Chapter 116: Ganging Up
However, it was impossible for them to force their way upstairs to find Wesley, so they could only wait downstairs.
But when they saw the market administrators accompanying their young master as they walked down from upstairs, smiling apologetically and being extremely respectful, it made the two even more confused.
"Should we report this matter to the Family Head?"
William muttered to himself, but in the end, he dismissed the thought. With the old man’s temper, he would likely just get scolded.
Seeing Wesley put his mask back on and walk toward the market exit, William and the other person immediately followed.
Outside the market, Clark stared gloomily at everyone coming out of the market.
Gathered around him were several of his fair-weather friends, along with their respective bodyguards, totaling over a dozen people.
"Young Master Danver, rest assured. Once that person comes out, I, your brother, will teach him a good lesson for you."
A young master said with a smile, holding a gaudily dressed woman in his arms.
"That’s right. To think someone would actually offend Young Master Danver; they really don’t take our Brown Five Tigers seriously. We must teach them a harsh lesson."
These people were naturally called over by Clark via phone; they usually hung out together.
"Young Master, that person is out!"
"Where?" Clark looked around.
He saw Wesley walking out of the market openly and honestly, heading right toward where Clark and the others were.
"That’s him, brothers!" Clark waved his hand, and leading the dozen or so people, they swarmed around and surrounded Wesley.
"Brat, you’re the one who dared to offend our Young Master Danver? You really don’t know what’s good for you!"
"Still wearing a mask, acting like some mysterious person? Have you ever heard of the name of the Brown Five Tigers!"
"If you’re smart, obediently kowtow and apologize to our Young Master Danver. Perhaps if we’re in a good mood, we’ll let you off the hook."
Before Clark could say anything, the three young masters accompanying him began to clamor at Wesley.
"Haha, Brown Five Tigers? I don’t think so. Why is there one missing? There are only four of you!"
Wesley laughed. As soon as he exited the market, he had seen this group of people led by Clark.
Blocking the exit outside the market, weren’t they just waiting for him, Wesley, to come out so they could teach him a lesson?
The few people following Clark were all good- for- nothings from second- rate families. Wesley didn’t know a single one of them, and couldn’t be bothered to know them either.
If it weren’t for the fact that Clark was Diana’s cousin, Wesley wouldn’t even bother to know him.
"Are you blind? Can’t you see there’s another person here!"
One of the young masters pointed to a person next to him and said.
Indeed, there was another person next to him, but not only was this person short in stature, his appearance was terrifyingly ugly.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn’t notice there was another person!"
Wesley held back his laughter; he really wanted to ask them if the recruitment standards for the Brown Five Tigers were really so casual, it was hilarious.
"Young Master Danver, I can’t take it! This guy dares to ignore me!" The ugly figure jumped up on the spot, waving his fists.
This appearance was even more comical; Wesley really wanted to say one thing.
"Brother, you should go sell steamed buns instead; you don’t even jump very high!"
Clark lifted a hand and took a step forward.
"I don’t care who you are. If you want to leave safely today, don’t blame me for not giving you a chance. First, kneel and apologize to me. Second, give me the blue silver stone in your hand."
Blue Silver Stone?
When the group of young masters heard Clark mention the blue silver stone, the way they looked at Wesley changed.
There was surprise, delight, and even more, intense greed!
The blue silver stone was worth a fortune; one piece would be enough for them to live lavishly for a long time.
Although they were not people who lacked money, who wouldn’t want something that could be obtained for free!
"Kneel and apologize? Give you the blue silver stone?"
"What a huge joke. Why should I?"
"Just because you are the Brown Five Cats!" Wesley also took a step forward, showing no fear of the group in front of him.
"Presumptuous! We are the Brown Five Tigers, not the Brown Five Cats. You are finished today; no one can save you!"
The dozen or so bodyguards behind the five men immediately surrounded Wesley, sneering and rubbing their fists.
In front of a window on the second floor of the Beast Master Market, Supervisor Sweety and the fat and thin administrators were standing there, watching the conflict at the market entrance below.
