Chapter 115: Trade Complete
"Giggle! Cut it out, you smooth talker. Your father was incredibly cold and aloof back then; he wasn’t as talkative as you."
"Er, this!" Wesley smiled awkwardly. He was him, and his father was his father; they were two different people, so they definitely wouldn’t be the same!
"Um, Aunt Sweety, you didn’t just call me here to chat about family matters, right? Also, you still haven’t told me how you knew my identity."
Wesley knew that Sweety calling him over definitely wasn’t just for "reconnecting," and he also wanted to know how his identity had been exposed.
"You, ah. Aunt Sweety can tell you, but you first have to tell Aunt Sweety where you got the blue silver stone in your possession, and whether you have any more."
Sweety rested her chin on her hand, her red lips parted slightly, and she stared directly at Wesley.
Wesley was sitting opposite Sweety. Due to the angle, combined with Sweety’s current posture, because Sweety was wearing a low-cut black shirt on her upper body, Wesley caught a glimpse of the snowy white scenery.
It had to be said that Sweety currently looked only a few years older than Wesley; she didn’t look like someone in her thirties at all.
"Aunt Sweety, I obtained the blue silver stone in the secret realm. I do indeed have some more on me."
Wesley looked elsewhere and said slowly.
"Secret realm? The Green Valley Secret Realm!"
"That’s right, that’s right. You just came out of training in the Green Valley Secret Realm. I didn’t expect there to be blue silver stone in the Green Valley Secret Realm."
A trace of surprise appeared on Sweety’s face, and she was completely unaware that her neckline was gaping open until Wesley gave a dry cough, at which point she straightened her posture.
"Ahem!"
"This little rascal, he saw it a long time ago and didn’t even bother to remind me earlier. Really!" Sweety cursed inwardly.
After the atmosphere in the office was quiet for a few seconds, it was Wesley who broke the silence.
"Aunt Sweety, you aren’t saying anything and just keep looking at me; I’m starting to feel embarrassed."
"Hmph!" Sweety snorted coldly before she began to speak.
"The reason I was able to recognize your identity was that I noticed you the moment you took out the blue silver stone."
"Also, one of the two Five-Tier Beast Masters from the Wayne Family who are secretly protecting you is someone I recognize; he used to be with your Barry."
Once Sweety said this, Wesley understood. It turned out it wasn’t a problem on his end, but rather that William and the other person had indirectly exposed his identity.
His uncle was responsible for all of the Wayne Family’s external business, and since Sweety was the supervisor of the Beast Master Market, the two naturally had dealings in business.
And since William had previously been working by his uncle’s side, it was normal for Sweety to know William.
"Little Wesley, Aunt Sweety won’t hide things from you anymore. I called you here because I want to purchase some blue silver stone from you."
Sweety spoke frankly and got straight to the point, rising to walk in front of Wesley.
"This!" Wesley thought quickly in his mind. "Aunt Sweety, how much do you need?"
"How much? Does that mean you have a lot of blue silver stone on you!" Surprise mixed with joy appeared on Sweety’s face.
"Naturally, I want as much as you have!"
She had previously thought that Wesley wouldn’t have too much blue silver stone, but hearing his response gave her an unexpected surprise.
As the supervisor of the Beast Master Market, Sweety had recently received orders from her superiors to keep an eye out for weapon forging materials and to collect as much as possible.
"If it’s fifty pieces of blue silver stone, can Aunt Sweety handle that?"
Wesley held up five fingers. He currently still has over 100 pieces of blue silver stone in his Beast Taming Space.
Taking out fifty pieces for the transaction was enough; he wouldn’t trade the rest, as he wanted to keep them for future use.
"How many?" Sweety’s breathing became rapid, causing her chest to heave.
"Fifty pieces!"
So many!
Wesley could actually take out so many pieces of blue silver stone to trade; just how much blue silver stone did he obtain in the secret realm?
This was something Sweety dared not imagine. After all, blue silver stone was an excellent material for forging weapons. Under normal circumstances, who would be willing to take it out for trading, let alone taking out so much at once?
There was only one possibility: this person had a lot of blue silver stone in his possession, and taking out dozens of pieces to trade was just a drop in the bucket.
"I don’t know why Aunt Sweety is so excited. The value of fifty pieces of blue silver stone is not a small amount."
Wesley’s thoughts were different from Sweety’s; he was worried that Sweety couldn’t handle so much blue silver stone.
Just taking one piece of blue silver stone at thirty million, fifty pieces would be 1.5 billion in Eagle currency; this was not something that could be easily produced.
"Very good, Little Wesley. I will take all fifty pieces of blue silver stone!"
Sweety didn’t even look at Wesley’s surprised expression, but continued, "Blue silver stone is extremely precious. The market price is generally between 30 million and 40 million."
