Chapter 111: Setting Stall
On the playground!
Billy was chatting and laughing with a few classmates, discussing the people from Sand No. 1 High School, saying things like they were possessed by the God of Farts, and each one was louder than the last.
Then he received the message sent by Wesley. Opening it, he saw: [Skinny, situation is bad, scram quickly!]
"Fine, Dog Wesley, you didn’t call me when you ran off, you just slipped away alone!"
Billy cursed internally while brainstorming how to slip away. Staying behind was impossible; he couldn’t handle facing Hell King Charles’s rage alone.
[Dog Wesley, wait for Master Fatty!]
After replying to the message, Billy walked up to Teacher Charles with a beaming smile.
Teacher Charles was alone now; Teacher Lily had already gone to the restroom to check on how her students were doing.
"Something up?" Teacher Charles asked as he looked at Billy’s expression.
"Teacher Charles, have you seen Wesley? I’m looking for him for something."
"Wesley went home!" Teacher Charles answered subconsciously.
"Oh, alright then, I’ll go find him!" Billy said and started to leave.
"Stop!" Teacher Charles called out to Billy.
"Confess honestly, did you do something bad?"
Teacher Charles’s expression was serious. Wesley had just left, and now Billy wanted to leave too; it was highly likely these two idiots had done something again.
Billy was startled upon hearing Teacher Charles’s question.
"Teacher Charles, don’t try to trick me, I didn’t do anything."
"Really!"
"Yeah, yeah, it couldn’t be more real!"
Just as Teacher Charles was about to say something else, Teacher Lily’s voice came from afar.
"Teacher Charles, call 120 quickly!"
Hearing this, Teacher Charles stopped bothering with Billy and immediately dashed over.
Billy breathed a sigh of relief and also left the playground at lightning speed.
Not long after, all ten students from Sand No. 1 High School were sent to the hospital.
A grim-faced Teacher Charles pointed at the other five students who had gone to buy water with Wesley.
"You five, come here!"
The five of them knew exactly what was going on; one look at Teacher Charles’s expression, and they knew that what they had done couldn’t be hidden anymore.
"Speak, what did you all do?"
The five unlucky guys looked at each other, none of them daring to be the first to speak.
The other students didn’t know what had happened either, but seeing Teacher Charles’s expression, which suggested he was about to explode in anger, they all became silent as cicadas in winter.
"Fine, not talking, are you? You guys are really something!"
Teacher Charles looked at the mineral water bottles placed on the ground, extended his hand, and one bottle was sucked over to him.
"Look at this, I asked you to go buy water, and you bought expired water."
Looking at the clearly expired mineral water, Teacher Charles unscrewed the cap and sniffed it.
Although he couldn’t smell anything, the doctor had just said that the ten people from Sand City had all consumed a large amount of laxatives, which was why they had diarrhea.
"Teacher Charles, this!" One of the five just started to speak when Teacher Charles waved his hand to cut them off.
"No need to say anything. Since you five won’t talk, each of you go take a bottle of this water and drink it!"
As for letting them drink that water, the five of them naturally wouldn’t.
Are you kidding me? There was a lot of laxative added in there. If they drank it, wouldn’t they be just like the people from Sand No. 1 High School, suffering from non-stop diarrhea?
"Teacher Charles, we were wrong!"
The five of them hurriedly lowered their heads to admit their mistake, though they didn’t feel a shred of regret in their hearts.
"Hmph, whose idea was it?"
Afterwards, the five of them didn’t dare to hide anything and confessed everything in detail.
It was all Wesley’s idea, but they had all agreed to it.
Hearing the five’s confession, the rest of the students suddenly realized; no wonder the people from Sand No. 1 High School had collectively released poison gas bombs.
So that was the root of it. Many people had stunned expressions on their faces.
Expired water was one thing, but adding laxatives to it as well?
Watching the people from Sand No. 1 High School get messed with like that was indeed amusing, but it was truly malicious!
You, Wesley, are truly a talent!
The exchange tournament was temporarily halted, and Teacher Charles let the other students leave.
He only left behind the five unlucky ones, who followed Teacher Charles to the training room.
Soon, the wails of the five echoed throughout the training room.
"Ouch, Teacher Charles, take it easy!"
"Teacher Charles, we were wrong!"
Wesley and Billy had run away, so having no way to vent his anger, he could only take it out on the five of them first.
"You all have grown quite capable, haven’t you? You can even pull off something like this!"
"Is it that I, Teacher Charles, can no longer lift my blade, or have you all become too arrogant?"
"Stand up! Let me see what kind of strength you have. You’re infuriating me!"
I don’t know how much time passed, but the door to the training room opened. Teacher Charles walked out and went straight to the principal’s office.
Afterwards, the five unlucky ones also walked out of the training room, but the five of them looked absolutely miserable.
Everyone was bruised and swollen, supporting each other, walking with a limp.
As for what happened afterwards, the great genius Wesley naturally didn’t know; he only heard about it from others later.
Even if he had known, he could only mourn for these five in his heart for one second!
---
Beast Master Market, Wesley had come here once again.
Just like usual, the Beast Master Market was bustling with people, incredibly lively!
This time, Wesley came in from another entrance to the market and even paid the fee for a day of setting up a stall.
He had a lot of blue silver stones in his hands, so he naturally wanted to see if he could sell them to exchange for some cultivation resources he needed.
In order not to attract attention, Wesley changed his clothes and wore a mask on his face.
Such attire was common in the Beast Master Market, and no one would find it too strange.
William, who was responsible for protecting Wesley in the shadows, was puzzled looking at his young master’s attire.
"Young Master, coming to the Beast Master Market to set up a stall?"
If this were known and spread, the dignified young master of the Wayne Family actually setting up a stall here to do business— it was truly a rare sight!
However, William did not appear to stop Wesley; his mission was to protect Wesley’s safety.
As for what the young master was doing, he didn’t need to ask; he just needed to report to the family head when he went back.
"Young man, do you want to come and take a look? I have some newly arrived, top-quality Contracted Beast here, each with extraordinary potential!"
Hearing this voice and looking towards the direction it came from, the corners of Wesley’s mouth curled into a smile.
"Isn’t this an old acquaintance, the fashionable and trendy grandpa!"
The old man still had that unique style of dress: a pair of flip-flops, pink shorts, and wearing black sunglasses!
At this moment, a young man was standing in front of him, and the young man was also looking at the few Contracted Beasts on the old man’s stall.
"Alright, he’s starting to swindle people again!"
Wesley didn’t look at the old man again, but instead found a spot with fewer people to set up his stall.
A small folding stool, a black cloth spread on the ground in front of him, and then he took out a few blue silver stones and placed them on top.
That was it, sitting and waiting for buyers to come!
As for the price of the blue silver stones, Wesley didn’t write it down; anyway, this item was priceless and hard to find, and Wesley naturally knew the market price.
Wesley didn’t go around shouting and peddling like others; he just sat on that small folding stool, appearing very calm.
Good wine doesn’t fear a deep alley, and besides, it was a treasure like the blue silver stone; there would surely be plenty of people who needed it.
Meanwhile, William and another Five-Tier Beast Master from the Wayne Family, who were hiding in the shadows, gasped after seeing what Wesley was selling at his stall.
As Five-Tier Beast Masters, the two naturally recognized it at a glance: it was the blue silver stone, the blue silver stone that could be used to forge divine weapons.
"How could the young master have such a treasure on him?"
William couldn’t figure it out at all. Could it be that the young master stole it from the family?
One couldn’t blame William for overthinking; even though he, William, was a Five-Tier Beast Master, the weapon he used was only forged with a few blue silver stones.
Don’t underestimate the fact that only a few blue silver stones were integrated into the weapon; when facing monsters, it could cause immense damage to them.
If it were a weapon forged entirely from blue silver stones, it could definitely be called a peerless weapon.
Moreover, the blue silver stone was too rare, and the Wayne Family didn’t have many. In the Wayne Family, only those who had made great contributions to the Wayne Family could use weapons forged with blue silver stones.
