Chapter 69: Alchemist / 8.3 : Playing them
When the doors of the elevator closed Eden looked down fuming. When he reached his floor he walked fast. He opened his hotel room and entered. He directly went to the mini-fridge to take a bottle of alcohol. After taking a seat he poured himself a drink. He drank it in one go then poured another glass. He drank it again in one go and could finally feel his nerves calm down.
Now that he knows who Gege is he feels angrier about his past even if it’s his past lives. Why does Cael have to be such a whore in most universes? When he leaned his head on Zhenxuan’s shoulder he heard a notification sound and peeked at his cellphone unbeknownst to him.
He saw a text from one of their partner mentioning their meeting tonight. He doesn’t check information on Gege in each universe but after the text, he wanted to find out their dating history, and let’s just say it’s a long one. Those two never get into serious relationships and move on quite easily. He’s pissed and he’s going to make them pay it’s that simple.
"Father what did you do to my credit card?"
Huang coughed and said after looking around the room:
"Darling we are in the middle of a board of directors meeting, we’ll talk when I’m done."
Yinglun yelled:
"I don’t care do you even realize how humiliated I was when I tried to pay and it was refused? They even destroyed my credit card in front of my friends!"
Knowing that his daughter wouldn’t leave Huang said looking around:
"The meeting is adjourned."
The man looked down at Huang and then left. Huang noticed but he couldn’t care less. Making his daughter happy will make him rich and powerful and that’s all he cares about. Yan is blindly in love with Yinglun and he would do anything for her, he’s the key to merging Z Elixir and Wang Elements into one powerful entity. He knows that he’ll do everything he asks of him because of his daughter so Yinglun has to be happy with him or she won’t help. Either way, he loves her and he would accept anything she’d ask of him anyway.
Huang handed him his credit card and said:
"Here use mine, I’ll call the bank to see what happened."
Yinglun took the card with a smile, she kissed her father’s cheek and said:
"Thank you father you’re the best."
Huang smiled at his lovely daughter.
"Go I’ll see you at dinner."
"Bye, I love you."
"I love you too darling."
Huang grabbed his cellphone and called the bank to find out why his daughter’s credit card was blocked. He knows she didn’t use all her allowance for this month he always gives her 100 000 in case she wants to buy something expensive and usually, she always has 5000 left at the end of the month.
When Huang finished talking to the bank he was furious. He made a phone call but it kept ringing and the other side never picked up. He put his phone down violently and cursed:
"Who does that son of a bitch think he is?"
He can’t believe Eden dared to block all the credit cards he had made before he left for B Country.
His father left Eden everything including the millions he had saved up over the years. There are around 800 000 000, and Eden will never be able to finish the money in this lifetime. If it isn’t enough he receives more money every month because he owns 80% of the company’s shares which is in the millions seeing how successful Z Elixir is. Why would he use his own money to live well when he has the money his father left? He can’t go back to the way they were living before, living in a small house and having 2000 a month to live on. His father had always been frugal that’s why he was able to save up so much but he isn’t.
When he moved into his father’s three floors mansion and redecorated it using the most expensive and sought-after interior designer he finally lived the way he should’ve when he was a kid instead of his father wanting to teach him and his brother about earning money for themselves. Ning was his father, not Eden’s so everything should’ve gone to him!
That bastard dared to block the family’s access to the bank account using a loophole in the will. He’s sure his lawyer is the one who told him about it, Eden didn’t care that he was using the money. He just needs to talk to him so he can give him access again but for that, he needs to pick up. He better call his daughter to let her know and give her cash before she loses it.
Eden looked at the vials in his hands with a smile. He had to work twice as hard since he had to make Zhenxuan an elixir too. He opened one vial and drank it. His eyes flashed purple and he smiled maliciously. He took off his lab coat and left. He got into a cab for Wang Elements. He feels excited at the idea of seeing the twins, since they kissed he hasn’t seen them.
That night he got Zhenxuan’s cellphone number and told them not to bother picking him up anymore and that he’ll contact them when he is done. They didn’t but he isn’t stupid. Gege is the kind of person who would give him space to come willingly but he would only be patient for so long.
When he arrived he walked to the reception area and the woman told him to wait while she made a phone call. A man came up and led him to their office. He opened the door and Eden got in. Zhenxuan was sitting behind the desk and Zishu was leaning in front of it, they both smiled. Eden smiled at them. He pulled out the vial from a box and the twins approached. He handed it to Zhenxuan and he took it, Zishu looked at it as he swallowed with difficulty.
People have no idea how hard it’s been on him and Zishu because they never knew. They stop counting after twenty how many Alchemists said they could help them but ended up failing. But the thing is that they believed in Eden and not just because they like him, so when he said he would do it they had no doubt. Even when he asked not to be bothered until he is done they knew that he wouldn’t flake on them.
Eden said:
"As the name says it’ll give you a new life. Once you ingest it the poison AttrapeMort will be gone."
When you drink the elixir of life it’s like you’ve been given a new chance to start over with a clean slate. No matter what illness, issues whether mental or physical you have will disappear. The problem is that even seasoned Alchemists have a hard time making them so they are rare, you can’t just find them in any potion shops. Z Elixir doesn’t even sell them and they have the best Alchemists in the world.