"Supervisor, it seems the young master of the Wayne Family has run into trouble. Should we step in and help him?" Motu asked, cupping his hands toward Supervisor Sweety.
"No need!" Supervisor Sweety said calmly, shaking her head.
"As long as it’s outside the market, it’s not our business. Stop watching and go do your jobs."
Supervisor Sweety wasn’t worried about anything happening to Wesley; rather, she felt it was ridiculous for those people to provoke him.
The Wayne Family had sent two Five-Tier Beast Masters to protect Wesley in secret; how could they just watch him get hurt?
"Do you want to do this here? I actually have a suggestion. Why don’t we change locations?"
Wesley looked at Clark and pointed at the growing crowd gathering at the market entrance.
No matter the time, there was never a shortage of people looking for excitement!
Hearing Wesley’s suggestion, Clark and the other four were dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.
No, does this guy have something wrong with his brain?
Knowing he was about to get beaten up, instead of trying to run away, he was actually thinking for them and suggesting a change of place to get beaten up.
Indeed, with so many people watching, if they started fighting directly, the impact would certainly be bad. If it dragged on, people from the Management Bureau would arrive.
Originally, they thought Wesley was so unfazed because he was betting they wouldn’t dare to make a move in broad daylight in front of so many people.
They never expected that the person being beaten would be so understanding and thoughtfully suggest changing locations.
Should they call this guy brave, or just plain stupid?
"Fine! You’ve got guts. Let’s see if you’re still this brave in a moment!"
Clark clapped his hands. Although he didn’t understand, Wesley’s suggestion to change locations played right into his hands.
Finding a place where no one was around and giving this guy a good thrashing would mean he’d have nowhere to turn for help!
The other four young masters also wore expressions of anticipation, waiting to see a good show. Since this guy dared to call them the Brown Five Cats, they wouldn’t be the Brown Five Tigers if they didn’t cripple him.
"Hey, that’s more like it. I know a place, it’s quite secluded. Come on, follow me!"
Wesley felt equally cold inside. As for these few jerks today, he had to beat them until even their own mothers wouldn’t recognize them.
Thus, Wesley walked brazenly in the front, followed closely by the dozen or so people led by Clark.
Seeing there was no excitement to watch, the people gathered at the market entrance dispersed one after another.
Following them to watch the fun was just asking for trouble.
One look at Clark and his group showed they were young masters from some family, and they weren’t people to be trifled with.
Only two people followed Wesley and the others at a leisurely pace.
—
Aquilopolis City, an abandoned factory!
"Everyone, this place is not bad, right?"
Wesley looked at the dozen or so people standing opposite him and asked with a smile, "But I still want to ask you, are you sure you want to attack me?"
Clark signaled the people beside him.
"You picked this place yourself. Today, we’re definitely beating you!"
The dozen or so bodyguards immediately pulled out clubs and blades, surrounding Wesley.
Five Three-Tier Beast Tamers and eight Two-Tier Beast Masters, the strength and level of these bodyguards were higher than Wesley’s.
"Damn, ganging up on me? Do you think I don’t have anyone on my side?"
Wesley pointed at Clark, then clapped his hands.
"Uncle William, I’ll leave these dozen or so people to you!"
Before the words faded, two people appeared behind Wesley, both with their faces covered.
William and Warry covered their faces because they didn’t want to reveal their identities in front of Clark and his group.
Even the young master was wearing a mask, which clearly had a reason, so they naturally couldn’t ruin his plans.
The two masked men who appeared suddenly made the dozen bodyguards stop in their tracks, eyes wide.
These two had managed to evade their senses and appear silently; they must have considerable strength.
It was very likely their strength was higher than theirs, otherwise, they wouldn’t have failed to notice them.
"Go on! Why have you stopped? What are you afraid of with one person? Beat him hard for me!"
Clark urged his bodyguards as he saw them stop. Since they were blocked from view, the five of them naturally didn’t see the suddenly appeared William and his companion.
The dozen bodyguards looked at each other, unable to gauge the strength of the two who had appeared, but upon hearing Clark’s order, they had no choice but to bite the bullet and charge.
