Chapter 112: Selling Blue Silver Stone
Wesley had previously given the Wayne Family a few sacks of blue silver stones; William and the others naturally didn’t know about this.
They also wouldn’t have thought that Wesley could obtain so many blue silver stones from the secret realm; no one would believe it if told!
"Warry, you watch the young master here; I’ll go report this matter to the family head."
"Mm-hmm!" Warry nodded.
William said to the person beside him, then walked to a deserted corner and called Jackson.
"Family Head, it’s bad!"
As soon as the call connected, William said anxiously.
Hearing William’s anxious tone, Jackson raised an eyebrow.
"Speak, what happened? Did Little Wesley encounter danger again?"
William and the others were sent by Jackson to protect Wesley in the shadows. Now they suddenly called him with such an anxious tone.
The first thing that came to Jackson’s mind was that his grandson wouldn’t have encountered any danger again, something even the two Five- Tier Beast Masters, William and the other, couldn’t solve.
"Could it be that the Paul Family head personally took action, having found out that it was Wesley who killed Logan in the secret realm!"
"Family Head, today the young master set up a stall at the Beast Master Market!"
William immediately spilled out everything about Wesley setting up a stall in the market to sell blue silver stones.
Hearing that Wesley hadn’t encountered danger, Jackson’s tense mood relaxed.
"William, next time you speak, can you not be so jumpy? It’s just selling blue silver stones; what’s the big deal."
Jackson was an old fox; he knew Wesley must still have blue silver stones in his hands, so he didn’t think much about Wesley selling blue silver stones.
Now the Wayne Family had hundreds of blue silver stones; Wesley selling a few blue silver stones naturally wouldn’t make his heart ache.
"I know about this matter; you don’t need to worry about it!" After Jackson finished speaking, he hung up the phone.
"Little Wesley went to sell blue silver stones; he must be short on money!"
"My grandson has grown up; he even knows how to be self- reliant and earn money!"
After pondering for a few seconds, Jackson called his eldest son again, telling him to transfer a sum of money to Wesley as pocket money.
"Father, why should I send money to Little Wesley for no reason?"
Barry listened to the old man’s instructions over the phone, feeling a bit puzzled.
"Just do it if I tell you to. Why so much nonsense? Remember, do it immediately!"
Then came the busy signal as Jackson hung up the phone.
"The old man must have forgotten to take his medicine today. I just asked a question, why is he so angry? Seriously!"
Barry sat in his boss chair, curled his lip, and casually picked up a document to continue reading.
If Jackson knew that Wesley still had many blue silver stones and planned to sell them all. Jackson would definitely stop Wesley from such wasteful behavior. This was simply squandering a precious treasure.
Shifting the scene back to the Beast Master Market, William, who had been scolded by Jackson, stood there silently, not understanding why he had been reprimanded.
The young master was selling blue silver stones; surely that wasn’t a small matter!
If he had known he would get scolded, William would never have made that report call.
He basically walked right into that scolding; it was truly unbelievable!
Meanwhile, Wesley waited calmly for someone to patronize his stall.
The spot he had chosen didn’t have many stalls around it, and the few stall owners were busy soliciting their own business, paying no attention to what Wesley was selling at his new stall.
As time passed, Wesley finally welcomed his first customer, a woman who looked quite attractive.
The woman was dressed simply in a blue lace- trimmed dress that reached just below her calves, with a pair of white sandals on her feet.
Her name was Jean, and she was a Three-Tier Beast Tamer. She had come to the Beast Master Market today intending to pick out a Contracted Beast for her younger brother.
But the market was just a market; although the prices were cheap, there were no Contracted Beasts that satisfied Jean.
Then she happened to stroll over to Wesley’s stall and saw the few blue silver stones on it.
"No way, that should be a blue silver stone, right?"
Jean’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Her family was only a third-rate family in Aquilopolis City. She had only heard others talk about blue silver stones or seen pictures of them; this was her first time seeing the real thing.
"Stall owner, is this a blue silver stone?"
Wesley looked at the woman in front of him and replied in a slightly hoarse voice, "Yes, do you need one?"
How could someone not recognize a blue silver stone? Wesley lost interest in the woman.
