Chapter 107: Bullying Villainous Seniors

Caelum slowly opened his eyes.

The strange dream induced by the Dreamberry Desert had finally ended.

For a few moments, he simply sat there in silence.

"What a bizarre dream..." he muttered.

The dessert cup in his hands was already empty and Jordon Ramtalk had disappeared.

The chef had apparently escaped while everyone was distracted.

Meanwhile, Soleil was giving Ethan a very strange look.

It was the type of look someone gave after a new year’s resolve.

He quietly picked up the two remaining dessert portions.

Glancing around to ensure nobody was paying attention, he stored them inside his inventory.

The others would likely remain dazed for a while longer.

Even his own dog hadn’t recovered yet.

"Senior, when everyone wakes up, tell them I went to find Anastasia."

Soleil nodded absentmindedly, but before he could leave she remembered his action.

"Wait, what about the dessert cups you just took?"

"Uh..." Caelum immediately froze.

"I’ll return them later!"

The moment he finished speaking, he ran.

Caelum quickly moved through the festival grounds.

Some days ago, he had exchanged Private Badge information with Loreal.

After sending her a message, she had informed him of their location.

Surprisingly, they were near the Sun Chariot.

It didn’t take him long to find them.

When he arrived, however, he noticed something unexpected.

Anastasia and Loreal were speaking with several students from the Intermediate Division.

One of them appeared to be leading the conversation.

"...Princess, please give my proposal some consideration," the boy said with a polite smile.

At that exact moment, Caelum arrived.

Anastasia immediately noticed him as her attention shifted completely.

"Why are you here?"

Her tone wasn’t particularly friendly.

After all, she still remembered the messages he had sent her.

Especially the one claiming that he had met her father.

When she later asked the Emperor about it, the man had been completely confused.

The Emperor himself had apparently developed several question marks above his head.

Although he was too busy to visit the school personally, he had become very interested in reading her future conversations as he had someone hack her Private Badge secretly.

The Intermediate Division student noticed he was being ignored.

A trace of annoyance flashed through his eyes.

However, he quickly hid it.

The princess was too important to his future plans and showing displeasure would be foolish.

"And you are?" he asked while looking at Caelum.

Caelum examined him for a moment.

For some reason, the senior gave off an extremely familiar feeling.

The type of feeling associated with villains.

"Why do I feel malicious intent coming from you, Senior?" Caelum asked honestly.

"Anyways, I’m Caelum."

The senior’s smile stiffened.

"You really don’t know how to speak to your seniors, do you?" one of the boys behind him sneered.

"Hmph! Did your family fail to teach you basic manners?"

Another one immediately joined in.

The two students began verbally attacking him.

Normally, this tactic worked well against younger students.

Most children from the Foundation Division would become nervous when confronted by older students.

But Caelum was not most children.

The moment his family was insulted, his expression darkened.

He had simply come here to talk.

So why were these idiots dragging his family name into the conversation?

A cold pressure suddenly erupted from him targeting the three seniors.

The atmosphere instantly changed.

The three students felt as though a mountain had suddenly descended onto their shoulders as their breathing became difficult and expressions turned pale.

"Know your place senior, who do you think you’re talking about?" Caelum’s voice was calm.

The three seniors felt their legs tremble as genuine shock appeared on their faces.

Then, a hand suddenly poked Caelum’s side.

"Stop bullying your seniors."

Loreal glared at him.

Reluctantly, Caelum withdrew his aura as the pressure vanished.

The three seniors immediately stepped backward.

The leading boy’s expression had become extremely ugly.

Several emotions flashed through his eyes as he memorized Caelum’s face.

As though carving it into his memory.

Without another word, the group turned around and left.

Caelum watched them disappear before sighing.

"He completely ruined my mood."

Then his expression brightened.

"Oh right."

He reached into his inventory disguising that as School Badge as two dessert cups appeared in his hands.

Immediately, both Anastasia and Loreal looked toward them.

The faint aroma of Dreamberry Desert drifted through the air.

And for some reason, the two girls suddenly felt that whatever Caelum wanted to talk about could probably wait a little longer.

"Ahem! I remembered you once mentioned that you liked cold desserts, so..." Before Caelum could finish his sentence, Loreal suddenly took both cups from his hands.

"...I need to check them for poison," she declared confidently, though her slightly red face made the excuse less convincing.

"..."

Both Caelum and Anastasia were left speechless.

Anastasia slowly turned toward Loreal with a look she had never shown before.

"Really? Is that your only reason?" Anastasia asked in a deep voice completely unfitting her age.

"Yes! I really need to check them for poison," Loreal replied without hesitation.

The moment she took a bite, however, her eyes immediately became dazed.

Seeing this, Caelum quickly snatched one of the cups back.

"Let’s go somewhere else," he suggested.

Anastasia looked at him suspiciously.

"What exactly did you put in that?" she asked but Caelum choose silence for now.

Soon, the three of them arrived at a quieter area away from the main festival grounds.

Anastasia continued giving Loreal strange looks.

Even in her dazed state, she was still steadily eating the dessert.

"This was personally made by Jordon Ramtalk, you should be grateful to me!" Caelum said with a slightly smug smile.

"Let me taste it first," Anastasia said, holding out her hand.

Caelum handed her the cup as she took a small bite.

Almost immediately, a dreamy look appeared on her face.

Seeing that reaction, Caelum nodded to himself.

As expected, he was a generous person for sharing such good thing.

However, a few moments later, his expression froze.

A tear rolled down Anastasia’s cheek.

The dreamy look in her eyes vanished.

"Wait, why are you crying now?" Caelum asked in alarm.

He suddenly felt troubled.

He hadn’t added anything strange to that cup at all!
