In front of the gate, numerous people were waiting as if they couldn’t do anything other than waiting.
Still, all the top disciples from every sect had reached this area. The Heavenly Sword Sect Lan Zhiqing, the Ancient Buddha Sect Zhan Hong, Divine Kingdom Crown Prince Wang Jian and Crown Princess Wang Xiaolan, Kunlun Mountain’s Li Changkong, and the Joyful Union Sect Saint Xiang Fei.
Even though some of them were not looking at each other as if they were not interested in them, they were examining each other’s action.
Of course, the Five Elements Mountain had come too. Even Shi Lan had arrived.
However, this balance changed when they saw three people landing before them.
"Well, well. Is this it?" Gin smirked. "It seems that there’s a barrier that stops everyone from going."
"Gin!" Shi Lan’s expression brightened for two reasons. She felt relieved to know that Gin and Albert were fine. The second reason was due to Gin’s ability as a high level Array Master. Although he hadn’t reached that step yet, his knowledge might be useful against the array that protected this gate.
However, what people observed was actually the Demon Dog next to him. After all, this guy was never heard before but when they looked into his cultivation, they were surprised to find out he was a Peak Phase Golden Core Stage, like all the leading disciples from other influences.
This showed that Albert was so great in hiding his talent that he could cultivate to this extent without anyone knowing. It was truly a scary thought.
Still, they felt weird when they saw Mu Yanxue standing behind him. Seeing Shi Lan’s reaction was clear enough to indicate that Albert and Gin came from the Five Elements Mountain. Yet, they brought a disciple from the Joyful Union Sect, which was supposed to be their nemesis in this place.
"Hmm?" As expected, the one who frowned first was none other than the Joyful Union Sect Saint Xiang Fei.
He never expected that Mu Yanxue, whose life was already in his hand, would actually come together with people from the Five Elements Mountain.
"Mu Yanxue." Xiang Fei stepped forward while glaring at Mu Yanxue, intimidating her.
Mu Yanxue kept her head up as if she wasn’t scared against Xiang Fei. With Albert here, there was nothing she couldn’t do.
"You dare to walk with the people from the Five Elements Mountain?" Xiang Fei glared at Mu Yanxue while approaching it.
All the people were interested in it because this fight represented the two sects.
They weren’t that much interested in the fight itself, they just wanted to see the power that Albert had, considering he just appeared out of nowhere. He would be extremely dangerous if they didn’t have any information about him.
"Who is he?" Wang Xiaolan from the Divine Kingdom asked her brother, the crown prince.
"I have no idea. There’s no report about him."
"But we should have the record about Golden Core Stage Disciple, no?"
"That’s true. He might be a new disciple from the Five Elements Mountain. Now that I think about it, there seems to be a disturbance in one of the sites of Five Elements Mountain’s disciple selection. It’s said that there are three talented people, but what I get is that one of them is only at Qi Gathering Stage, the other one is at Foundation Building Stage and the last one is at Mid Level Golden Core Stage.
"If you look at them, they are Late Phase Golden Core Stage and Mid Phase Golden Core Stage disciples. If they can cultivate that fast, we have to be careful." Wang Jian, the Crown Prince, warned her while observing Albert’s action. If he truly showed an unprecedented growth, he had to reconsider to raise Albert’s identity or even steal him from the Five Elements Mountain.
However, the one that shocked them the most was Zhan Hong.
Surprisingly, Zhan Hong was standing between Albert and Xiang Fei as if he was trying to stop them. Although Zhan Hong was a good person, he wouldn’t be stopping a fight that would involve his sect. That was why this action must come at a personal level.
"!!!" Li Changkong, the chief disciple of the Kunlun Mountain, raised his eyebrows, thinking,’ Zhan Hong is planning to help them?’
Next to him was Lan Zhiqing holding her sword as if she was observing and making a simulation of the fight in her head. She didn’t care much about them since all she wanted to do was learning the way of the sword.
"I hope that there won’t be any conflict in this place. We’re waiting for the barrier to disappear so that we can enter the inner area," said Zhan Hong while glancing at Xiang Fei.
"You dare to stop me, Stupid Monk? Are you planning to fight the Joyful Union Sect?"
"I am not planning to fight the Joyful Union Sect." Zhan Hong shook his head, giving the answer that everyone liked to hear. However, his next sentence felt like a bomb dropped in their heart. "But I’m planning to save the Joyful Union Sect."
"!!!" All of them were shocked. Saving the Joyful Union Sect? Zhan Hong seemed to believe that Xiang Fei would be defeated if he fought Albert. Though, they misunderstood Zhan Hong since the latter thought Xiang Fei would definitely die if he fought Albert. After all, the latter had told him that the hornier the opponent was, the higher the chance they would die to his power.
If Xiang Fei died, the situation would become extremely dangerous.
Obviously, Xiang Fei couldn’t accept those words. His killing intent soared as he glared at Zhan Hong. "Stupid monk. I give you the chance to take back those words now."
Zhan Hong wanted to stop him again, but Albert’s hand had patted his shoulder as if asking him to stop. He stepped forward and coolly said, "No need to waste your breath. I’m not planning to kill him this time... As long as he gives me the key to Mu Yanxue’s collar that is."
