Chapter 101: Chapter 101: You’re Qin Tuo?
The atmosphere instantly grew tense, and the group of thugs was furious.
Red Hair gritted his teeth, narrowed his eyes, and asked:
"Punk, you tired of living? How dare you mess with me for fun?"
The thugs at his side also stepped forward one by one.
By the looks of it, they were about to jump Qin Tuo and teach him a lesson.
Qin Tuo, however, simply asked:
"I already gave you the money. Shouldn’t you give me the bag back now?"
Seeing how defiant Qin Tuo was, Red Hair flew into a rage. He threw a punch, determined to teach Qin Tuo a lasting lesson.
"Brother Tu, watch out!"
Han Zilin cried out nervously.
Qin Tuo, however, simply raised a hand and effortlessly caught Red Hair’s fist in a vice-like grip.
"Fall, damn you!"
Red Hair had some moves of his own. Thinking fast, he sent his other fist whistling through the air.
But Qin Tuo didn’t even glance at it. He simply yanked Red Hair’s captured arm downward.
Oof!
An immense force coursed through him, and Red Hair lost his balance completely. He toppled heavily to the ground, his body aching as if it had been torn apart.
Seeing their boss taken down so effortlessly, the other thugs, who had been ready to attack, froze in place, not daring to move.
Red Hair struggled back to his feet, clutching his arm.
From that single exchange, he already knew that Qin Tuo was incredibly powerful—far beyond his league.
Qin Tuo’s face held a faint, unreadable smile, making him look profound and inscrutable.
This made Red Hair feel even more unnerved. He could only resort to a cold threat:
"Punk, if you’ve got any balls, you’ll stay right here. I’m gonna get my guys! You dare to provoke someone from the Cyan Fire Gang? You’re a dead man today!"
Qin Tuo just chuckled. ’I can’t believe I’ve run into the Cyan Fire Gang again. It’s true what they say: you can’t avoid your enemies.’
After spitting out his threat, Red Hair left with his men.
Zhou Kexin and Han Zilin walked over, their faces etched with worry.
"Brother Tu, they went to get backup. Let’s get out of here, okay?"
Han Zilin said, concerned.
But Qin Tuo shook his head and said to Zhou Kexin:
"You take Zilin and head back. I’ll be right behind you."
Worried that something would happen to Qin Tuo, Han Zilin flat-out refused to leave.
"No! Brother Tu, why are you always trying to face the danger all by yourself!"
Zhou Kexin, however, started forcefully dragging Han Zilin toward the car.
"Sister Ke Xin, let go of me! I want to stay with Brother Tu!"
Zhou Kexin snapped angrily:
"You silly girl, is there something wrong with your head? He’s asking for a death wish, and you want to die along with him?"
Qin Tuo also tried to reassure her, calling out loudly:
"Zilin, don’t worry! When have I ever broken a promise I made to you? Just go home and wait for me, okay?"
Han Zilin opened her mouth to speak, then closed it. Tears glistened in her beautiful eyes.
To stop her from doing anything impulsive, Zhou Kexin quickly started the BMW and sped away.
Qin Tuo stood perfectly still, watching the BMW drive away.
A few moments later, a large crowd of people appeared in the distance!
Red Hair had returned with more than ten men. The one at the front appeared to be their leader.
As they walked briskly, Red Hair complained to the leader next to him about his grievance.
The leader couldn’t help but curse viciously:
"You’re a goddamn waste of space! You made all of us come out for a single kid?"
Red Hair nodded quickly, looking deeply wronged.
"Boss, you don’t get it! This kid is crazy strong! He put me on the ground in a single move!"
"Put down in one move?"
Hearing this, the tall leader narrowed his eyes.
He knew exactly what Red Hair was capable of.
Anyone who could put Red Hair down in a single blow was definitely not someone to be taken lightly.
The tall leader narrowed his eyes, fixed his gaze on Qin Tuo in the distance, and quickened his pace.
The group of thugs rushed forward and completely surrounded Qin Tuo!
Yet Qin Tuo looked completely unafraid, a placid smile on his face.
The thugs looked vicious, waiting only for their leader’s command to rush forward and tear Qin Tuo to shreds.
The leader sized Qin Tuo up for a moment before letting out a cold sneer.
"Kid, I’ve been running this street for years, and I’ve never seen anyone with as much nerve as you."
He was obviously trying to feel out Qin Tuo’s background.
Qin Tuo replied nonchalantly:
"Oh, really? Then I guess today you have, haven’t you?"
Seeing how brazen Qin Tuo was, the thugs erupted in a storm of angry curses.
But the leader asked, his face expressionless:
"Go on, kid. What’s your name?"
Qin Tuo replied in a level voice:
"My name is Qin Tuo."
Qin Tuo?
For a moment, it seemed the leader hadn’t heard him correctly. He asked again:
"What did you say your name was? Qin Tuo?"
The underlings standing by had no idea what was wrong with their boss.
Qin Tuo nodded and asked back:
"Yes. Is there a problem?"
At that, a jolt went through the leader’s mind.
He had just received an order from Hu Qihao himself, telling everyone in the Cyan Fire Gang, top to bottom, not to provoke a certain young man named Qin Tuo, or they would have to face the consequences!
’Damn it, could this kid really be the one Brother Hao warned us about...’
With this thought in mind, the leader stammered:
"Do you... Do you know Brother Hao?"
As he spoke, his eyes widened, and he waited nervously for Qin Tuo’s reply.
Qin Tuo said casually:
"You mean Hu Qihao? I know him. In fact, I just saw him over at Jinghua Garden."
What?
The leader was so scared his legs went weak.
’In all of Ming City, how many people would dare to say Hu Qihao’s full name like that?’
At that moment, he knew instantly that the man before him was the very same Qin Tuo that Hu Qihao had mentioned.
Seeing his boss’s silence, Red Hair immediately urged him on.
"Boss, what are you waiting for? Get him!"
Snapping back to his senses, the leader furiously slapped Red Hair across the face.
SLAP!
The slap left Red Hair completely stunned.
The leader practically jumped as he started screaming curses!
"You son of a bitch! Are you fucking blind? How dare you be disrespectful to Mr. Qin!"
All the thugs were stunned. ’The boss actually called this kid "Mr."?’
Red Hair was also flabbergasted.
The leader roared:
"What are you staring at? Hurry up and apologize to Mr. Qin! If Mr. Qin is unhappy, I’ll personally slaughter you!"
Only then did Red Hair realize he had provoked an incredibly important person. He hurriedly prepared to apologize.
Qin Tuo waved a dismissive hand.
"There’s no need for an apology. Just give me the bag back."
Red Hair didn’t dare utter another word. He respectfully handed the bag back with both hands.
Qin Tuo took the bag and asked casually:
"You’ve heard of me?"
The leader gave a quick, awkward laugh.
"Brother Hao just gave the order. He told everyone in the gang not to provoke Mr. Qin."
’So that’s how it is.’ Qin Tuo finally understood. This certainly saved him the trouble of having to deal with them himself.
