"Yes family head" The same voice sounded out again as soon as the dignified looking man gave out a command.

’This is bad’ Hutton thought with a grim look on his face as he heightened his senses to the limit hoping he would be able to sense where the voice is coming from.

Bang!!

Just as the air was thick with anticipation as he scanned the shadows, his hand instinctively shaping into a fist.Suddenly, a silhouette materialized from the darkness, moving with silent grace towards him.

Hutton’s heart pounded in his chest as he tensed, ready to defend himself. But before he could react, the figure lunged forward with blinding speed, launching a surprise attack.Hutton barely had time to raise his hand to defend himself as the assailant struck, the clash of bones ringing through the chamber.

Sparks flew as they engaged in a fierce duel, each movement calculated and precise.Despite his skill, Hutton found himself struggling to keep up with the shadowy assailant’s relentless onslaught.

He fought with all his might, determination burning bright in his eyes as he sought to overcome this unexpected adversary. But just as quickly as it had begun, the assailant vanished back into the darkness, leaving Hutton standing alone in the throne room, panting heavily as he surveyed the aftermath of their brief but intense encounter.

"Give up, you have no chance against me" Just as Hutton was trying to keep his calm while he tries to find that silhouette, the same feminine yet cold voice sounded out in his ears.

"Well am sorry to disappoint you but giving up actually isn’t my style" Hutton replied with a light smirk now on his face.

"If so then get ready to face the consequences" The silhouette said in the darkness with a much colder voice as it suddenly moved towards Hutton with lightning speed.

Xiu!!

"Not if I can help it"

Bang!!

But just as the silhouette moved in for the sneak attack on Hutton, a sudden gust of wind swept through the throne room, carrying with it the presence of a seasoned cultivator.

With the agility of a predator, a tanned and aged man materialized right in front of the assailant, intercepting the attack with effortless grace. His presence alone seemed to command the space, radiating a quiet confidence that belied his age.

With a flick of his wrist, he countered the assailant’s strike, sending them staggering back in surprise. The young cultivator, Hutton, watched both in awe and surprise as the seasoned cultivator engaged the silhouette with a masterful display of martial prowess.

’Mr. Boma? What is he doing here?’ Hutton thought with a surprised look on his face while he observed the fighting scene right in front of him. As for the dignified looking man who just stood right next to his throne, his expression suddenly became grim as soon as the tanned aged man appeared.

Mr. Boma according to Hutton is the person who he once visited with Vivian and played chess with back in Star City.

Each movement of the Boma was fluid and precise, as if he were dancing with the shadows themselves. With a swift series of strikes, Boma effortlessly repelled the silhouette, forcing the silhouette to retreat into the darkness from whence they came. His eyes never left the assailant, his stance unwavering as he remained poised for any further threat.

"Come back Harley" Just then, the dignified looking man spoke up with a solemn and deep voice as he sat back down his throne.

"Yes family head" The silhouette said in the darkness before it finally vanished from that area completely. After the silhouette vanished, Boma slowly yet steadily turned and faced the dignified looking man before he spoke up in a serene voice.

"Long time no see Mr. Franklin"

"It has really been a long time Mr. Boma. But on what occasion did I recieve such an unexpected visit?" The dignified looking man who apparently is named Franklin said with a solemn yet cold look on his face.

"Oh it’s nothing serious Mr. Franklin, I just wanted to pick up my apprentice here, that’s all" Boma replied with a calm smile on his face. But when Franklin heard him, he was momentarily stunned before he shifted his gaze towards Hutton as he asked in a surprising tone.

"He is your apprentice?"

"That’s right Mr. Franklin" Boma quickly answered with the same calm smile on his face. After getting Boma’s confirmation that he wasn’t spouting nonsense, Franklin suddenly fell silent for a while before he said in a calm tone.

"Well am sorry for keeping your apprentice here"

"Oh there is no problem Mr. Franklin. I should be going now so till next time" Boma said as he suddenly turned to face Hutton before he said a slightly lower voice.