Zhenxuan opened it and Eden and Zishu looked at him as he drank it. Zishu was surprised when his eyes turned gold. Eden took a step forward taking his pulse. He looked up with a smile.
"It’s gone."
Zishu immediately pulled Zhenxuan into his arms. Eden looked at them with a smile. When he found out they are Gege he looked at everything they went through to find a cure and it broke his heart. Zishu pulled back quickly wiping his tears.
He hugged Eden.
"Thank you for saving us."
Eden hugged him back, and when he pulled back Zhenxuan hugged him too.
"Thank you we’re eternally grateful."
Eden pulled back with a smile.
"It’s nothing."
Zishu pulled him in his arms again holding onto his neck. He said with a smile:
"It’s not nothing."
Eden felt someone holding him from behind his arms tightly wrapped around his waist.
Zhenxuan said close to his ear:
"It’s everything."
Eden tried to get free but the twins were unwilling to let him go. He looked at Zishu who had a malicious smile on his face, he knows that smile Gege would literally have it every day.
Looks like it’s time to deal with those two, you will pay dearly dear husbands... Before he could finish his thought ZIshu kissed him. It wasn’t a sweet kiss like in the limo it was wild and full of heat, Eden kissed him back. He felt two soft lips trailing kisses on his neck and he moaned. He broke the kiss and leaned his head back to give Zhenxuan better access. Zishu looked at Eden with a smile his eyes flashing with lust. When Eden felt Zishu trying to untie his belt he immediately stepped away from them.
Eden looked down and his eyes flashed devilishly. When he looked up he said with certainty:
"I don’t believe in feelings of love."
The twins looked at Eden confused. He explained:
"Why would I believe that love is real when I’m an alchemist and I can manufacture it? I don’t have feelings just fun. Do you understand?
When both twins frowned Eden forced himself not to smile.
The twins looked at each other and they seemed to have an unspoken discussion. When they turned toward Eden his previously amused eyes were indifferent. Zhenshuan said with a smile:
"We don’t believe in it either so we can just have fun."
Eden said crossing his arms:
"Good, we’ll just have fun with each other once and be done with it."
Zishu said:
"FIve times."
The twins looked at Eden nervously as he seemed to think.
"Fine but we can do whatever we want with whoever we want during that time."
The twin’s eyes flashed with anger and Eden smirked.
Zhenxuan was about to categorically refuse but Zishu said first:
"Deal."
Eden smiled and left. They both watched him leave with fiery eyes.
"You almost blew it."
Zhenxuan said domineeringly:
"I’ll never allow him to be with someone other than you and I."
"I understand but we need to take it slow or he’ll get scared and run away again."
At least now they finally understand why he looked so angry in the limo, he probably felt that they both wanted more than a fling and he didn’t like it.
They have no intention to respect the deal, before their five times are done Eden will be in love with them. Even if they had their fun before it’s only because they never met someone who made them want to be together forever. They feel a connection to Eden that is hard to explain but it’s almost palpable. Plus all the people they were with before only wanted to experiment.
They just wanted to see how fun it would be to sleep with two men at the same time. They still felt that they judged them for wanting to share everything but they never felt that judgment from Eden. On the contrary, he seemed to understand their need to be close better than anyone.
"We’ll just put him under surveillance and make sure no one gets near him."
Zhenxuan nodded.
Eden went to the hotel extremely pleased with himself after using Versem to listen to their conversation, turns out those two already have feelings for him. Still, he wants to have fun with them and make them pay.
Eden worked the rest of the day to get ready before going home. He ordered food for dinner and waited. When he heard a ring he walked out of the bedroom and opened the door. He was surprised when he saw the amount they had brought in. He was about to ask when he saw the twins with a smile.
He rolled his eyes and took a seat at the head of the table. Zhenxuan stood him up and took his seat, he sat him on his lap his hand around his waist. After closing the door Zishu joined them.
Eden started to eat in silence. After a few seconds, he felt a look directed at him. He looked up meeting Zishu’s eyes, he seemed to be pouting. Eden couldn’t stop himself from smiling mockingly. Zishu looked down in silence. Eden grabbed food from his plate and called:
"Gege?"
Zishu looked up and saw that Eden wanted to feed him. His eyes immediately lit up and he opened his mouth. Eden looked at him his eyes flashing with amusement as he chewed happily. You better enjoy this dinner because after today you won’t feel this happy again.
He turned around when Zhenxuan ordered:
"You must call me Gege too."
Eden smiled.
"I will Gege."
Zhenxuan smiled too. As they ate Eden would feed a very happy Zishu until they were done and left. Eden took a shower and went to bed. He ignored his cellphone when it rang again.
Since he blocked his bank account his uncle keeps calling him, then it was his aunt than his cousin. He’ll deal with it tomorrow when he goes back home. He is going to get things back in order whether they like it or not. In the morning Eden decided to sleep in and after ordering breakfast he walked out of the hotel waiting for his driver. He got in the car in direction of his and his grandfather’s house.
