Chapter 1295: Chapter 1294: It’s Such a Waste That You’re Not an Actor

Harriet White seemed to have grasped Evelyn Taylor’s weakness. Although Evelyn had a lot of reluctance in her heart, she didn’t show it on the surface. She didn’t say much more and obediently agreed to the blind date tomorrow.

Aiden Taylor and Harriet White had a plan, which was to solve the lifelong matters of Ryan and Evelyn Taylor in one go. The siblings were not getting any younger, and as parents, they were quite anxious.

Regarding his parents’ anxiety, Ryan Taylor had been very aware of it from the start. He just hadn’t said much about it. Now that he was falling in love, he found love to be quite the sweet affair.

Buzz buzz buzz!

Hearing the phone suddenly ringing in his pocket, Ryan Taylor put down his chopsticks and took out the vibrating phone. He glanced at it and answered the call.

"Easton! What’s up?"

It was Easton Holmes calling. Ryan assumed Easton had something important to discuss, speaking in a serious tone and manner.

Easton’s response was even more serious, so serious it was almost stern, "Where are you right now? I have something urgent I need to discuss with you face-to-face."

Not only was he serious, but he also sounded particularly urgent.

"I’m out. What’s so urgent that can’t be said over the phone?" Ryan glanced at the woman sitting across from him, feeling a bit troubled.

Easton didn’t think for even a second and immediately dismissed Ryan’s suggestion to discuss it over the phone, "This isn’t something that can be explained on the phone. We should meet and talk."

He didn’t ask his buddy what he was doing outside, only mentioning that he had something urgent to discuss.

"Is it very urgent?" Ryan could feel Easton’s urgency across the phone, but he was reluctant to part with the woman sitting opposite him so soon. He secretly hoped his buddy would say it wasn’t urgent.

But Easton didn’t grant Ryan his wish, responding with urgency, "Yes, it’s very urgent! Tell me exactly where you are, I’ll come to find you right away."

His tone became even more urgent, and his determination to come find his buddy grew stronger.

"Tell me your location and I’ll come find you." Hearing Easton’s increasing urgency on the phone, Ryan figured something critical and difficult must have happened. Otherwise, his buddy wouldn’t be so anxious to discuss it. He decided to cut his date with his girlfriend, Lilith Spencer, short.

"I’m at the small park in the complex."

After Easton gave his location to Ryan, he didn’t wait for a response before hanging up the phone.

As soon as Easton hung up, Lily Turner leaned in closer to him, "Honey! It’s a real pity you aren’t an actor."

She had been standing nearby and saw Easton’s performance clearly. If she hadn’t known the real situation, she would have been deceived by his anxious demeanor.

"Wifey! I’m really happy you think so highly of me." Easton pulled Lily closer and quickly gave her a peck after glancing around with his peripheral vision.

After the kiss, before she could react, he straightened up and put some distance between them.

Lily glared at the man who stole a kiss, but she didn’t comment on it. She was more concerned about him tricking Ryan just now, "When my brother finds out you tricked him later, he definitely won’t let you off easily. I wonder if you’ll still be able to be happy then?"
