Chapter 355: Chapter 335: To the Trash Center Again

Unlike their arrival, when the group disembarked from the cruise ship, Demo Did’s car had already been given permission to pull right up and wait for them.

This special treatment was, of course, all thanks to Fang Chenyi.

The three of them boarded the same Lamborghini van they had taken before. Demo Did was still clutching the Mona Lisa, chuckling to himself.

"Heh heh, this painting is just too precious. Its value is simply immeasurable. But don’t you worry, Boss. From now on, whenever I see any of your Huaxia artifacts, I’ll be sure to acquire them and send them all your way."

Fang Chenyi just smiled at his words and said nothing more. While the painting might be priceless in the eyes of Demo Did and his men, Fang Chenyi himself wasn’t particularly impressed by it.

Perhaps it was just that he couldn’t appreciate foreign art.

The van headed back toward the same building as before, stopping at the entrance half an hour later.

After getting out of the van, his eyes swept over to the garbage disposal area where he’d previously found the world-famous gun. Fang Chenyi couldn’t help but feel an itch of anticipation. Picking up Xiaojin was one reason he hadn’t gone straight to the airport, but the main reason was that countless other treasures were waiting for him here.

This place was different from home; there were all sorts of treasures here that he’d never find back in Huaxia.

"Boss? Boss?"

Seeing Fang Chenyi suddenly stop in his tracks, Demo Did, still clutching the painting, called out in confusion.

At Demo Did’s call, Fang Chenyi pulled his gaze away, then flashed a smile at the two men and headed into the building.

Demo Did hurried to keep pace with Fang Chenyi, chattering about their plans for after dinner as they walked.

However, Fang Chenyi had no intention of agreeing to any post-dinner activities. He told Demo Did that he would be returning to his room to rest for a bit after the meal. Around midnight, he planned to head to the airport to catch his flight home.

’An eight-hour flight, plus the time difference... If I can sleep on the plane, I should wake up right around dawn.’

Demo Did couldn’t change Fang Chenyi’s decision. Upon entering the building, he told Fang Chenyi he needed to put the painting in his safe first, then led him to his office.

After carefully placing the painting inside the safe, Demo Did still felt uneasy, so he called in two security teams to stand guard outside the office.

Meanwhile, Fang Jinjin, having received a call from Fang Chenyi, came downstairs with Demo Did’s young wife.

The moment she saw her older brother, Fang Jinjin immediately pouted.

"Hmph! So you guys finally decided to come back! You went out to have fun and left me all alone in the hotel. Hmph! Just you wait, I’m going to tell Menghan all about this when we get back."

Seeing his sister’s angry pout, Fang Chenyi felt a sense of helplessness. He hadn’t gone to the cruise ship for fun. While he hadn’t expected it to be quite so dangerous, he had guessed it wouldn’t be entirely safe.

That was why he had gone to great lengths to convince Fang Jinjin to stay at the hotel.

Fortunately, her day hadn’t been too boring. Demo Did’s young wife had taken her on a proper tour of Dubai, all under the protection of their bodyguards.

After finally placating his younger sister, the group went out for a grand feast.

His gaze fell upon a whole roasted camel not far from their table, golden-brown and glistening with fat. Fang Chenyi couldn’t help but inhale deeply, thinking to himself, ’This stuff is actually really good. It’d be great to bring one back for Mom, Dad, and Menghan to try.’

His eyes scanned the camel. After a quick estimate, he figured there was more than enough room for it in his woven bag space.

So, he pointed at the massive camel and said to Demo Did,

"Old Di, have them roast another whole one later and send it to my room."

Uh...

’What does the Boss mean by that?’ Demo Did wondered. ’Isn’t this enormous one enough for all of us? And why send it to his room? Is he planning to have it as a midnight snack?’

Of course, despite his confusion, an order from the Boss was an order that had to be carried out.

Not one to wait, Demo Did immediately waved over a nearby attendant.

"Add another roasted camel. Find the youngest, most succulent one you have, and get it roasting with this one. When it’s done, have it sent to my Boss’s room."

The attendant bowed and left to make the arrangements. A short while later, several staff members wheeled in another prepared camel and set it up to roast alongside the first one.

Fang Chenyi skipped the hard liquor and stuck to beer. A swig of ice-cold beer followed by a bite of roasted camel... Tsk, tsk, it was a flavor combination unlike any other.

Then there was Fang Jinjin. It was a mystery how her slender little frame could hold so much food.

She wasn’t drinking alcohol either, sticking to soda. A sip of soda, a bite of camel meat... in no time at all, she had polished off a huge plate of it. When she was done, she let out a contented burp, patted her little stomach, and beamed with satisfaction.

Beside her, Qi Xiaotian was eating even faster and more ferociously than Fang Jinjin. The guy seemed to have a particular fondness for roasted camel. He barely touched the myriad of other delicacies on the table, and in just a few huge bites, he had managed to devour an entire camel leg.

After finishing, he picked up a napkin to wipe his mouth, then set down his chopsticks and sat bolt upright, watching everyone else eat.
