After all, Long Wu was the boss of Ming City’s entire criminal underworld.

The sight of Long Wu made Brother Hu’s heart pound as he anxiously wondered,

The woman in sunglasses was frightened out of her wits, but she understood she had offended someone she couldn’t afford to provoke.

Swallowing her tears, she hurriedly apologized to Qin Tuo.

"I’m sorry, sir. It was my fault for looking down on you. I’ve offended you!"

As she spoke these words, she wanted to die of humiliation.

Her current servility was a stark contrast to her earlier arrogance.

Both Long Wu and Brother Hu looked to Qin Tuo, waiting for his verdict.

At his words, both Brother Hu and the woman in sunglasses let out a sigh of relief, a great weight lifted from their chests.

Long Wu barked immediately.

Brother Hu and the woman in sunglasses quickly bowed their heads and offered their thanks.

"Get lost!"

Long Wu added coldly.

If Qin Tuo hadn’t spoken up to let them go, Long Wu would likely have had this wretched pair killed.

Not daring to even breathe a word, Brother Hu and the woman in sunglasses scurried away, scared out of their wits.

Long Wu said apologetically:

Just as he drove in, he saw Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin in the distance. They had also finished their property viewing and were on their way out.

The saleswoman was chattering away animatedly, and it was clear that both Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin were very pleased with the viewing.

The three of them seemed to be getting along splendidly.

Suddenly, Zhou Kexin recognized Qin Tuo’s used, domestically-made car, and her eyes widened in surprise.

"Hey, look! Isn’t that Qin Tuo? How did he drive in here?"

Wang Lei took a closer look and was just as shocked. He muttered to himself:

"That can’t be right. Shouldn’t that punk Qin Tuo have been beaten to a pulp by those thugs? How is he driving in here? What the hell happened?"

Just then, Qin Tuo noticed Wang Lei and Zhou Kexin as well. He slowed to a stop and rolled down his window.

Wang Lei couldn’t stop himself from demanding:

"Qin Tuo, how did you get away from those guys?"

Qin Tuo replied with a casual smile:

"I reasoned with them, and they let me leave."

Wang Lei clearly didn’t believe a word of his bullshit and turned to complain to the saleswoman.

"This guy definitely snuck in here! He’s an ex-con, he’s probably planning to steal something valuable. You need to get him out of here, now!"

The saleswoman wasn’t part of the property management team, so she didn’t recognize Qin Tuo.

She was startled to hear what Wang Lei said.

If there was a security breach, she’d be held responsible too!
