehe, Grandfather! Besides, that was just a laxative; it only gave them diarrhea. If it had been poison, they would have been dead long ago, right?"
Jackson, Barry, and Jordan were all shocked as they listened to Wesley’s sophistry.
To think he could spin it like that. He clearly hadn’t acted like a decent person, but hearing Wesley explain it, it somehow turned into a good deed of helping others.
By shifting the perspective and looking at the matter differently, he really did have a unique way of thinking.
"Hahaha, Little Wesley, your brain and your mouth... you really dare to think and dare to say anything!"
Barry laughed, but deep down, he couldn’t help wondering whether this nephew had really been born to his third brother.
His third brother’s personality was nothing like this son of his; he was such a little slippery character!
"Father, I think what Little Wesley said makes a lot of sense!" Jordan chimed in.
"Hmph, what sense? It’s all twisted logic!" Jackson stood up and continued to say to Wesley.
"You are not going to school for the time being. When you realize your mistake, then you can go."
"Grandfather, your grandson will listen to you. But if I don’t go to school, will the school agree?"
