Chapter 1228: Chapter 1228: Breaking Through the Wall to Save Lives

"Xue’er, what’s the solution? Quickly tell us!" Mu Qiancheng’s eyes lit up when he heard Jiang Xue had a solution, and he looked at her eagerly.

Gong Bei also stared at Jiang Xue curiously and excitedly, wanting to see what method she would use to save people.

"Let’s step back a bit." Jiang Xue glanced at them and spoke.

She planned to use Spiritual Power to punch a hole in the wall, since there were two children inside, the hole needn’t be too big, just enough for them to pass through.

"Xue’er, what do you plan to do?" Mu Qiancheng didn’t step back but looked at Jiang Xue with confusion. The wall was so thick, how was Jiang Xue going to save them?

Was she really planning to smash open the wall? But they didn’t have any tools, how were they going to smash it open?

"Just punch a hole in the wall." Jiang Xue said as she lifted her hand, ready to smash the wall. Mu Qiancheng, seeing her move, was shocked and quickly grabbed Jiang Xue’s hand tightly, saying, "Xue’er, what are you doing? Are you going to waste your hands?"

"Who said I was?" Jiang Xue gave Mu Qiancheng a glance and said, "Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing, nothing will happen."

"No, I don’t agree with this. What if something goes wrong? Do you think this wall is made of paper? It’s constructed of bricks, sand, and cement. No matter how hard your hands are, they can’t be tougher than those materials."

"Qian Cheng, isn’t this the only way right now?"

"I don’t care. I absolutely won’t allow you to do this." Mu Qiancheng was unwavering, he didn’t want Jiang Xue to get hurt.

"Then what do you suggest?" Jiang Xue looked at Mu Qiancheng speechlessly, then said, "You know we didn’t bring any hammers or anything when we came."

"I know, but I’ll figure something out. Wait for me, I’m going to find tools." After speaking to Jiang Xue, Mu Qiancheng turned and went to find tools.

Jiang Xue watched his departing figure, looked at her own hands, and sighed. She originally intended to infuse Spiritual Power into her hands and then punch the wall open. But now, Mu Qiancheng wouldn’t allow it, so she had to give up because she didn’t want Mu Qiancheng to worry.

But the children inside would have to wait a while longer. Jiang Xue thought as she spoke to the children on the other side of the wall, "Hold on, we’ll get you out very soon. Just hang in there, okay?"

"Alright, we’ll hang on, but you must hurry!"

"Don’t worry, we’ll get you out as soon as possible." Jiang Xue reassured the children inside and then began looking for tools all around.

Jiang Xue searched round and round but found no tools. It was Mu Qiancheng, who had gone to find tools, who returned with a hoe.

"Where did you find that?" Jiang Xue asked, somewhat surprised to see the hoe. It was unusual for the people in the small town to have a hoe.

"There’s a small garden up ahead with some vegetables, and I found the hoe there," Mu Qiancheng explained as he raised the hoe and started digging at the wall. Digging continuously, one dig after another.

The children behind the wall heard the commotion and knew someone was rescuing them, so they carefully retreated, keeping as far away as possible to avoid getting hurt if the wall suddenly crashed.

Mu Qiancheng and Gong Bei took turns digging at the wall. Although the progress was slow, as time passed, a small opening appeared in the wall.

As soon as the opening appeared, the children inside couldn’t help but feel a surge of joy.
