Chapter 622: Chapter 620: Missing Person

After carefully observing for a while, Chuchu entered the living room. Instead of rushing to look at the people lying on the floor, she checked the surroundings thoroughly, and in a downstairs room, she found the bodies of the scar-faced man, Green Eyes, and man H. Green Eyes had also been killed, likely sacrificed as cannon fodder.

With no one else in the house, she returned to the living room to examine the four people lying on the ground one by one.

Andrew and an older person were still alive, while Andrew’s bodyguard and another person were dead.

Andrew had been shot in the abdomen, and his clothes were soaked with blood. Without immediate intervention, he might die from excessive blood loss.

The room was very quiet. Chuchu hesitated, pondering whether she should save Andrew or just leave him to his fate and walk away?

"Uh..."

Lying on the floor, Andrew seemingly sensed Chuchu’s presence in the room. He groaned again, the sound echoing in the silent living room. Slowly, he opened his eyes and saw someone standing in the room.

He closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them again, finally seeing that the person standing there was indeed Chuchu.

"Chu... where is Wanwan?" Andrew’s first question was about Ming Wan’s whereabouts rather than pleading for Chuchu to save him.

This question immediately tipped the balance of Chuchu’s hesitation. Fine, just for that question, she decided to save him once.

Chuchu squatted down and tore open Andrew’s shirt, saying in a disgruntled tone, "Don’t worry, Ming Wan has already left here and is safe now."

"That’s good..." Andrew’s voice was very weak, allowing Chuchu to tear his clothes with a knife without any resistance. Even if he wanted to stop her, he had no strength. Besides, as far as he was concerned, Chuchu was saving his life.

"So... why are you here?" Andrew asked, gasping for air, trying to divert his attention and ignore the pain in his body.

While checking his wound, Chuchu asked, "And why are you here?"

"Ah!" Andrew screamed in pain when Chuchu cut open the bullet wound with her knife and directly reached in to extract the bullet.

This woman was doing such a bloody thing but showed no sign of fear, so calm it seemed almost cold-blooded.

Andrew sweated profusely from the pain, breathing heavily to lessen the pain, and didn’t forget to remind Chuchu: "Dis...infect..."

Chuchu casually threw the bullet aside, stood up, and headed to the kitchen to find a bottle of strong liquor. She returned to Andrew and directly poured it onto his wound.

The sudden intense sting made Andrew howl in pain again. His whole body trembled, but he dared not move recklessly.

Chuchu snorted, tearing his shirt into strips with a knife, soaking them in the liquor, and roughly binding them over his wound, finally stopping the bleeding.

Without another glance, she turned and went into the kitchen to carefully wash the blood from her hands.

When she came out again, Andrew’s condition had improved compared to before. He was no longer trembling and howling, though his face was still terribly pale, and sweat drenched his hair.

"How did you know about this place?" Chuchu asked.

Andrew forced his eyes open and weakly said, "I received a message saying you were here, so I came."

"Who gave you the message?"

"Someone sent a photo to my subordinate’s phone... I don’t know who it was..."

"Where’s the photo?" Chuchu asked directly.

After a couple of gasps, Andrew said, "At Roz Manor... If you want to see it... I can have someone bring it to you..."

Chuchu looked at him coldly and, after a moment, snorted. She reached out to rummage over his body, taking out a phone and also extracting a small blue flower.

Upon seeing the blue flower, Andrew said, "That’s Wanwan’s..."

"Wrong! This is mine, and I deliberately had Wanwan put it on you. This thing is a surveillance device." Chuchu calmly put the little blue flower into her pocket.

Andrew: "..." This woman was something else!

"Password." Chuchu demanded.

Andrew really didn’t want to tell her but knew this formidable woman wouldn’t take no for an answer, so he had no choice but to give four numbers.

She unlocked the phone, quickly flipping through it until she found the photo.

The photo showed her and Ming Wan following behind Green Eyes, about to enter the house, with man H trailing them. Judging by the angle and distance, this photo was likely taken from the woods.

At that time, there was a sixth person in the woods!!!

Chuchu suddenly felt a chill down her spine, realizing they had been under surveillance the whole time!

Who could be watching them? Could that person have seen her kill the scar-faced man?

Ming Wan!

Chuchu suddenly remembered Ming Wan, whom she had left in the car. Was the place Ming Wan hid already known to someone? If they wanted to do something... Ming Wan...

She’d left Ming Wan in that forest more than an hour ago; she had to get back there immediately!

"Ransom money!" Chuchu impatiently extended her hand to Andrew.

"Huh?" Andrew didn’t react, and then his leg got a fierce kick from Chuchu, "Quick, ransom money, I’m no Florence Nightingale!"

Eventually, under Chuchu’s violent coercion, Andrew had no choice but to hand over a black bank card from his pocket, claiming it held twenty million.

Thus, Chuchu left Andrew with the image of a female bandit.

Taking the card, Chuchu immediately left. After grabbing her laptop outside, she got into a car and headed straight for Ming Wan’s hiding place, speeding through the forest like lightning.

In just a few minutes, she arrived at the location, jumping out of the car as soon as it stopped, darting into the bushes, quickly finding the car she’d hidden earlier. Seeing the car door closed, she breathed a sigh of relief.

But when she reached the car and opened the door, her heart skipped a beat: Ming Wan was gone!

Without thinking, she climbed onto the car roof and surveyed the surroundings. The area was eerily quiet, with no sounds, indicating Ming Wan had been gone for some time.

Ming Wan was missing!

Ming Wan had been misplaced by her!

She had failed her mission this time!

Who had taken Ming Wan? Or had Ming Wan left on her own?

How was she going to explain this to the Crown Prince!

Chuchu’s mind was in disarray, overwhelmed with a thousand tangled thoughts.

Stay calm!

She took a deep breath, trying to calm her chaotic mind and think about the next step.

The ring, yes, she had given Ming Wan a ring that could be tracked. Finding Ming Wan came first. Chuchu immediately took out her phone to call Li Shan.

"Brother Lishan." The call was quickly connected. She called out, and after doing so, she felt a sense of reassurance.
