Chen Man Ni drove Qin Tuo to the Tianhong Commercial Plaza in the city center.
After getting out of the car, Qin Tuo furrowed his brow slightly.
"What did you bring me here for?"
Chen Man Ni gave a mischievous smile and stuck out her tongue playfully.
"What? Can’t I ask you to come shopping with me for fun? Look at other girls’ boyfriends. Every single one of them goes out shopping with the woman they love!"
Hearing this, Qin Tuo just shook his head and gave a helpless smile.
’This girl... she never misses a chance to tease me.’
Chen Man Ni thought Qin Tuo was unhappy and quickly explained.
"There’s a very important banquet at the Lige Hotel this afternoon. I’m going to take you with me and see if we can help you make some powerful connections."

Chen Man Ni picked out clothes for Qin Tuo like a doting girlfriend.

"Qin Tuo, I had no idea you were this handsome when you’re all dressed up!"
Her eyes sparkling, Chen Man Ni walked over and began circling Qin Tuo.
She looked as if she were admiring a precious work of art!

"Haha, go look in the mirror! You have no idea how handsome you are!"
Laughing, Chen Man Ni pulled Qin Tuo in front of a full-length mirror.
One look, and Qin Tuo was even stunned by his own reflection.
In the mirror, his newly styled self stood tall and dashingly handsome. The simple, clean-cut hairstyle further accentuated his sharp, strong-jawed features.
His entire being radiated an indescribable masculine charm!
’I didn’t really care about my appearance in prison,’ Qin Tuo couldn’t help but think. ’Looks like I’m pretty competitive when I clean up well!’
But then he looked at the price tag on the clothes and couldn’t help but be flabbergasted.
"Manni, isn’t this a little expensive? This whole outfit is over a hundred thousand!"
Chen Man Ni quickly laughed.
"It’s not expensive at all! This is all top-tier international craftsmanship; it’s worth the price. Besides, you have to wear this to the banquet with me. This is the only way you’ll look good enough to be with me!"

She suddenly remembered something.
"Later, I’ll take you to buy a high-end watch. As they say, every successful man needs a good watch. And besides, we can’t have you embarrassing me, can we!"
Chen Man Ni made a funny face. Qin Tuo, however, secretly decided he would buy her a gift later as well.
"Also, if any of those infatuated girls come ask for your contact info later, you better not give it to them, or I’ll get really angry!"
Chen Man Ni puffed out her cheeks and waved her little fists, trying to look serious.
"Alright, I get it."
Qin Tuo shook his head helplessly.
"Hehe, that’s my good boy!"
Chen Man Ni gave a sweet smile and went to pay.
The saleswoman watched Qin Tuo and Chen Man Ni flirt and banter, feeling a pang of envy.
Meanwhile, Qin Tuo was looking at the full-length mirror near the entrance, turning his body to admire the new outfit.
The more he looked, the more satisfied he felt.

Watching Chen Man Ni paying at the counter, Qin Tuo couldn’t help but give another wry smile.
’I guess being a kept man isn’t so bad after all...’
At that moment, people were constantly walking past the storefront.
