Chapter 417: Chapter 417 - Counterattack(Part 2)

"Hm...if only I was able to tell which of the other three is which Elder Vampire. Larrk’s suggestion isn’t a bad one, but if we run into Caera first, that’ll be a problem, since I’m assigned to fight her and won’t be able to use my Radar Skill to help the rest of you find your targets, other than just pointing you in the right direction," I pointed out with a frown.
"Hm, good point...but I think we should be able to manage it. Tell me, are all three presences equally strong?" Terrastra asked me.
"No, they’re all slightly different. Two are pretty close to each other in terms of how powerful they feel, and the third is a little bit weaker," I responded.
"Ah, I see what you’re getting at...Caera is the weakest of the Elder Vampires, she wouldn’t be much of a threat at all if it wasn’t for her Blood Clones. If we head for one of the stronger ones first, it’s unlikely to be her," Nodded Lucifer with a gleam in her eyes.
"Alright, then, let’s head for one of the other two...there’s one pretty close, follow me," I remarked, as I focused on the presence and veered around the building, the others following close behind me.
As I got closer to the spot where I was sensing the presence from, a large window coming into sight, I fired out a rapid, drilling rock projectile, shattering the window to pieces upon impact, before we zipped in through the opening, several Vampires coming into sight below as we entered the building.
Twenty-one of them in total, all but one are regular Vampires...and the standout is male, he must be Jagger.
"Looks like this is our stop," Terrastra called out to Tania and Ilex, the three of them swooping down as she nodded at the rest of us to go on.
"Good luck!" Exclaimed Izzy as we flew away, before Lumena created a few black holes below us as some of the Vampires began to chase after us, a couple of them getting swallowed up as we flew further into the building, leaving the trio assigned to fight Jagger to carry out their part...

Point-of-View: Ilex Sarralot

"What a pain...go on, wear them out for as long as you can," Sighed the Elder Vampire, before the remaining Vampires began to charge towards us.
"We need to wipe them out as fast as possible and-...," Began Terrastra.
"Soul Weapon Ascension: Mana Armament Level 5 - Arsenal," I chanted, before unleashing a devastating barrage of piercing Mana projectiles at the Vampires as the armor of my Soul Weapon Ascension manifested, blasting them full of holes and killing several of them as my attacks drilled through their cores.
Terrastra then followed suit and fired out a fierce volley of earth arrows at the Vampires, while Tania used her Enchantments to boost the speed of our attacks.
We wiped out the Vampires in a matter of seconds, reducing them to a pile of corpses riddled with holes on the floor.
"Come on, you could’ve at least toyed with them for a minute or something...," Muttered Jagger, before taking out a Magic Item and activating it, a large barrier starting to form around us.
"Don’t bother, that won’t work," I remarked as I took out the counter Magic Item Lumena created and activated it, Jagger’s eyes widening as the barrier shattered before it could fully form.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me."
He then quickly flew up as a wave of earth spikes burst out through the tiles on the floor and barreled towards him, flying up towards the ceiling and narrowly evading them before quickly veering across as I fired several rapid beams of Mana towards him.
He swerved out of the way as fast as he could, grimacing as a couple of my beams grazed him, carving scorched trails across his skin before he fired off a rapid, pressurized blast of blood towards me from his palm.
I swiftly flew back before firing out a sharp burst of Mana from the cannon over my chest, which collided against his blood blast and canceled it out, before several earth shards came shooting up towards him.
He zipped away as they closed in on him, just barely evading most of them before one of the shards grazed his foot...and exploded fiercely, a startled yell of pain ringing out as he got blown away and crashed onto a wall with immense force, right as a chain of explosions erupted above us as the earth projectiles he’d evaded struck the ceiling.
"Crap...maybe that was a bad idea," Muttered Tania sheepishly, as deep cracks rapidly spread out across the ceiling.
I see, she must have Enchanted Terrastra’s projectiles with an explosive effect that triggers upon impact.
"Get up. We’re far from finished with you yet...you will die here today, but rest assured, it won’t be quick. I’ll tear you apart within an inch of your life before putting you out of your misery," I growled venomously, as chunks of rubble rained down as the ceiling broke apart and caved in, loud crashes echoing out across the floor.
"I see...you must have lost a loved one when we attacked the Dark Continent. A Dragon King, a surprisingly powerful human driven by rage and vengeance, a Fairy to make your attacks even more potent...all that, on top of the fact that the moonlight barrier has been rendered useless. What a pain...," Sighed Jagger, as he pushed several chunks of rubble off his body and got back onto his feet, before quickly flying up against as the ground below him shifted, right as a towering earth spike burst out and rose up rapidly, the tip of the spike nicking the sole of his right foot as he narrowly avoided getting skewered.
He then swerved across to his right as I charged up my chest cannon and fired off a rapid, drilling beam of Mana, engulfing his left arm and wiping it out as he managed to avoid a direct hit, a grimace appearing on his face as his arm regenerated...