"Let’s go"

"Wait, there is something I would like to ask him before we leave" Hutton said with an unwilling look on his face as he took a step forward to face Franklin. Naturally hearing what Boma and Hutton is saying, Franklin quickly asked with a cold look now on his face.

"Am what is it you want to ask me?"

"I would like to know if Veronica is here? And if she is here, I would like to meet her" Hutton asked with a straight look on his face.

"It seems like your apprentice wants a death wish, Mr. Boma" Franklin suddenly said as a murderous aura began to exude out of his body. But Boma didn’t seem to care as he replied with the same calm smile still on his face.

"Oh it wouldn’t hurt if he just sees her. Besides, you should even be grateful that he is requesting to see her"

"And why is that?" Franklin asked with a confused look on his face.

"Well it’s simple, what you are seeing right hereand what you are about to witness is the rise of my apprentice Hutton Maxwell" Boma answered with an assured smile now on his face. But when Franklin heard him, he was first stunned before he burst out in laughter.

"Let’s go" But right before Franklin could get himself together, Boma suddenly said in a whispering tone as he placed his left hand on Hutton’s shoulder.

"Bu–" Hutton tried to say something but it was already too late as the instance Boma placed hi hand on Hutton’s shoulder, both of them suddenly disappeared from the throneroom.

"Sh*t! They escaped" Franklin exclaimed with an angry look as he hurriedly stood up from his throne. But not long after, Franklin calmed down as he thought while he brought out a small black colored crystal out of his pockets.

’It seems like he has already figure something out’

.....

"Where are we?" Hutton asked with a curious look on his face as he observes the place him and Boma appeared in. Where they both appeared in is a dimly lit dojo

In this dimly lit dojo, shadows danced across the wooden floors like silent spectators to the martial arts practiced within. The walls, adorned with traditional scrolls and faded tapestries, held the wisdom of generations past, their ancient characters barely visible in the subdued light.

The scent of polished wood and incense lingered in the air, mingling with the faint echoes of footsteps and the soft rustle of training attire. Lanterns suspended from the ceiling cast a warm, golden glow, their light flickering gently as if in meditation.

Rows of wooden training dummies stood sentinel along the perimeter, their surfaces worn smooth from countless strikes. Mats cushioned the floor, offering a sanctuary for practitioners to hone their skills with discipline and dedication.

Despite the dimness, there was an undeniable energy that permeated the space, a palpable sense of focus and determination that filled the air. Within the quietude of the dojo, one could almost hear the whispers of ancient warriors, guiding those who sought enlightenment through the path of martial arts.

"Where we are in right now is my dojo in DC" Boma answered with a calm smile on his face.

"Wait, we are in the capital?" Hutton asked with a dumbfounded look on his face. When Boma heard him, he immediately became stunned as he asked in a strange tone.

"You didn’t know?"

But Hutton didn’t give him a reply as he quickly ran towards the entrance of the dojo and quickly went outside. As soon as he did, he instantly felt an atmosphere of power, history, and prestige.

As you stroll through its streets, you’re greeted by the iconic sights of monumental architecture and lush greenery, blending seamlessly with the bustling urban landscape. The cityscape is dominated by majestic landmarks such as the Capitol Building, the White House, and the Washington Monument, each symbolizing the nation’s rich history and democratic ideals.

The grandeur of these structures is matched only by the sense of reverence they inspire in those who behold them.Parks and gardens provide oases of tranquility amidst the urban hustle, offering a retreat for contemplation and relaxation. The Tidal Basin, adorned with cherry blossoms in the spring, is a breathtaking sight to behold, while the National Mall serves as a sprawling green expanse for gatherings and events.

The streets buzz with the energy of diplomats, politicians, tourists, and locals alike, weaving a tapestry of diversity and culture. Historic neighborhoods like Georgetown and Capitol Hill offer charming cobblestone streets lined with boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, inviting exploration and discovery.

’Am really in Washington DC’ Hutton thought with an incredulous look on his face.
