Chapter 212: Demon Lord
Albert smiled nonchalantly, not afraid against this vampire king even though he had seen his status.
Name: Keir Hens Gluttony
Level: 362
Jail Time: 5 Hours
Even Lilith’s level was only 332, so it was clear that he was far stronger than Lilith. Still, unlike his fight against Lilith, he had prepared a few things for this battle.
Now that he had bonked many people and increased his level, it should be enough for him to release 8-Star Spells to stop him. Although it couldn’t be compared to his 9-Star Spells, Keir had been using his power this whole time, so he must have exhausted a quite amount of his power.
At the same time, Keir seemed to have been affected by the charm as well.
Despite being shocked by his power, it seemed Lvuska didn’t forget the promise she made to him.
Albert wanted to fight him together with Lvuska because he wanted to make this king horny so his power could be effective against his blood control.
Now that the situation had escalated to this level, Albert finally prepared to fight against the vampire king.
He glanced at the salamander and said, "You should change with her. That opponent suits you more. I and Lvuska will handle him."
"Are you kidding me? I’m here to fight the strong." The salamander glared at him, not buying his words. Even though Gin had become his friend, the salamander’s hatred toward Albert seemed to haven’t disappeared.
Still, Albert had prepared an answer for his stubbornness. "Is that so? I guess you’re not strong enough to handle that guy then... After all, it will take too long for you to beat him and fight the vampire king again."
"What did you say?! I’m not strong enough?" The salamander gritted his teeth and released his killing intent. Instead of directing it to Albert, the killing intent struck the commander. "You bastard. I will send you to your maker right away!"
The salamander seemed to be pissed when Albert compared him to the commander, thinking he was weak.
However, the commander was as strong as Lvuska if there were no tricks. So, he should be a perfect opponent for the salamander.
After seeing how the salamander reacted, Albert then raised his bonk bat and smiled, "It’s our first meeting, I believe..."
"Indeed. To think someone can shake the foundation of the royal family and cause all this mess. You’re truly a weird factor to consider... You rise too fast that no one can believe it... As if you’re not restricted by the rule of this world..." Keir smiled, examining Albert.
He had some suspicion as well. Despite believing he was a weak person without anyone’s support, Albert proved him wrong and wrong again. He could teach anomalies, wield ten elements, and even raise his strength with such a short amount of time.
Even when he tried to find his background, there was no so-called Gran Family. In other words, Albert wasn’t a noble since there was no way human nobles would name Albert with their family name because he was a demon.
Hence, the only conclusion he could gain from this was the fact that Albert came from another world.
Even Albert was surprised by his rationality. Despite looking like he wanted to kill him, the king was still calm enough to assess all that stuff.
Keir squinted his eyes and asked, "O’ demon from another world. What is the reason for your summoning?"
"Summoning? Your imagination is truly beyond my expectation... It seems the vampire king is a delusional." Albert smiled, not admitting he was from another world.
Yet, the vampire king didn’t take Albert’s words as an insult. He simply stated, "My delusion huh... Let’s take it that way!"
"Huh?" Albert was trying to provoke him, but the king actually acknowledged his words. He had never seen a weird king like this before.
Keir continued, "Let’s assume that I’m delusion. In my delusion, you are summoned to this world at the same time as those braves from the humans. Yet, we, demons, don’t have any proper summoning circles that allows you to arrive safely in our place.
"At the same time, there are five braves summoned which is perfect for each country to have one. Yet, the demon side... we only have you as our summoned brave even though there are seven demon kingdoms.
"If it’s a normal occurrence, there should be seven demons for each kingdom to receive a brave. However, there is only one person that is you... It is as if you have devoured all the others.
"No, there might not be others in this scenario. You are simply too great so their positions are taken by you, making you the sole brave summoned for the demons.
"The braves are known for their talents that can make them strong quickly. And your power... rise far too quickly. It is as if telling me that you have all those seven talents, making you the greatest demon that no one has ever seen.
"It is as if you are the legendary Demon Lord." The vampire king smiled, telling him all the deductions.
"Demon Lord?" Lvuska and the commander turned around, shocked by Keir’s statement.
"There was once a man called the Demon Lord. He was so strong that everyone followed him. He was the original seven deadly sins.
"Back then, the Demon Lord together with the Human Emperor fought against an unknown force and repelled them, liberating this world. The Human Emperor can do everything. He is good with sword, magic, creates an immense wealth with his knowledge, a person blessed by God, and an inventor. Each of his powers became the foundation of the five human kingdoms.
"On the contrary, the Demon Lord split his power into seven and gave it to his disciples before disappearing from this world. Each of his disciples went to all around the continents and made a place of hope for the demons, reconstructing the destroyed world so that everyone could live normally again.
"Still, the humans can only summon five braves, which symbolize their own power from the Human Emperor... Different from you, who comes here alone... as if you are the reincarnation of the Demon Lord." Keir closed his eyes for a moment with a smile on his face.
He looked so confident that his words felt so believable. Even Lvuska somehow thought the same after that explanation.
"Your Wrath... Where it is directed at? Is it against me? Is it against the humans? Is it against the world. No, that wrath is directed at your enemies who stand in your way. Whether they are a human or a demon, you will kill them mercilessly.
"Pride? You have the pride that is enough to make you selfish. You are selfishly making all the decisions because what you believe is the correct one.
"You have an enormous greed of freedom. No, should I say adventure? And that power of yours is simply the embodiment of Gluttony who can absorb the lust. That’s right, you have the full control of Lust. That’s why Lilith wants you.
"Unfortunately, even as delusional as me, I have no idea what is your Sloth and Envy as I don’t know you personally.
"But there is one thing for certain... Even without me personally confirming it, you are truly the Demon Lord who descend upon us from another world." Keir finished his sentence with the claim, arriving at the same conclusion as Lilith.
Although their train of thought was different, Keir’s train of thought wasn’t a mistake either.
In the past, Albert was envious of what people had. They had good family, better life, bright future... He wanted it, albeit he didn’t achieve any of them and instead died without anyone accompanying him.
No matter how hard he complained about this and that, Albert blamed himself for not having enough desire to change completely. Even a beat up boy could build a company through his perseverance.
Albert had no qualities or skills to make something needed by the people. That was why he ended up barely having enough money to live another day. But in his heart, Albert knew the reason for that. He was simply too lazy to change and find a solution. He was content living that kind of job.
As soon as he went home, he didn’t start thinking for another solution that might make him more money to change his life. Instead, he was lying around the house or meeting with prostitutes. If he was more diligent and spent the remaining hours of his day to come up with a solution, even if he needed to fail a thousand times, he might find a solution to his goal. He was simply too lazy.
As Keir said, Albert was the Demon Lord, the one who was blessed by all sins. Even a vampire king like him only had Gluttony, Greed, and Pride in his heart. He wasn’t envious of Albert’s power, he didn’t have lust for another woman.
Instead of anger, he was only disappointed of himself for not being able to do better. And he had been diligently working for a solution even if it meant coming to the battlefield.
That was why Albert’s existence was unique.
Even he needed to acknowledge Albert as the Demon Lord.
"He is the legendary Demon Lord?" Lvuska and the commander stared at Albert in shock as they somehow agreed with what Keir said.
Keir looked at Albert with a serene expression before bowing to Albert. "O’ Almighty Demon Lord. What is that you desire? Do you desire peace? Do you desire extinction? Do you desire my life?
"In the ancient time, the Demon Lord became the symbol of hope and liberation. If my head is what you wish so that my people can live in prosperity..." Keir suddenly dropped to his knees in the air and lowered his head. "I shall offer it to you myself."
