Caelum first checked whether he was still capable of using his abilities.

His aura circulated normally.

His mana responded without issue.

After a brief self-inspection, he let out a quiet sigh of relief.

At the very least, he wasn’t trapped in a place that suppressed his powers.

Turning toward the others, he made a decision.

"I’ll scout the surrounding area first," he said.

"W-Why don’t you... not go?" Paul stuttered. His voice was shaky, and his grammar seemed to deteriorate due to nervousness.

The situation was already terrifying enough.

The last thing he wanted was for the strongest member of their group to wander off alone.

Caelum glanced at him but didn’t immediately answer.

Instead, Jojo spoke first.

"No, his idea is the correct one."

The panda’s expression was serious.

"He’s the strongest among us and we also need information. If all of us move together and something unexpected happens, then the situation could be disastrous."

Jojo’s eyes swept across the group.

"In the worst-case scenario, someone could die."

Nobody spoke after hearing that.

The atmosphere became considerably heavier.

"I’ll accompany him," Bonjour immediately volunteered.

Caelum shook his head.

"No, we need someone strong to remain here as well."

Then his gaze shifted toward Skyler.

"Can you still use your divine powers?"

"Yes." Skyler nodded briefly.

"But my divine power has weakened."

"Can we summon spirits?" Caelum asked.

Jojo immediately shook his head.

"No, Drifting Dimensions are usually isolated from the outside world."

That answer wasn’t particularly encouraging.

Then Jojo looked around one final time.

"And if you sense anything strange, immediately return."

"Why?" Caelum questioned.

"Because I’ve finished my preliminary observations."

Jojo looked toward the greenish sky, then toward the blood lake below.

"I believe this is a Closed World-Type Drifting Dimension."

The others immediately became nervous.

Even if they did not know about Drifting Dimensions, the name itself sounded unpleasant.

"Alright." Caelum nodded.

Without wasting any more time, he tied one end of the rope around a nearby stone.

Then he jumped off the cliff.

"AHHH! Why are you not stopping him?!" Paul screamed.

Meanwhile, using aura beneath his feet, Caelum effortlessly began running down the cliffside.

The cliff itself possessed a strange shape.

Rather than descending vertically, it curved and twisted.

The rope wasn’t actually necessary for him.

However, if the others eventually needed to descend, it would make things easier.

Several moments later, he reached the bottom.

Immediately afterward, he grabbed the rope and gave it a powerful tug.

The vibration travelled upward.

It was a sign that he had arrived safely.

The floating girl was still there almost as if she had expected him from the very beginning.

Each step propelled him forward with incredible speed.

The scenery blurred around him.

Everything became streaks of color as after nearly a minute of movement, he had crossed a distance of over two kilometers.

Only then did he finally stop.

The floating girl remained exactly where she had been.

Up close, her appearance became clearer.

She possessed long greenish hair that drifted through the air without any wind.

Her face was beautiful, unnaturally so.

Yet there was something deeply unsettling about her.

The aura surrounding her carried traces of death.

"So you’ve finally arrived, Young Master," the girl said softly.

Caelum remained vigilant.

He didn’t detect any killing intent from her but that didn’t mean he trusted her. After all they were strangers.

"Who are you and how do you know me? As far as I remember, we’ve never met."

The girl stared at him as she slowly shook her head.

"Your question is incorrect Young Master, it’s not that you haven’t met me."

A faint smile appeared on her face.

"It’s that you haven’t met me yet."

The answer only increased his confusion.

"What does that even mean?"

The girl’s expression softened, for some reason, she looked sad, as if remembering a distant memory.

"You’ll understand eventually, and my time is limited."

She pointed toward herself.

"For you, I am a ghost of time."

Caelum stared at her for several seconds, leaving her floating body, she didn’t resemble a ghost at all.

"You don’t really look like a ghost." he said.

"...That isn’t the important part." The girl replied.

"Then what is? What warning were you talking about?"

The girl’s expression immediately became serious.

"You need to stop disturbing the Earth Titan’s slumber, otherwise it will awaken and if that happens... things will become very difficult." Her voice became quieter.

"What Earth Titan? We literally arrived here a few minutes ago and we haven’t disturbed anyone yet!" Caelum frowned at the unexpected accusation.

The girl looked thoughtful.

Then she glanced toward the place he had come from.

"Well even I didn’t know the reason back then but now I think I understand."

Caelum followed her gaze.

Then he activated [Heaven Reading Eyes] once more.

Instantly, countless streams of energy appeared throughout his vision.

The entire landscape lit up.

The flow of mana moved in strange patterns.

Far too strange.

His pupils changed shape as his vision expanded.

His body became completely motionless as his breathing stopped.

It was a finger.

A colossal finger.

It was actually a great wound that had occurred to that finger.
