Thomas Fisher and Evelyn Taylor are on a blind date, and Ryan Taylor couldn’t believe this was happening, even hearing Thomas say he was on a date with Evelyn; he couldn’t truly believe it.
Over the phone, Thomas heard Ryan’s disbelief, handed the phone back to Evelyn, "Your brother doesn’t believe we’re on a date, help me prove it to him."
With that, he had already stuffed the phone into her hand.
"No one would believe it."
Even Evelyn found it hard to believe; up till now, she still felt it was incredible, but despite the disbelief, she put the phone to her ear, "Brother! You don’t believe it, I don’t believe it either, but Thomas and I are indeed on a date right now. Wait a moment, I’ll get you some evidence shortly."
After saying that, she hung up the phone.
Evelyn hung up Ryan’s call, then got up with her phone and sat beside Thomas. She opened her phone’s camera function, "Thomas! Please bear with me for a bit, let’s give my brother some evidence."
While speaking, she leaned closer to him, and after leaning in, she raised her phone.
"As long as you don’t mind my ugliness, you can take pictures." Thomas didn’t think much of it and struck a funny pose for Evelyn’s phone.
Evelyn was not the least bit polite, taking several photos in succession. After she finished, she picked two of the most interesting ones and sent them to Ryan via WeChat.
"Brother! See, we’re eating at the Westview Road’s western restaurant right now, you should believe it now, right? If you still don’t believe, you can come over and see for yourself."
"You and Thomas at Westview Road’s western restaurant?!"
Ryan replied quickly, but you could tell from his words that he was very surprised and amazed.
Evelyn furrowed her brow in confusion and quickly edited another private message to send over.
"You aren’t also at Westview Road’s western restaurant, are you?"
After sending the private message, she tilted her head to look around, but she didn’t see her brother’s face anywhere around.
Just as Evelyn was turning her head to search for Ryan, her phone suddenly rang, instinctively drawing her gaze back to her phone.
As she anticipated, the call was indeed from her brother, without a moment’s hesitation, she answered the call, "Brother! Are you really at Westview..."
"Where are you two sitting now, why can’t I see you two?"
As Evelyn guessed, Ryan was indeed dining at the same western restaurant, upon seeing her private message, he immediately started searching for her and Thomas. Unfortunately, they were seated in different areas and couldn’t see each other.
Upon hearing this, Evelyn blurted out, "Thomas and I are at table number five by the window; where are you?"
She shared her exact location, waiting for a response from her brother on the phone, now she was certain her brother was in the same restaurant; what a coincidence indeed.
"You two wait there, we’ll come over to find you soon." Ryan didn’t directly answer Evelyn’s question but said he would come over to find them. After saying this, he decisively hung up the phone, leaving Evelyn no chance to speak further.
