Chapter 266: Entering the Ancient Ruin
"Hmm?" Albert furrowed his eyebrows and looked at his surroundings. From what he could see, he was inside a forest right after entering the Ancient Ruin. There were only trees around him.
At the same time, the Ancient Ruin was supposed to be in a plain within nothing but dirt and short grass. So, it was weird to see the forest.
He then raised his head and saw a huge red moon illuminating the entire forest.
"Not only the setting has changed, even the lighting has turned into a red moon. It looks ominous now," Albert commented while trying to connect with Gin through the Bonk Network. "Gin."
"Yes, Teacher. I’m here. Are you in a forest too?"
"Yep. I can see a red moon on top of us."
"It seems we’re in the Ancient Ruin. I don’t know much about Array, but I guess you can make something like this too. Anyway, I’m lacking of information to find a way for us to meet up. I have tried to fly upward to see our condition, but it doesn’t seem to be useful."
"How about using the moon?"
"I’ve tried it, but we can’t confirm whether the moon is actually at the center of the Ancient Ruin or not. So, we need to be careful so as to prevent us from getting lost in this Ancient Ruin. It’s getting dangerous, you know."
"Well, from the information that Elder Li Mu told us, it’s said that the Ancient Ruin will remain open for ten days. The people will be teleported back outside right before it closes."
Gin thought for a moment and said, "That’s too, but I guess I don’t want to take the risk. There should be clues from time to time, but for now, let’s go straight in the moon’s direction. That should be the first clue."

’Hmm... This is weird.’ Albert thought, wondering if there were monsters around here. According to Gin, an Ancient Ruin like this was like that of a labyrinth. They needed to solve a certain puzzle while being hunted by the monsters or humans.
Hence, finding other people here meant it would be troublesome soon.
After scanning and making sure that he couldn’t see anything, Albert immediately returned to the ground so that no other cultivators went to him.
"I should continue my journey on the ground. Flying is nice, but then again, I should have no problem in running through the forest." Albert took a deep breath and started running. Bonk Dragon.
A huge lightning dragon emerged from the bonk bat, heading straight toward the monsters.
The monsters also released their Spiritual Energy and formed a huge barrier as if they were working together.
However, the moment the Bonk Dragon hit the barrier and exploded, it released a huge cloud of smoke, blinding all the monsters.
It was at this time Albert used his Anti-Horny Blink to appear behind one of the monsters and swung his bat as strong as he could.

The bat turned into metal and even had spikes on it. When it hit the monster’s head, the spikes impaled the brain and the metal bat crushed their brain.
"Haaaa!" Albert shouted as if purposely telling them he was here.
However, he just wanted to gather all those monsters in one place. Without the visibility, they would just ram into each other, making it perfect for him to wipe them out in a single sweep.
After killing the monster, Albert leaped into the air and waited for them to come out.
But he was surprised that the monster suddenly turned into golden light and flowed like a water. The light flowed to Albert’s hand, turning it into a number.
