For the selection process, they erected a platform in the middle of the plaza. There were two platforms with different devices on top of them.
In the first platform, there was a giant crystal standing in the center of the arena. The translucent crystal was so clear that one could almost see through it.
On the contrary, there was a black stone on the second platform. The size was similar to that of a two-story house and it seemed to be heavy as the stone looked like it was planted to the ground by its own weight.

He turned around and politely pointed his hand at two people that stood on a different platform where they could oversee the entire selection process. "They’re Elder Li Mu and Wen Qing."
Albert and the others obviously recognized Li Mu because he had met them. However, his appearance was vastly different from the middle-aged man they saw back in the restaurant.
Li Mu still looked like a middle-aged man but he had long black hair tied on the back. His thin beard made him look even more gallant. With just one look, the people would think one thing. ’He’s a righteous and gallant warrior.’
Next to him was a beautiful woman. Her warm gaze could soothe one’s heart, but everyone focused on one thing. Despite being an elder of the Five Elements Mountain, she wore clothes that looked like an elder from the Joyful Union Sect. The clothes revealed her deep cleavage and the skirt was too short that it revealed her thick thighs.

The token he was talking about was the disciple selection token. It was different than the token that Albert got from Li Mu. This token recorded their age as well as their name to make it easier for the registration.
