"Careful what you wish for," I responded icily, before unleashing a devastating blast of blue flames towards him.
The flames roared forward before engulfing him, the air ahead shimmering from the heat, before my eyes widened as the flames faded away. He hadn’t moved, having remained seated in place, a smirk on his face, and not so much as a single burn on him.
"Heh, that the best you’ve got?" He chuckled, before I quickly stepped in front of Celes as he stood up, a malevolent gleam in his eyes as he suddenly vanished from sight.
I stiffened as he reappeared right in front of me, before I quickly tranformed my right and and drove the blade towards his head, grimacing as it phased right through him.
He then shot forward, phasing through me before my chest tightened as a sharp gasp of pain rang out.
I spun around as fast as I could, my heart sinking as I saw him slam his fist onto the middle of Celes’s torso, a crunch ringing out upon impact.
Her blades were crossed in front of her defensively, but his fist and arm had passed right through, before she got sent flying back, her back slamming against the doors as she coughed out blood, before collapsing and slumping against the ground, trembling in pain.

"Huh, I held back but that did a lot more damage that I thought. I was just trying to knock her out so that I kill you...great, how am I supposed to fuck her now? Well, she is still alive, though not for long...I’ll have to kill you before she succumbs, and then I’ll-..."
"You BASTARD!!!" I yelled furiously, as I tranformed my left hand and slashed both of my blades at the back of his neck, but it was no use, they passed right through him.
"That won’t work," He smirked, before driving his arm forward, phasing his hand through my neck and grabbing my throat, crushing it with a sadistic chuckle.
I gritted my teeth before charging up flames in my throat, eliciting a hiss of pain from him as I burnt his hand before slashing at his eyes.
But my blade phased through again, before he pulled his hand out and slammed his foot against my stomach, sending me hurtling back across the space, before I unleashed a burst of flames behind me and spread out my wings to bring myself to a halt, healing my throat.
"Fuck, that hurt...," He growled, as the burns on his hand disappeared.
I let out an enraged roar as I shot forward at full speed, sending my tail zipping out towards him, before he suddenly teleported behind me, balling his fists together and slamming them against my back, the front of my body collided against the ground as the impact rattled my bones, before I rolled over as he drove his fist down towards me.
I raised my right blade up, his fist passing through it before slamming onto my chest, shattering my ribs.
"It’s no use, I can freely turn any part of my body intangible...only my knuckles are tangible right now, the rest of me is intangible," He remarked maliciously, before reaching out to grab my head.
I shakily unleashed a burst of flames from my right hand, sending myself skidding off to the left across the ground, before scrambling back onto my feet as he teleported behind me and slammed his knee against my side, launching me away before I collided against the wall, cracks spreading out upon impact as I coughed out blood and collapsed onto my knees.
"Hahahaha, we may both be Unique Monsters, but I’m clearly on a whole other level!" He cackled ecstatically.
C-Calm down...I need to calm down, I can’t beat him if I keep attacking blindly. He can teleport and turn intangible, and it looks like he can fly too, he’s hovering off the ground, likely to avoiding phasing right through.
He has more brute strength than I do, but I’m faster than he is...his intangibility is the biggest threat he poses, it’s highly versatile and he has total control over it.
Physical attacks and my flames won’t have any effect on him, I won’t accomplish anything by lashing out in anger. I’m intricately familiar with the power of intangibility, it’s a power I sparred against many times in my previous life.
I can beat him...I’ve got just the ability I need to counter his intangibility, I’ll wipe that cocky look off his face...!
