Chapter 137: 2.14 The Secret Realm
"What the hell is going on?! Why are they all gathered together like a group of bumbling idiots dancing like it’s a fucking tea party!" the masked god screamed angrily.
He summoned Lox, who immediately appeared.
"Lox. What the hell were you thinking gathering everyone together in one spot?!" the masked god demanded.
"Our ruptures were destroyed, I was trying to find out if anyone knew how and when it happened!" he pleaded.
A menacing laugh cackled throughout the realm.
"My oh my. The Lockheart’s come to Paradise for two months and all of a sudden everyone becomes useless! Tell me, Lox. Do you hate your children that much?" Hades teased.
"Why would you say that? You know I’d do anything to protect them, that’s why I’ve been working for you two!"
"Have ya really been working for us though? All 6 of the ruptures just magically disappear and you expect me to believe you had nothing to do with it?" Hades sneered as he snapped his fingers, and Loxed dropped to the ground, writhing in pain.
"Lox, have you been a triple agent and passing along information about us to Athena?" Hades snapped his fingers so Lox could answer.
"No my lord! Never!"
Hades snapped his fingers again, "You honestly don’t believe this asshat do you?"
"He’s been a loyal ally and did an amazing job recruiting. However, I find it hard to believe that his wife is in a party with the Lockheart’s and he wouldn’t do anything to help them," the masked god admitted.
Lox started coughing and spitting up blood. ’Why won’t I just die already? Shatter my soul and let me rest in pieces.’
Hades snapped his fingers and Lox’s pain momentarily stopped.
"Well, we might as well get some use out of you." Hades said as he opened a portal to the planet Eris, Helen and Azazel were taking over.
"Oh Eris! Come and take your delicious power from this dragon before his soul shatters!"
Eris sprinted through the portal, eyes widened with joy. "Oh fuck yes, thank you Lord Hades, I get to absorb the Dragon King?!"
"That’s up to you! You need to get him to admit he’s helping the Lockheart’s first, otherwise, no power for you."
Eris clicked her tongue. "Lox, you stupid fucking bastard. Just admit you couldn’t let Leila go and tried to win her back by playing nice with the Savior losers."
Eris began using her black blaze to burn his left arm.
"I’d never betray any of you. Go ahead. Kill me. I don’t care. You’ll lose a valuable asset and all your inside information into Paradise."
Eris lit his other arm on fire. Her black flame began eating his flesh. Lox screamed in pain while yelling, "I didn’t help their fucking party. Torture me all you want, but you’ll never get my power you dumb bitch."
Hades turned his head and laughed. "Well aren’t you a feisty wittle dragon? If she doesn’t get your power, who does?"
Lox continued to scream in pain. The fire started burning through his bones as he watched his flesh melt away from his arms. "Give it to our hidden ally, I don’t fucking care! I never betrayed any of you, you fucking jackasses!"
The masked god smiled. "I guess I’m the lucky winner. With your permission Hades?"
Hades shot him a nasty glare. "He’s not dead yet. Someone get a fucking answer out of him!"
The masked god used one of his curses and Lox, despite writhing in pain, noticed the god’s eyes through the mask turning into pentagrams.
"Who the fuck are you and what’s with those creepy ass eyes?" Lox screamed while his brain suddenly felt like it was on fire. "You are all worthless pieces of shit who would have NO ONE without me."
Lox started to float in and out of consciousness. Between the burning of his body, the torture in his brain, he was at his breaking point.
The masked god’s eyes began illuminating and the pentagram started spinning rapidly.
"Eris stop your flames and get back to your mission. We don’t need you here anymore."
Eris stopped her magic, nodded, walked through the portal, closed it and stared blankly at the battlefield in front of her. "Where was I? What just happened?"
"Eris, where the hell did you go? We need you over here!" Helen yelled.
"Sorry, I’m coming! I don’t know where I was. What the fuck is going on?" Eris screamed as she ran back to the battlefield.
She spat her black blame on a giant Minotaur. As it began writing in pain, it started swinging his axe aimlessly. "The bigger they are... the harder they...fall!" Eris laughed as the Minotaur collapsed. She moaned in pleasure as she absorbed the power.
"Yes, fucking yes give me your power you worthless piece of shit!"
"Eris, you really don’t know where you went? We saw a portal open to the realm with our hidden ally and Hades was there with Lox."
Eris tried to remember, but couldn’t remember anything other than battling on this planet.
"We don’t have time to worry about this now! Let’s hurry up and finish off this planet!"

"I don’t think we’re going to get anything out of him Master Hades," the masked god stated as he removed the curse from Lox’s brain. "Unless I do this."
He healed Lox and put him in a temporarily stable state. "Lox... you fool. Look at me."
Lox closed his eyes and refused to open them.
"Oh for fucks sake. Give it up already. You could have died 20 minutes ago had you just admitted what we’re going to find out anyway." Hades kicked Lox as he snapped his fingers and wired his eyelids open.
The masked god’s pentagram pupils repeated the same motion it did with Eris, and he looked Lox in the eyes.
"Tell me, did you work for us or did you work for Athena?"
"Us. Always us. Sometimes Athena, but always us." Lox said robotically.
Hades turned his head sideways. "What the fuck? What does he mean? Get more out of him than that!"
"Lox, I command you to tell me what is going on in Paradise."
"Shattered souls. All our allies are shattered souls. Xander Lockheart knows all."
Hades couldn’t take it anymore, and started incinerating Lox’s body while slicing his limbs and forcing Lox to answer one final question.
"What do you mean Xander Lockheart knows all?"
It was too late. Lox’s soul shattered and the masked god inhaled the dark purple particles as they floated slowly into the air.
"How the fuck does a two year old know everything and does everything even mean?" Hades screamed.
"That is some intense power I absorbed. It’s helping with the eye implants. How long will it take before they are fully functional?"
Hades laughed. "That depends. You’re doing quite well with them. Look at your little monitor, poor Eris is confused."
"When isn’t that bitch confused?" the masked god laughed.
"Well, she’s our next guinea pig so you two better start getting along!" Hades laughed. "Maybe she’ll share some of the power she’s gaining with you since half of her Ancient Titans are gone."
"I’m glad you ordered them to use the sins, princes, and never leave out Ankha from leading the titans. Why the fuck would they leave the General at home?"
"Because Eris is secretly in love with him and doesn’t want him to die. I swear, what’s with the increase in gods and goddesses falling in love with mortals?" Hades scoffed. "What happened to creating a better future for our kind?"
