Chapter 1300: Chapter 1299: Have You Carried Other... Women on Your Back?

Easton Holmes’ words instantly calmed Lily Turner down. As she regained her composure, she thought carefully and realized she had indeed overthought things, complicating what was simple.

Between children, it’s just pure play without the complex thoughts adults have. She had indeed overthought just now.

"Andy! Do you want to go back with Uncle?" Seeing Lily Turner gradually calming down, Easton Holmes didn’t say more. His gaze shifted to Andy, who was in Ryan Taylor’s arms.

Andy nodded repeatedly, "Yes! I want to play with Uncle."

Having not played with Uncle for several days, since he managed to ’catch’ his Uncle today, he certainly wouldn’t miss this opportunity.

"Alright then." His son’s thoughts were clearly displayed on his face, so Easton Holmes agreed without hesitation.

"We’ll head off now. You two can enjoy." Ryan Taylor glanced at Lily Turner, who hadn’t spoken for a while, and, carrying Andy, turned around and got into the car. After getting in, he honked once and drove out of the small park.

Seeing the car drive away, Easton Holmes stood with his back to Lily Turner, leaned slightly, "Honey! We should head home now."

He turned his head to look at her standing behind him, the meaning very clear—hurry up and get on, I want to carry you home.

"Isn’t this a bit improper?"

Lily Turner tilted her head to look around. This was when the small park was quite populated. Being carried like this would be alright for young people, but the older folks would probably point fingers, affecting his image.

Thinking it might affect his image, she quickly circled to walk in front of him, reaching out to hold his hand, "Darling! Walking home holding hands would be nice."

Saying this, she pulled him to leave the small park and head home.

Yet Easton Holmes didn’t give way, using force in his wrist to pull her back to him. His wife obediently fell into his arms, "But I want to carry you home."

He spoke with a very gentle tone, mixed with a pleading air.

"So many people..."

"Come on quickly."

Before Lily could finish, Easton Holmes suddenly turned back around, once more offering his back to her.

Seeing her husband’s firm attitude, it would seem pretentious to refuse further. Glancing around, she casually lay down on his back.

"Let’s go!"

Feeling his wife on his back, Easton Holmes hooked his hands around her long legs and steadily stood up. He tilted his head to glance at his wife on his back, before stepping toward home.

Lily Turner wrapped her arms around her husband’s neck. She was not worried about being dropped at all and felt comfortable holding onto her husband like this.

"Honey! Have you ever carried other... women?" Her heart was stirring with curiosity, and after asking, she didn’t dare look at him. Her ears perked up, listening intently.

"... I have." Easton Holmes thought for a moment and replied seriously.

When Lily asked, she had anticipated such an answer. Yet hearing Easton Holmes admit it made her feel uncomfortable.

That sour feeling instantly invaded her, swiftly spreading to her entire body, even her head was not spared, feeling sour, "Put me down, I want to walk by myself."
