Chapter 147: Chapter 147: Losing All Hope

Feng Ling, who had been the most audacious just a moment ago, stared with wide eyes, her face completely pale.

Beside her, Zhou Kexin looked slightly stunned, frozen in place and unable to speak.

A group of sales employees all stood with their mouths agape, looking utterly dumbfounded.

Qin Tuo slowly rose and walked to the front of the stage.

Instantly, a thunderous round of applause erupted!

Qin Tuo addressed the crowd:

"I don’t have much to say, so I’ll keep it brief."

Hearing Qin Tuo’s words, everyone felt a sense of unease.

The people from the sales department, in particular, had a sinking feeling that Qin Tuo was about to settle scores with them.

The group of employees was sick with regret.

Soon, only the sales department staff remained in the conference room. They all stood to the side, awaiting Qin Tuo’s judgment.

Qin Tuo’s gaze fell upon Wang Lei, and he asked with a smile:

"Wang Lei, do you think the seat I just took was appropriate?"

Wang Lei’s heart sank, but he nodded quickly.

"Replying to Chairman Qin, yes, it’s appropriate! More than appropriate! That seat was made for you!"

He adapted remarkably fast, immediately adopting a sycophantic tone.

Qin Tuo smiled again and said:

"However, I feel that you’re not quite suited for the position of sales department manager!"

Wang Lei’s heart felt as if it were bleeding. He quickly begged for mercy.

"Chairman Qin, I was wrong! I truly know I was wrong! Please, I’m begging you, just let me off the hook this once!"

Hearing Wang Lei beg for mercy, the other employees of the sales department trembled.

However, Qin Tuo remained expressionless as he said slowly:
