Chapter 531: Date of marriage
A/N: Haha, I know I am a little late but I am thinking of changing the system prompt from "System" to [System]
Tell me if you want to keep it in square brackets or double quotation marks.

"It will take a few years for this place to return to normal," I sighed, looking at the devastation I had caused. The Dome Argus had been leveled to the ground, with numerous cracks in reality at its centre where the lightning had struck me. The surrounding icebergs bore cracks on their surfaces, with heavy snow shifting in other places. The whole area was extremely unstable due to the radiation of residual energy.
I took a pair of shirt and trousers from the inventory, tied my hair back, and ordered,
"Vivi, show me the stats."

"I am still nowhere near the level of my body in Vyoman," I muttered, shaking my head. "No wonder the True Sages were no match for me."
My physical stats in the other body were close to two thousand, numbers I would not be able to reach with this body even if I broke through to the ninth level. Combining those stats with mythical transformation, Sovereign lightning, the blessings of the beast gods, and sword aura was what allowed me to bridge the gap to the Eternal Sage and fight against them.
However, I could access neither the divinity nor the blessings in this body. Even with the Extreme Yin or Yang transformation, I could only fight someone at the third or fourth level of True Sage, still far from whatever level Doom must be at. Not to mention, if I went all out now, the world would also suffer from my power.
"I will save the worries for later," I said, waving the screen away with my hand. "I should first check how much damage I caused from the ascension."
A few hours later, a jet landed on the snowy terrain to pick me up. It was a two-seater fighter jet with a sharp, pointed front.
The pilot had lost all color from his face as he opened the canopy, completely shocked by the destruction he had seen along the way. Yet he did not ask me a single question, too afraid to even meet my eyes. Once I settled in, he put on his mask and flew the jet again.
My eyes never left the white, ruined land below, with its broken icebergs and massive cracks running across the ground.
Even at the jet’s incredible speed, it took us several hours to reach the military air force station on the outskirts of Delhi.
I knew what was waiting for me outside. Several ministers of the ruling party and military generals, whom I had been trying to avoid as much as possible, were already there.
I did not want to become a pawn for them or anyone else seeking more political support from the citizens. So I did what I always do whenever I am about to be surrounded by them.
As soon as the jet’s canopy opened, I leapt out, soaring several hundred metres into the air, and landed on the roof of a commercial building outside the airbase, where I sensed a familiar presence.
"Were you trying to destroy the world or something?" Aryan said in an exasperated tone, though the proud smile on his face betrayed his shock.
My eyes narrowed at his forearms, where several marks and slashes were visible.
"They’re my trophies," he said, sensing the worry on my face. "Since you’re carrying the weight of the entire world on your shoulders, this is the least I can do to support my little brother."
"Don’t push yourself too hard," I said, tapping his shoulder. "Or sister Aisha will get mad at you again."
"Right back at you," he scoffed, pulling me into a headlock with one arm while ruffling my hair with the other. "Your two beautiful maidens are waiting to become your wives."
"Where are they?" I asked, my tone clearly excited.
"Cleaning up the mess you created," he replied, sounding annoyed. "You melted the glaciers with your Ascension or whatever, raising the sea level. They’re moving the water back to the poles and freezing it into glaciers again."
No surprise with that given their strength.
"What’s the status on the monsters?"
It had been over two weeks since I left for my breakthrough, after Ume, Nymeria, and I eliminated every major monster across the globe.
He lifted his hand off my hair and said, his tone turning serious, "Most of the boss monsters have been dealt with. Only the low levels remain, and awakeners are actively handling them. As for India, the north and east are cleared. It might take a month to get rid of the rest entirely."
"What about the casualties?"
His brows furrowed slightly, his voice turning grim.
"Around a million awakeners and three million citizens died. The actual number might be higher, since there are still many missing reports."
I gave a slight nod. "The numbers are lower than what I expected."
My words caused a flicker of shock on Aryan’s face. Of course, a calamity like this should have killed hundreds of millions, if not billions, yet the toll was surprisingly low, thanks to the early evacuation of citizens and the swift takedown of SS-Ranked rifts. Still, hearing those words from my mouth without a trace of emotion was what truly shocked Aryan.
Nonetheless, he decided not to say anything.
"Have you decided on the wedding date?" he asked, changing the topic.
"Yeah," I answered with a smile. "It’s on the 18th of January."
"Oh, the 18th..." Aryan nodded. His eyes widened slightly as he checked the date on his phone. "Bro, that’s the day after tomorrow!!!"
