Chapter 142: Chapter 142: All Gathered

The scene left Hu Qihao and Zhao Peng completely stunned.

Long Wu strode forward at once and said respectfully to Qin Tuo,

"Celestial King, are you alright?"

Qin Tuo slowly shook his head and smiled.

"I’m fine. You’re right on time!"

Shame immediately washed over Long Wu’s face.

He then drew himself up straight and glared furiously at Hu Qihao.

"Hu! What the hell do you think you’re doing?"

Hu Qihao opened his mouth, but he was so stunned that no words came out.

Zhao Peng, standing nearby, was also frozen in shock. ’He never expected Long Wu to raise such a force, and all to protect Qin Tuo?’

’Damn it! Huaiyi Hall and the Cyan Fire Gang, the two largest gangs in Ming City, are both so respectful to this punk. Why the hell is that!’

Zhao Peng seethed, gritting his teeth. He racked his brain but couldn’t fathom the reason for any of it.

When Hu Qihao failed to answer, Long Wu let out a cold snort, walked right up to his face, and demanded coldly,

"Hu Qihao, what’s your next move? If you dare show Mr. Qin any more disrespect, believe me, I will wipe out your Cyan Fire Gang this instant!"

The threat weighed heavily on Hu Qihao’s heart.

Hu Qihao was already on bad terms with Long Wu. With Hong Qing still recovering and not yet back, the men he’d brought with him were no match for Huaiyi Hall.

Hu Qihao knew this was no time to play the hero. Otherwise, he might very well die here today.

And so, Hu Qihao could only shift the blame to Zhao Peng.

"Zhao Peng, you little bastard, you’re the one who dragged me into this mess! You can clean it up yourself!"

Hu Qihao spat out the words with hatred, making it clear to Long Wu that Zhao Peng had started all this.

Long Wu turned and fixed Zhao Peng with a sinister glare.

The look alone nearly made Zhao Peng’s legs give out.

Long Wu strode forward and slapped Zhao Peng squarely across the face!

Zhao Peng was so stunned by the blow that he didn’t dare to speak. He could only stand there and take it.

"Zhao Peng, I’m warning you. If you ever dare to even think about harming Mr. Qin again, I will annihilate your entire Zhao Family without a moment’s hesitation!"

Xu Min, standing nearby, could only watch her man get hit, too terrified to say a word.

Suddenly, Zhao Peng began to laugh, a wretched, miserable sound.

He had lost all face today. Not only had he been slapped multiple times, but he was also forced to grovel before Qin Tuo.

Driven completely mad by the situation, he suddenly snapped his head up and roared.

"Long Wu! My Zhao Family showed you kindness, yet you’re helping an outsider against us! You’re a goddamn ungrateful bastard!"

Long Wu, however, only sneered.

"Heh. Zhao Peng, if it weren’t for the fact that your Zhao Family once did me a favor, I would have wiped you all out long ago."

Hearing this, Zhao Peng was both furious and panicked, but he had no idea what to do.

Just as the situation reached a stalemate, two more high-end luxury cars appeared in the distance.

’Oh? Who’s showing up now?’

Qin Tuo watched with great interest.

Several bodyguards in black suits stepped out of the two cars first.

Then he saw them: Ouyang Tianqi, along with the father and daughter of the Chen Family.

The group hurried over, their faces etched with worry.

Upon seeing that Qin Tuo was unharmed, Ouyang Tianqi let out a heavy sigh of relief.

"Mr. Qin, thank goodness you’re alright! You had me worried sick!"

At the sight of Ouyang Tianqi, the faces of Hu Qihao, Zhao Peng, and the others turned several shades paler.

Only then did Hu Qihao fully realize the terrifying extent of Qin Tuo’s connections, and he deeply regretted his own foolish actions.

Chen Man Ni, however, was clearly not reassured. She began frantically patting him down, afraid he might have been injured somewhere.

"Is this really the time for that? And you’re still in the mood to joke around!"

But her face was already blushing to the tips of her ears.

Seeing so many influential figures gathered together, Hu Qihao felt his scalp go numb. He barely dared to breathe, shooting a venomous glare at Zhao Peng.

’This punk had almost gotten him killed!’

Chen Man Ni was instantly infuriated. Without saying a word, she strode forward and slapped Xu Min across the face.

Xu Min didn’t dare to retaliate or even dodge. Aggrieved tears streamed down her face.

When Zhao Peng saw his woman get hit, he didn’t dare say a damn thing!

Still not satisfied, Chen Man Ni launched into a furious tirade.

"Xu Min, you’re such a bitch! How can you go around disgusting people everywhere you go? It’s a good thing you left Qin Tuo. Otherwise, a wretched creature like you would have done nothing but drag him down for his entire life!"

Hearing these humiliating words, Xu Min’s face flushed crimson.

But in front of Chen Man Ni, she didn’t dare say a single word in her own defense.

Everyone listened in silence as Chen Man Ni berated her. No one dared to interrupt.

Just as Hu Qihao’s heart was pounding with anxiety, Long Wu asked thoughtfully,

"Celestial King, what are your intentions for these two?"

Zhao Peng and Xu Min were so terrified that their legs gave out, and they collapsed onto the ground.

They had a sinking feeling about the fate that awaited them...

Hu Qihao’s face went from pale to ashen, and he didn’t dare open his mouth.