If she didn’t even recognize a blue silver stone, she certainly couldn’t afford it!
Receiving a positive answer, Jean was overjoyed. It seemed her trip to the Beast Master Market hadn’t been in vain.
Even if she only bought one blue silver stone, it would be considered finding a treasure.
There were five blue silver stones in total on the stall. Regarding the price of blue silver stones, Jean didn’t think she could buy them all.
"Stall owner, how much are you selling these for?"
"Thirty million Eagle Federation currency each, or you can exchange them for cultivation resources of equal value."
Wesley said it casually. He had stated a conservative price; after all, no one would normally take blue silver stones out to sell.
"Okay, I’ll buy one!" Jean thought for a few seconds and continued, "I have twenty-five million Eagle Federation currency here, plus some cultivation resources; that should be enough in total."
Hearing this, Wesley took another careful look at the woman before saying, "Fine, feel free to pick one!"
Jean carefully picked up a blue silver stone and immediately put it into her Beast Taming Space.
Although the conversation between Wesley and Jean wasn’t loud, it was still heard by some people.
"Blue Silver Stone?"
Hearing the key words ’blue silver stone’ caused five or six people to immediately gather around Wesley’s stall.
"This really is a blue silver stone!"
"Hmm! The quality looks quite good; it belongs to the top grade!"
"Stall owner, name your price. I’ll take them all!" A pot-bellied middle-aged man pointed at the remaining four blue silver stones, his tone full of confidence.
Wesley restated the price and then stopped talking, watching the expressions of these people.
A few people showed a hint of surprise upon hearing the price; it was obvious they couldn’t afford it.
After all, most people who come to browse the Beast Master Market are here to hunt for bargains; truly wealthy people wouldn’t come here.
"Stall owner, your price is a bit high. Can you make it cheaper?"
The pot- bellied middle- aged man also looked troubled; his entire net worth only amounted to enough to buy two.
"No! If you all feel the price is too high, you can go check out other stalls!"
Wesley shook his head. The reason he came to the Beast Master Market to sell blue silver stones was to see what the reaction would be.
However, it seemed that the market here couldn’t digest the many blue silver stones he had on hand.
"Let’s go, let’s go. What a pity!"
The few people’s eyes were full of reluctance to part with the blue silver stones, but their strength didn’t allow it; they couldn’t afford even one.
The departure of those few didn’t affect Wesley’s stall; on the contrary, more and more people gathered around.
Wesley’s stall immediately became highly sought after, attracting many people. Even some of the other stall owners stopped selling their goods and all came over.
As soon as William and Warry saw so many people surrounding the young master’s stall, they kept a close watch on everyone’s every move.
Although the Beast Master Market strictly prohibited conflicts between Beast Masters, blue silver stones were, after all, rare treasures, so it was hard to guarantee that no one would take the risk.
"Blue silver stone, this is good stuff. Usually, it’s priceless and hard to find. Stall owner, I want one, I offer forty million Eagle Federation currency!"
Wesley looked up at the person who spoke: a bald man with a large gold chain around his neck and sparkling gold rings on his hands.
He looked like a rich person. Just as Wesley was about to speak, another voice rang out.
"I offer forty-five million!"
Wesley and the bald man immediately looked in the direction the voice came from.
It was a young dandy dressed in expensive clothes, with two bodyguards in black suits standing behind him.
"Clark!"
Wesley thought to himself, he didn’t expect it to be an acquaintance.
Clark was from the Danver Family and was Diana’s cousin, one year older than Wesley!
Since childhood, Clark had harbored great hostility toward Wesley, the reason being that Diana was his fiancée.
Therefore, there had been many frictions between the two in the past, and in his heart, Wesley had only ever felt disgust for this playboy, Clark.
"I offer fifty million!" The bald man was preparing to bid again, but he was interrupted by Clark just as he opened his mouth.
"I am Clark of the Danver Family. Are you sure you want to compete with me?"
As soon as these words were spoken, many people’s faces revealed expressions of surprise and fear.
The Danver Family was one of the four major families in Aquilopolis City; their strength and foundation were not something these people could compare with.
Although the bald man had money, his expression changed significantly upon hearing that the young dandy was from the Danver Family, and he began to weigh the pros and cons.