"How about this: I can offer 35 million per piece of blue silver stone. What do you think?"
A smile also appeared on Wesley’s face. That was an extra 5 million; he naturally nodded vigorously and agreed without even thinking.
"No problem, Aunt Sweety!" Wesley also stood up.
"However, Aunt Sweety, I have one request: I want the blue silver stone I give you to be exchanged for cultivation resources of equal value, things like spirit ore, spirit energy pill, or anything else is fine."
Upon hearing this, a strange expression appeared on Sweety’s face.
Exchanging it all for cultivation resources, what does he need so many cultivation resources for!
Could the Wayne Family possibly be lacking in cultivation resources, unable to support the cultivation of you, a One-Tier Beast Tamer, Wesley?
Although Supervisor Sweety could not understand why Wesley needed so many cultivation resources, her authority was not sufficient to produce such a large quantity on such short notice.
"Little Wesley, for this request of yours, Aunt Sweety needs to make a phone call to ask for instructions first."
"Alright, Aunt Sweety, I’m in no rush!"
Wesley understood in his heart that anyone would be unable to produce such a large amount of cultivation resources.
Then, Supervisor Sweety pushed open the office door and walked out, taking out her phone to dial a number.
"Hello! Little Sweety, what is the matter?" The phone rang for a long time before it was answered, and an aged voice rang out.
"Elder Zone, the situation is like this!"
Supervisor Sweety immediately gave a brief report on the matter of trading the blue silver stone with Wesley, as well as the requests he had made.
"Therefore, Elder Zone, this matter still requires your decision!"
After saying this, Supervisor Sweety stopped speaking and waited for Elder Zone’s reply over the phone.
Ten seconds later, Elder Zone’s voice finally rang out from the phone.
"Agree to it. If that person still has blue silver stones in his possession, you may also spend a high price to continue purchasing them!"
"Yes, Elder Zone!" Supervisor Sweety acknowledged, and after the call hung up, she walked back toward her office.
---
Talonia State!
In a high-spec conference room, the old man sitting at the head of the table handed the phone in his hand to the middle-aged man standing behind him.
"Wesley of the Wayne Family in Aquilopolis City, that’s interesting!"
The old man thought to himself, then looked at the dozen or so people sitting before him and said, "Let’s continue the meeting. The Beast Taming College Entrance Exam is coming up soon. From now on, this matter must be prioritized. The new generation of young Beast Masters is where our hope lies."
The dozen or so people nodded frequently, and the aura emanating from them was exceptionally majestic.
---
Beast Master Market!
Inside an office on the second floor!
Wesley and Supervisor Sweety, no, it should be Wesley’s Aunt Sweety, were chatting happily.
Upon learning that Supervisor Sweety had agreed to his request and had already arranged for people to prepare the cultivation resources, Wesley was very happy; he would not be lacking cultivation resources for a short time.
"Little Wesley, if you have any more blue silver stones, Aunt Sweety can purchase them all here; there is no need to go downstairs to set up a stall."
"You can rest assured with Aunt Sweety here; I definitely won’t let you suffer a loss!"
When Supervisor Sweety took Wesley to the market warehouse to collect the cultivation resources, she walked and chatted, using her words to probe Wesley.
"Haha, Aunt, you can rest assured. If there are any more blue silver stones, I will definitely prioritize giving them to my Aunt!"
Wesley was all smiles, dropping the "Sweety" and calling her just Aunt.
This relationship with Aunt Sweety was, for him, not just about this blue silver stone deal; in the future, Wesley would have great use for this Beast Master Market.
Supervisor Sweety’s position as the market supervisor meant she was effectively the highest person in charge of the market under normal circumstances.
As the old saying goes, it’s easier to get things done when you have connections!
Half an hour later, Wesley walked down from upstairs, feeling very pleased. The people accompanying him were naturally the two market administrators, one fat and one thin.
As for these two, Wesley had gained a simple understanding of them.
Both were Three-Tier Beast Tamers. The one fatty was named Motu, and the tall, thin one was named Patlu!
"Brother Motu, Brother Patlu, no need to see me off!"
Motu and Patlu naturally knew Wesley’s identity, the young master of the Wayne Family, and that he had a good relationship with their supervisor.
Being able to serve as administrators in the Beast Master Market, the two were naturally quick-witted, so they were even more courteous to Wesley.
"Alright, Young Master Wesley, come visit often when you have time!"
"Sure, no problem!" Wesley waved his hand.
William and the other person had been waiting downstairs for Wesley to come down, but after a long time, they hadn’t seen him, and the two began to feel anxious.
Why would the market supervisor, out of the blue, want to see the young master, and why did they stay upstairs for so long? The two had many questions in their hearts.
